The building itself is small, you walk in to the main bar room which has bar seating and tables. They also have a really nice big deck outside with plenty of picnic tables along the water. The day we were there, there was a band playing at the business next to the Tavern so the ambiance was fun and nice outside. The service was typical, nobody waited on us because you place your orders at the bar, but they bring out your food. We even were able to bring the pup outside and they had bowls of water ready to go. You can tell this is probably a pretty hopping spot in the heat of summer. Overall, a good spot to grab bar food or a leisurely drink along the canal.
