From September to December 2025 we have hit it about once a month. The atmosphere and cleanliness always make it inviting although the music selection does not always seem to fit the majority of patrons present. Service and food for the most part was consistent and priced at what would be expected at this restaurant and $ level. Of the four waitresses three were very warm and helpful with needed answers to a few questions and requests. Only one waitress was a bit odd and cool. She did what was necessary but if you needed something her failure to acknowledge verbally was disconcerting. She just looked at us without expression, spun around and walked off. Eventually she would bring what was needed. The food quality and taste overall was quite acceptable. Only item we did not like was the rice which seemed artificial and over processed. Drinks -- We usually order a beer and/or wine. Only once did we decide on a mixed cocktail. Not again. same as the rice there was a very artificial taste, no potency whatsoever and left both of us wondering if there was any alcohol at all. Not being heavy drinkers we usually feel the effect of one drink. Yes, we would return and hope that Red Lobster's reorganization makes it a sustainable franchise again. Got carry out. Glad to see this chain is returning to life. Coconut shrimp was excellent; lobster bisque also good. Biscuits of course, classic. Very good service, always enjoy the food here. I'm a huge fan of seafood so for a chain they are very good at it.

"I am not a huge steak or red meat person but for once it sounded good so I ordered the Wood-Grilled Peppercorn Sirloin and shrimp. The shrimp was amazing and had a nice char on one side to give it a little bit of texture. The mashed potatoes are still my favorite, because they don't mash it all of the way through so you are left with a few chunks in it here and there. Although the potatoes were seasoned perfectly, the broccoli was not seasoned at all. I had ordered my steak cooked medium, because I like my steak with just a hint of pink in the middle, but fully cooked through. It's a good thing that I was in no mood to send anything back. My steak 3/4 of the way through, minus the edges, was mooing still. It was a dark pink, on the verge of purple on the inside. I guess next time I will have to order it medium well, or just order chicken like I normally do." Took my Mom after her Dr's appt in Marquette...the people there were super sensitive and responsive to my Mom's limited mobility and very helpful in making this a respectful and pleasant experience for her...we had the " lobster" everytbing ...lol..for our meal... Fresh veggies - asparagus- grilled and summer squash...YUM as appetizers... And who can refuse the cheesy biscuits. OMG....with Coke products to boot! My wife and I went to red lobster with friends, we weren't sure what to expect, in terms of wait and service, it had been a while since we last went. The wait was very fast we were seated in a private area by the bar. Our friends and I ordered the endless shrimp which was served fast! I tried the Mediterranean skewers, The spicy breaded, and shrimp scampi. The meal came with a baked potato (best I've ever had) and a salad. My wife got the chicken strips and French fries which were her favorite. "Amazing! in her words" our server was the best! Very polite and engaging, fast and attentive service. She made the visit get to 5 stars. She brought the famous cheesy biscuits with the menus so really no complaints. A great place with great service and a very reasonable price! Ordered take out fish fry and soy sesame salmon bowl Friday. I have been ordering from them on and off for months. Very disappointed. The servings were generous during the pandemic, but slowly have been declining in size. Fridays order had a piece of fish that was small and my sesame salmon had everything served together with a small piece of salmon and barely existent Brussels sprouts. Previous orders had the salad in a separate container. The biscuits seem to be smaller also. Probably will not order take out again. read more

Food was not very good. Bar Harbor lobster bake- mussels weren't even open, no fresh tomato's, not a tomato even! Scallops were so fishy you couldn't eat them. Second bad meal there, won't be a third time. read more

Eat there last night and have always been a fan. The new decor is Great and that is were it stopped for us last night. We had the ultimate grilled seafood plate. Both my husband and I were bitterly disappointed. All the seafood was overdone, nothing like rubbery lobster, scallops and shrimp. The only saving grace was the mushroom appetizer, it was great. I have eaten at Red Lobster many times and have always enjoyed my experience. I went back the other night after not being there for several months. It was "endless shrimp" campaign. Our party was seated and our orders taken. When our salads arrived I inquired about the biscuits and was told they were still in the oven and would be out soon. We finished our salads and still no biscuits; I inquired again and was told again, soon. Shortly before our entrees arrive the biscuits made an appearance. Unfortunately they were underdone and doughy. Are they trying to cut costs by limiting the biscuit intake??? I ordered the endless shrimp and got cheddar mashed "Potatoes". The potatoes were gummy to the point of paste. I couldn't eat them. I got the shrimp scampi which was underwhelming. The shrimp were cooked well but the scampi sauce seemed "watered down". I also ordered the battered shrimp, they were o.k. But very minuscule. I then thought I would cut my losses on those two preparations and ordered the coconut shrimp. If I didn't know what I had ordered, I would not have recognized what they were. Again, they were so small they looked like deep fried nuggets. They were so well done any hint of coconut fried off and left a spicy coating and no shrimp taste. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed in my meal. I have always enjoyed eating here in the past, but the quality, quantity, and satisfaction were sorely missing. I was able to overlook my table mate having to send back his fork to get one without food caked on it and changing seats because of the food on the floor beneath his seat. I have been eating at this red lobster for over 10 years. In the past the service was poor but I like the seafood. I just ate there two days ago, and it was the first time since they have remodeled. It also appears like they remodeled their staff. The service was excellent and the restaurant looks great. My food was good and appeared to have plenty of portions. Of course, when you're talking about seafood you rarely get as much food for your dollar but I felt this was sufficient. I will definitely go back there. read more

Today we had a reservation for my husbands birthday. We had 7 people in our party for our 6:30 reservation. The waitress came and took our drink order. Our drinks came promptly, but were delivered by a different waitress. Our first waitress was my husbands ex wife from 28 years previous. At 7:30 we got our salads, and at 7:45 our first basket of biscuits. Note that this is Wednesday and not busy at all. I went to the front desk to ask to speak to a manager. We had been sitting for over an hour before salads and biscuits. When I got back to the table our food was there, but everyone complained their food was cold. We were comped at half price because of the long wait. This service is completely unacceptable!! There were probably 6 tables of customers and no reason for the long wait time. This isn't the first time this has happened to us at the Marquette Red Lobster and I don't know if we'll ever go back. I am in the service industry myself, and believe me word of mouth goes a long way. read more
