Nuthin' but a "Sea" thang! Wow, what a great dinner. The only thing missing was Flavor Flav himself who's injected new life into this brand. They even had a Snoop and Dre cocktail of some sort that wasn't just Gin and Juice. I think it should be $1.87 during happy hour, but that's just me. I arrived just before happy hour was ending (around 5:50p) and was able to order 2 Long Island Iced Teas. And the waitress was cool about it and brought me the 2nd one when I was ready! I ordered the Build Your Own Ultimate Feast with a Lobster Tail, Crab Legs, Walt's Favorite Shrimp, and Garlic Shrimp Scampi. All were delicious and I poured the remaining scampi juice on the orzo rice for added flavor. So good! The Side Salad (served beforehand) was fresh and delicious too. And since I was dining by myself, I didn't have to worry about being shellfish and ate all of the Cheddar Bay Biscuits! I think I'm going to Cheddar Bay for my next vacation. (Cheddar Dre biscuits anyone?). This was probably one of the best seafood meals I've had in a while! Thanks to the team at Red Lobster for this. We almost walked out. It took 32 minutes from the time we sat down until the server came to take our drink order. Not sure why there was such a delay in getting served when the restaurant was not busy. No apologies were given. We didn't complain. We just won't come back. Food was lukewarm at best. My husband and I went there for my Birthday on Wednesday, I ordered the steak and lobster, I was really disappointed with the little piece of lobster that was small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. The steak came out looking good but was tough plus for what you're paying ($25.00) you don't get two sides, I would have loved mashed potatoes and a veggie for that price but only got a veggie. A most thoughtful and pleasant surprise from the Red Lobster team this evening (8/24/25)! When we were seated, the waiter casually asked if we were celebrating anything. Well indeed we were - our 40th wedding anniversary. Waited 20 min for waters and service in a filthy booth. My server was nice my steak ordered medium rare it was well done I couldn't cut it. Made me a new one took 37 min for them to ask if I wanted it boxed up to go. Long story short, dirty place, seafood was good, steak and vegetables over salted and over cooked. We went to RL in Mt Pleasant, WI on Friday, June 13, 2025 and what an absolutely horrible experience! I will say that our waitress and manager on site were nice but it did not make the rating better for the horrible food we were served. Me and hubby ordered the ultimate feast. Mine was crab legs, lobster, shrimp linguine, and fried shrimp. Hubby had the same but added scallops. The crab n lobster were still cold to the touch and the fried shrimp had a freezer burn taste to them. I hadn't know abt the lobster when the manager came to our table so, I digress w that. She offered to "open another box of shrimp" and serve those. NP, but again, they had a bad aftertaste. The manager did bring some hot crab legs out. The linguine Alfredo was noodles and abt 4 shrimp so I asked for more sauce. She brought out a BOWL of sauce and when I tasted it, it was a watered down version of true Alfredo that seemed to come out of a bag and they added fresh parsley for garnish. I myself am a cook and know how to make ANY DISH if I can have the main recipe. I had her take the shrimp back BITH TIMES and didn't eat them at all. The bill was $175 which is ridiculous considering the prep and portions. We paid the tab and left our waitress the standard 20% for us. If I had my way, what we weren't able to eat would've had to suffice for the tip bc either way, we'd be out of a few dollars. Being in the Midwest there's never any fresh seafood (which is weird considering its off the lake) so you really dont expect too much. But as a kid from the Eastcoast who grew up along the beltway (DC, VA, MD) I know how seafood should taste and this was "D" to "F" Class seafood. I will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN! They should just shut this place down like they did Applebee's bc if you're not gonna make sure ppl get what they pay for, you shouldn't be in business! I kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt bc seafood is limited around here as far as baked/broiled vs. fried and that's half the problem. They were one of the restaurant chains that have been on the chopping block and I think they should go on and just chuck it bc I don't see them getting better. Don't waste your time. I was pleasantly surprised recently with my Red Lobster lunch. I've had so-so meals here on a few occasions in the past but I feel like they have stepped up their game or maybe I just got lucky, either way my lunch was great! The clam chowder soup was excellent, everything you want in a creamy bowl of chowder and the complimentary biscuits were great for dipping in my soup. I was also really impressed with the crab cake appetizer! Full of lump crab and hardly any bread crumbs; I guess with a name like Red Lobster you better not skimp on the seafood! The Ultimate Feast is amazing and huge! Yes, I can usually eat the whole thing and to make matters worse, I even upgrade to