We ordered dishes and was very surprised how skinny and overlooked asparagus were. Same thing goes with lobster, hard to chew. The service was way under the expectation. My family and I came in last night for dinner. The lobster lovers dream was great. I added the carrots and butternut squash with Brown butter sauce. Yum. My husband had lobster trio and the potato soup. I got to try a bit of his stuffed lobster and soup. Also good. My daughter meal was also good. I don't eat seafood, but I go so my husband can indulge. Food was ok, service was good. I wish they could cook the broccoli properly, I couldn't eat it. Big pieces that were barely cooked and not seasoned. Too much pepper in the mashed potatoes. Also I ordered the filet steak and it was not cheap but it was tiny and not that tender. Thanks to the staff, especially, Amanda, we had the best University of Oregon graduation Luncheon ever planned. Amanda and the other managers responded promptly to all my requests and questions. We had 29 RSVP guests and 5 unexpected. This event was on Father's day but somehow Amanda managed to seat the unexpected arrivals in our area without causing a wrinkle in the flow of events. All the meals were perfect. With the arrival of the cake, Amanda magically brought in a table to display the beautiful cake designed by Walmart Superstore Bakery. When the gifts started piling up, another table was brought in. As I wondered how I was going to cut the cake, Amanda came to my side and whispered, "my staff can cut and serve the cake for you". She anticipated everything to ensure a smooth and successful event. Thank you Red Lobster for making my Grandson's graduation such a success. read more

We went to red lobster to enjoy their never ending shrimp... Which was a joke. They took forever to even bring us drinks, forever again to come take our orders. The food finally came about an hour after being there. The waitress, Brandy, was unapologetic and very snotty. Marginal seafood, typical chain food. Took my daughter there for her birthday because she wanted to try lobster. Server looked like she had a crack problem and completely ignored us for the duration of our meal. I ordered a second drink when our food was served and I was told rudely by my server " can you give me a minute?". I never saw the drink and considering they don't provide water, I ate my meal without a drink of anything. The deep fried vegetables were raw, which they refunded, but not after arguing with us that 'that is how it is served... " (cold and raw?). When it was time to settle, the server said she is getting a manager to come up and discuss the issues. Needless to say I was completely turned off at that point and had the family go to the car so I could get the check. The manager came and wanted to discuss the issue. I said " just get me my check and I will leave and write this off". He said " No I want to talk about this". I said "give me my "f"ing check". He said, " you don't need to use that kind of language". I said, "Evidently I do". You get the idea... So, over priced, marginal quality, piss poor management and my server sucked. read more

This was a bad experience! Never had lobster, never been to a red lobster. I went with a big group. We waited an extremely long time for drinks, ordering, and extra long for our checks, we asked three times to get them. Worst of all the lobster was not good. Others in the group said it tasted old. Yeah, I know, I have no business eating in a place like this. If Newman's would offer a formal restaurant with dim lighting and some boozy drinks, these guys would have no chance. However, I have a handicap: this was the only place I liked that wasn't too adventurous for my grandparents, so it became my default birthday dinner venue during my formative years in the midwest. Nostalgia's got some deep hooks, as do those gorram cheddar biscuits. Alas, our last was an absolutely abysmal experience. To start, the waiter delivered a five-minute monologue and asked rude, personal questions. We just wanted him to go the eff away so we could look at the menu already and get down to the business of, you know, eating. I shouldn't have been so eager. My shrimp was overcooked and mushy. The scallops were utterly flavorless. The lemon garlic butter sauce was unbearably salty. Waiter continued to be needlessly intrusive throughout the meal and made me wish I'd worn a teashirt bearing the Strunk 'n' White dictum "Omit needless words." Never again. read more

I really wanted to hate it but I couldn't. The prices were reasonable for what we got and the food was good. The items that were fried seemed a bit greasier than normal. The service was almost too friendly and over the top, but that's how they train people. The wait was long but the food came out quickly and at the correct temperature. Best experience I have had at a dine in restaurant in a very long time! TORY IS THE BEST! My guy Tory, was quick, smart, funny, and all around a fantastic server! I hate seafood, I would have never come in to red lobster but my girlfriend dragged me in, then to my surprise, I received the best service! Tory is the man, he was on top of it, some one needs to give this man a raise because he is glowing like the sun in this red lobster! Don't do it! We were here for dinner for close to two hours. We both decided on the "Endless Shrimp" promotion. It originally took almost an hour for our first shrimp dishes to come out!?!? And after that, we both requested our second shrimp dishes. She ended up getting it 25 minutes later and mine never came out!!! Finally asked for the check and still had to wait. The waitress was busy and the problem seemed to be with the kitchen IMO. Stay away from this place if you value your time or if you want good food at a good value. read more

