Came here for a trip to Kingston with my family. Haven't been to a red lobster in a long time and was quite excited to be here. The place has lots of seats inside, we did make a reservation an hour ahead because of our big party. They accommodated us right away, service is also great, two waitresses attended to us and they were polite & funny. Food was really good but other members of my family didn't really enjoy theirs, the salmon was okay and the sauce for the lobster & shrimp pasta was kind of bland. Never been to a Red Lobster before but kind of know what to expect from a large chain restaurant. Everything was pretty much standard I feel. Atmosphere is spacious, cabin-like and comfortable. Staff do the standard vaccination check and contact tracing procedures before being seated. Service is really good as I'd expect and our server was constantly checking in on us throughout the meal which was solid. Came here for the Endless Shrimp promotion going on for $23.99 on Monday-Thursday and goes up to $29.99 Friday-Sunday. For 23.99 I think the price is pretty good for what you get. There's 5 varieties of shrimp on offer here but the highlights for me were the crispy thai and the grilled skewer. Don't recall how many orders I did but they definitely do not make you wait for ordering more shrimp. Our server kept coming back asking what our next shrimp order was going to be. The shrimp isn't anything amazing but it's just pretty good overall. You only get 1 side for all of this which is a bit disappointing as I stopped ordering more shrimp because I was getting a tad bored of just stuffing my face with shrimp and nothing else lol. Quality of seafood could be better. There used to be a salad included but not anymore.

We were in town for a tournament and were looking for somewhere to celebrate the end of season. My boys decided they wanted to try something different so I suggested Red Lobster. We were seated quickly and for a Friday night I was surprised it wasn't overly busy. Our server arrived quickly with water and Cheddar Bay Biscuits and pointed out the special feature menu. Out of the norm, I decided to try a beverage from the bar. I was treated to a visual masterpiece with the Snowglobe Sangria. It literally sparkled! Flavor was good as well. For our meals we started with Seafood Stuffed Mushroom caps which has been a favorite of mine for over 25 years, and now I will have to share at any future visits with my kids! They came out quick, piping hot and delicious. For them I ordered the chicken tenders, but I accompanied my meal with a second Maritime Lobster Tail so they could enjoy their own and not steal mine from my plate ;) The meals came quickly and like the appetizer were just the perfect temperature. I had the Ultimate Feast and enjoyed every bite. Accompanied by a salted baked potato, even with the generous portion I was wishing for more. The Walt's breaded shrimp batter was crispy, garlic shrimp deliciously baked in garlic butter, lobster tail tender and the snow crab firm to crack and sweet inside. And what meal couldn't be topped off better without a visit from a fresh local celebrity? When my youngest son sauntered to the live lobster tank to take one more view of the 'cute' lobsters, our waitress returned to ask if they would like to pet one. The hostess brought forth a fine specimen table side, letting my boys and the children of friends sitting at the next table a chance to see one up close and even touch to feel it's hard shell. A quick trip to the washroom to clean up after meeting their new friend, they were back in their seats for their desserts. While pricier than I remembered from my last visit, this unfortunately has become the norm after COVID. Still, the meal and the service were excellent. Not somewhere we could afford to eat often, but would certainly be at the top of our list for special occasions in Kingston again. read more

Service was impeccable. Quiet atmosphere. Our main was not great so the manager compensated the whole meal for both of us and also gave us extra biscuits to take away. This is so rare nowadays and we will certainly return very soon. read more

Red Lobster is the premier seafood place in Ktown. Their call-in order and pick up service during the pandemic is simple, but the app can be unpredictable to accept an order (but who cares, call the toll free number and talk to a stranger and brighten both your days). Food is always hot and excellent. Service from the staff pre-pandemic has always been top-notch. Never once felt rushed to finish meal and leave even during busy times. Nothing against negative reviewers but its always busy, so Red Lobster must be doing something right. Oh, and the few times I got steak and chicken, they tasted awesome too, so their chefs/cooks know how to do all the proteins. read more