Coconut Shrimp. Ha! I miss those cheddar cheese biscuits, which of course I dip in ranch dressing. I usually don't order an appetizer here since you already get so much food with the feast including a salad and biscuits. I've had good service here for the most part. This might have been one of the worst experiences I have ever had as a restaurant customer. We were told several times that the biscuits were burned so it would be a while. The waitress brought a salad and coleslaw without any silverware (before our appetizers came). We waited 5 minutes until we could get her attention and ask for silverware. When our appetizers did come, she didn't bring appetizer plates. It took another 3 minutes to get her attention and ask for appetizer plates. While we were eating there were several employees complaining to each other about something. I ordered a meal to go and when the waitress brought it out, she was tying it up in a ripped plastic bag. The best experience I ever had, I honestly loved the fact that as soon as I walked in Wendy the host greeted us at the front door saying with her deepest sympathy she is so sorry that they are extremely booked and busy. Lucky since we did call in and make a reservation before we came. When we got seated we had such a lovely waitress named Jordyn and she was so caring about us and our table. We came in on a Saturday with a large party for my daughter's birthday. It was not long before a large table was prepared to seat a dozen people. We were in a nice area. The service was prompt. When our orders were taken, and our food served, we were nicely surprised that each meal was fresh and carefully prepared. I asked for oil and vinegar for my salad (special diet) and was served just what I requested. From beginning to end, it was a wonderful place to have a party. I came in tonight with high hopes and expectations only to have them dashed and destroyed on my poor stomach. I ordered the lobster bisque as a starter and it was just as appetizing as the last time I ordered it. The friendly and accomidating waitress made me fresh coffee to accompany it. I think it goes without saying that the cheddar Bay biscuits were far too appetizing for my waistline. So we can simply say delicious. My pick two came with a salad. I chose the ceasar salad and asked for no croutons and our server very kindly accomidated me. It was lettuce, shaved parmessian and dressing. Nothing special but the lettuce was fresh and it was well dressed. Everything was going well, the service was attentive and prompt and then the floor fell out from under my booth. I chose the parrot isle jumbo coconut shrimp and the garlic-grilled shrimp skewer . I upscaled my mashed potatoes to the creamy lobster mashed potatoes and I added a lobster tail. I chose to have my lobster grilled. The coconut shrimp was excellent. It was cooked well and was flavorful. The grilled shrimp was lacking in all flavor. The shrimp itself was flavorless and if there was any garlic on it I would be flabbergasted. The rice was cooked aldente but again flavorless. The lobster tail was well grilled and quite perfect. Which brings us to the mashed potatoes. To be fair and honest these looked amazing. I took a picture and happily put my phone down to try them. I am not exaggerating when I state that I almost spit these horrid potatoes into my napkin. These were such a disappointment. The lobster on top was overly sweet, nausiatingly so. The potatoes themselves were I'm guessing instant or drastically over processed and the cheese sauce was plastic for lack of a better term. Please do yourself a favor and avoid these for your health. The manager removed the potatoes from the bill without asking. Again the service was excellent tonight. In conclusion do yourself a favor and spend your dining dollars elsewhere. read more

My friend and I went to red Lobster for a good meal on an early Friday night. Her husband has been in the ICU for a week and a half in critical condition. Needless to say, she needed a good meal. We ordered our food and it took an extremely long time. When the food was served I first noticed the noodles - they looked dried out and disgusting. Then noticed the asparagus- also indelible, the lobster was overdone , and the entire meal seemed like it was sitting around for a long time. The fish and chips were not good at all- one small piece of fish.- that's not fish and chips to me. This is a seafood place- i do not understand. We called waitresses over and said take food away. Lacking in management- back staff cooking and food preparation. Place need to hire staff members that want to work and care about peoples dinning experience. Let me preface this review by saying that I am one of the most reasonable dine-in customers you will find. I am patient, polite and always try to find the merit in at least tipping the industry standard. During my recent visit at this location, I was accompanied by my wife, three daughters and our ten month old son. It was late afternoon on a Tuesday and the in-house customers were few and far in between. The front desk was empty and we were waiting a good five minutes for the host to show up. After being shown to our table, which was clean and correctly