Visiting the area and took a walk over to Reefpoint. Overall, I'd recommend it. They are right in…read morethe marina here in Racine. The restaurant is quite spacious and located on the second level of the building. There are options to sit inside, outside but covered, or outside. The marina and Lake Michigan add the experience with great views from the deck area. Our server was very nice. She was super attentive, and we really appreciated her checking back in for refills, napkins, etc. The food was actually the highlight of my experience. I got the garlic shrimp skewers which came with a Hawaiian roll, Cole slaw and a side (I chose a baked potato). My partner got the prime rib dip with hush puppies. Didn't have a chance to take a pic of the cheese curds before they were devoured! Only downside is the place is VERY noisy. Everytime someone who move a chair, the scraping sound was otherworldly. They are metal chairs on a concrete/gravel flooring. Not ideal. And waitstaff was constantly dropping things and running into each other or the chairs/tables. That was a bit chaotic. However, the food was great and so were the views. They also have live music (they had wrapped up before we got there today). I'd definitely come back (maybe sit inside near an area where you can look out on the lake).

If you go to catfish and more, you're going for some good catfish; and you'll likely find it there. They also do fried okra, potato chips, and my personal favorite: pork chops. Seriously, their pork chops are amazing. So, why you ask am I giving Catfish & More such a horrible rating? Because, in the words of one of the dudes working there, "Yeah, we be on our own shit." They say call ahead so you're not waiting forever to get your food--which is completely understandable--but these fools might take your order and then decide to close shop and bounce regardless. Given that unfortunate reality, expect them to have inconsistent hours. They seem to only be around when they feel like it.

This is a great place to grab your meal and go to the lakefront, bring dinner home, or pick up late night snacks and chill with your sweetie. I ordered the regular catfish which has a cornmeal type coating. There's a Cajun option as well. Someone suggested the chicken wings and described them as so good you're unsure if want to just gobble them up or eat them slowly to savor them. I saved that for my next trip to Racine. The gentleman behind the counter with friendly and patient while I was slow to decide between chicken, shrimp or catfish. I'm very glad I tried the catfish. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did but do yourself a favor and order the fries with no salt. They're still very flavorful and doesn't ruin your taste buds so you can enjoy the taste of the fish. I give this a four-star now for the deliciousness of the catfish and look forward to trying the shrimp and chicken before I consider them five star at what they do.