We have gone to this red lobster countless times and had decent experiences. Tonight was horrible or waitress didnt inform us of the specials just asked if we were fimiliar with the menu we said yes..she said good and left. Escarcots were good mushrooms a little under cooked...my order never changes and its sea food so it was good. The problem came with my husband's order steak medium well (not hard to do) the steak comes, waitress drop it off he cuts into the steak it's rare we have to track down our waitress (345p.m not rush hour by any means)who brings the steak to the kitchen then if you can imagine after the steaks been cut they through it back on the grill to finish cooking it. (This causes the juices to flow out and toughen)...its sent back to the kitchen they cook up another one, the manager drops it off and walks away (at this point my dinner done) he cuts the steak and its bleeding. (It's not rocket science it's a well done steak) theyget the manager she walks out of the kitchen laughing and a bunch of staff gather around (so unprofessional) I assume to listen to her story...we pay our 80.00 bill with utter disgust (my meal, drinks and appitizers) We pay the bill and leave (keep in mind my husband hasn't eaten so I'm not at all impressed) the manager follows us out to the parking lot and gives us a 30.00 card...my husband hands the card to me and says give this to someone you really dont like . I've been to this Red Lobster many times. It always seems to be a good experience. I love their snow crab legs the most. I ALWAYS get them, almost every time. Their famous garlic biscuits are AMAZING. Plus the staff often send you home with an extra batch if you ask (definitely ask!). My boyfriend always gets the shrimp alfredo dish by itself or as a combination of some sort. It is his favourite by far. We've had a multitude of dishes & never been disappointed. The establishment itself is clean & a nice atmosphere. The staff are great and helpful. Don't be afraid to ask questions! If you don't know how to use the cracker that comes with the crab they'll help! I think that is impressive and goes beyond my expectations. Maybe that's just me, haha. This was the worse fish dinner I have ever eaten. The salmon, sea scallops and jumbo shrimp were nicely cooked but they were soaked "saturated" in butter (margarine or grease). I have never had grilled food presented in such a manner especially when salmon is considered an extremely healthy choice. It is too bad that they believe that the food needs to be overwhelmed with grease in order for it to be palatable. read more

Parking is onsite in a free lot. It can be hard to find a spot at times . Restaurant is clean and kept up to date. Wait staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Food is delicious at this location and the price justifies it. read more

Lunch here with my mother and a friend yesterday was as expected a pleasant experience. The food was great, service excellent. My old favorites garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp were as good as remembered. The stuffed mushrooms I suggested a hit with the others. Red Lobster used to be so much more that what it has become over the last few years. Like the McDonald's of SeaFood. The biscuits of course are worth coming here. The servers are wonderful and so is the environment. The issues aren't so much with THIS restaurant but with the chain itself. Still a go to for us, but we no longer view or expect a 'dining' experience here. And the food never looks like it does in the pictures. read more

my husband and daughter went to dinner at the red lobster yesterday the 9th of Jan, they said it was ok...they brought me home a lobster dinner and the first think I did was open the salad...IT WAS ALL RUSTY!! not a green leaf in the dish..so with that said we wouldn't go back there for any dish, Fresh salad is a must and when the whole salad is rusty it's been sitting their for days.! I went here because it was my best friend's birthday. I'm not a fan of seafood so I opted for a steak. It was absolutely the most overcooked thin slab of meat I've ever been presented and I could barely keep it down. The side was equally bland. This restaurant is good if you like family style casual unpretentious seafood. It is not great if you are health conscious as most of the food is either fried or swimming in butter. That makes it very tasty but not especially elegant or high end. It is not news to anyone who has eaten at a Red Lobster that the fresh- from- the oven tea biscuits they serve before your meal are absolutely delicious. Our stay at Red Lobster in Kingston this evening was so great. The food was very delicious and the staff was very obliging. It was the very first time my wife and I had lobster and crabs. So our waitress Teresa just put on some gloves and showed us the most efficient way to get the meat out of the shell. The atmosphere in this restaurant was cosy even if it was well frequented.