We went as a family last Wednesday evening. We had 6 adults and 3 children. The wait was short, relatively speaking. 15-20 minutes. We had a wonderful staff to wait on us, actually had two doing it. The food was great! We had several 4 course meals for the $15 that is going on right now. My wife and one daughter shared one, and for them it was a perfect size portion. My husband and I went here for our 3 year wedding anniversary yesterday and I was a little hesitant BUT I am very glad we went. The food was what I expected (good, but not the best seafood I've ever had, Im from Alaska so..) but what made me give this place such a good review was the waitress we had, Jennifer. She was extremely sweet and helpful and even wrote "Happy 3 year anniversary" on just about anything she could. Made me happy that she actually paid attention to her customers. the atmosphere was also nice, location not too bad and parking was perfect. First time visiting a Red Lobster, and only the second time I've ever had lobster in my life. And I just have to say.. I don't get the hype behind lobster.. Sure, it tastes good... But at such a high price point for something that's expected to be dipped in butter I'd rather just eat shrimp... Anyways, ordered the dueling lobster tails and I just wasn't impressed, I was expecting a crab and shrimp stuffing on one of them but there was just a light dusting of something that was mainly glued to the lobster shell so I couldn't really taste it without bites of crunchy shell mixed in.. The other lobster had shrimp in a cream sauce which was the clear winner of the duel. The mashed potatoes were really good, and I wish they gave you more, but they add a pound of too crunchy green beans on top of them instead.. So in total, it was an okay tasting meal, but I think I'll save my $80 (2 lobster fest entrees and 1 drink) for 9 meals of shrimp and chips from Newman's... read more

I have a VERY restricted diet due to allergies & LOVE that I can come here and NOT worry. They'll make your food as "clean" as you want it, the service is FABULOUS.... I've only gone there for lunch though, so I can't speak to any issues regarding dinner service. Lunch is quick & YUMMY! read more

We drove 75 miles to enjoy some seafood. After we sat down, three wait staff walked by and said they would be right there. After about five minutes we finally ordered our drinks we waited about 10 more minutes and still haven't received our drinks and no one had stopped by to take our order. We decided to wait one more minute and still nothing. If we were about to spend about 60 dollars for a two person dinner, we would expect better service. It's what you expect from a low quality chain. 10 minute wait to get water and a hello. This was at a rather slow time as well. (Not quite 5pm) The waitress had to go get answers from someone else for every question and they do not have local beer even though the menu says to ask for the local selection. Ok- so it's Red Lobster. If you come here you know what to expect. Endless shrimp season brings me back every time. Great food, reasonable prices- biscuits that you can't beat. Also- 5 Star friendly service from Cassie! Sit in her section and you won't regret it. Friendly and efficient. My first time to Red Lobster and it was a great experience. I'm not what you would call a huge fan of seafood but I'm trying to expand my horizons and I do like shrimp so off we went. My daughter had the coconut shrimp, my son in law ordered the fish & chips and I had the 4 course dinner. We did have a appetizer which was mozzarella cheese sticks. They were good. I then had clam chowder & a garden salad. I really enjoyed both, then my main course arrived and I had wood grilled shrimp with a baked potato and rice pilaf. All were very tasty. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals and to top it off, we had the triple chocolate brownie and ice cream. When I leave a restaurant, I don't want to be still hungry. I wasn't. Oh, our server, Cameron, was a very nice young lady. She really helped me out as she made me a little platter of dipping sauces for my shrimp. The sauces were very good and I appreciated the choices she helped me get. To me, service is huge and she made us all feel very comfortable without being overbearing. And I really love it when a server keeps the water glasses full and checks to make sure everything is okay. I will be back and try other dishes as I really enjoyed myself here.