chosen for our group size, we waited another five minutes for our server to arrive. In order to cut down on time, we had our appetizers and drink selections ready to order by the time she arrived. We also decided to order our entrees during this time, to be brought out some time after the apps were to be served. During the wait for appetizers, a full fifteen minutes, my wife moved some items around on the table for more space, including the electronic gaming kiosk. Moving the kiosk would later prove to be the cause for a charge on our bill; apparently, when you touch the screen it somehow registers that you want to play a game without any kind of confirmation or permission request. More on that later. When they were brought out (finally), our appetizers were delicious, but seemed to have spent a good deal of time under heat lamps. We were informed that the plates were hot, which was great, except that the server was placing dishes out in front of our ten month old son, who of course instantly tried to grab them. This dangerous practice would continue with nearly every appetizer and entree on his side of the table. We did express that greater care be taken with this, but to no avail. About ten minutes after we were finished with those, our server came to us and stated, "so it looks like your entrees were never rung through" which means our main courses were never started and she had to take our entree orders a second time, as if we had just sat down to eat. She placed a basket of undercooked rolls at our table and left. So we waited. And waited. Four patient young children, their mother and me. Twenty minutes later, a different server came out and told us it would be another ten minutes. After fifteen minutes we were brought out half of our entrees. The second half of our entrees arrived a little over five minutes later. Let me reiterate that there were about five tables being served at the time, with idle servers standing around, seemingly waiting for something to happen. Not a busy front-end by any means! We were never once prompted for refills, our drinks getting down to melting ice until the very end. We received one utensil for cracking crab that we had to pass between three people. Every wait for our server to return was ten minutes or more, so it seemed like punishment to ask for anything. We were never once checked on. In order to try and make up for the extraordinary amount of time we spent waiting, our server offered to remove the gameplay purchase we never knew we had incurred. We argued that we didn't play any games and it was ultimately removed. Well over two hours and one hundred twenty four dollars later, we shuffled out of the restaurant, tired, and dissatisfied. This was the most terrible dining experience I've ever received at a Red Lobster or ANY restaurant for that matter. Previous to this encounter, this nightmare scenario, I had been to the Mt Pleasant, WI location dozens of times, starting with the day after it first opened. Originally, we were set to eat at the Gurnee location. However, the Google restaurant page for that location erroneously stated that the Gurnee Red Lobster was dine-in, so we decided to soothe ourselves and our hungry children by traveling at the expense of a 40 minute drive to this Mt Pleasant location. This experience will ultimately be the reason we never do business with another Red Lobster again, unless something is done to correct the bad service we received. Went to this location during an all you can eat shrimp special. Not only was the place unorganized but once we got seated, the waiter told us that he can help us get rolls and salad but only Jesus could help with the Shrimp. The place was so behind on providing shrimp. 2 other groups walked out after waiting on shrimp refills and never getting them. We had reservations for 5:45 on a Tuesday evening. We were seated in the bar area. The server brought a beer to my girlfriend with just the bottle, so she asked for a glass. The glass took10 minutes to arrive. The server took our order and a different server brought our entrees. No one checked to see if we were in need of anything, like a 2nd beverage or ask about our meals. I perceived that there wasn't enough Staff, as the server was clearing tables and ignoring us. I tried to stop by for lunch, but walked out before I had anything to eat. Let's start with the hostess who felt she need to keep typing before looking up to talk to me. That is minor, fine finish what you are in the middle of but at least look me in the eye and say one moment. Then I am in corner booth and it sit there for 11 minutes and no one even comes to my table. I know exactly how long I was there cause I was watching a video on my phone so I had a clock on it and when I saw a couple who came in after I did with their server I was done. My guess the person on my table didn't know I was there. They were not full and it was at 1pm so not really an off hour. Poor communication between staff or a poorly trained one either way no thanks. I got up and walked out. I was able to make to the door without seeing an employee so they probably still don't know I was there. I have had trouble with slow service at the location before.
