I normally don't have the highest expectations from chains but today's service and food was top notch and on par! I haven't been here in years just because the last couple of times we left with 3 star mediocrity. First off wow! The cocktail selection at Red Lobster is fun and tropical. My Grandma ordered a top shelf Long Island Ice Tea and it was super yums and priced decent considering it was not happy hour. It was mixed perfectly. The salads were fresh and with a lot more vegetables that just the standard iceberg mix. That was nice I actually got 3 grape tomatoes. That has changed from last time. My Grandma is 86 and while ordering stated she loves the King Crab but it is just too difficult to crack and break the waiter Paco stated, " I will do it for you." My Grandma about jumped out of her seat with joy and said, "yes" that is what I really want to order. He came with gloves and prepared it table side for her. This made it one of the best meals she has had in a very very long time. Paco was an outstanding! Ask for him!! He has a great attitude, was fun, charming, clean appearance and made for a great experience. He went above and beyond to make my Grandma feel valued and she tipped him 33% of which she never does! It is rare when you go to a restaurant and get what you expect when paying money for service and food. I hope he trains other servers! He was 100% on the money!! This is my first time at this Red Lobster. I would drive across town to this location. I ordered the pick 2 which I got Salmon and Coconut shrimp. It was a lot of food for 21.49 it was a great deal. My spouse got the endless shrimp they got the order wrong in the type of shrimp that he wanted but that was ok they fixed that by the grilled shrimp they replaced it with wasn't cooked it was still see threw and tasted awful they brought out more shrimp grilled well burnt and had none of the ginger sesame sauce on it they brought out plan ones The manager came out to apologize she was nice are waitress for are table was amazing her name was (Nadyne) she brought us the manager just to be safe and she was extremely attentive to are table are glasses never emptied but overall the food wasn't anything to brag about but the service was the only thing that kept it from being a awful experience at red lobster read more

I was in El Paso to visit my son on March 15-17th, 2013. His favorite restaurant is Red Lobster - so we just had to go. I was concerned about the wait time so I called ahead to see how busy they were. I was immediately connected to the manager, Lawrence, who took my name and assured me that they would get me seated as soon as possible. When we arrived the place was packed (a combination of Payday and Lent apparently)! I assumed that we would have to wait for 45 minutes at least. Lawrence was courteous and we were seated within 5 minutes. We then had a lovely waitress (don't recall the name) who was just wonderful. Our food was absolutely impeccable and despite all our entrees (and drinks) the bill wasn't too bad either. We had a great time! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! read more

My grandma and I decided to order for to-go though the red lobster website to use her Mother's Day gift card she's been holding onto. Our order was to be ready by 6:09 pm so we parked and called at around 6:15. We were told by a lady on the phone, unfortunately didn't get her name, that it would be brought out shortly. Well come 30 minutes later we're sitting there like idiots when I decided to go in because I had a feeling it was ready and it was. Just sitting there. The gentlemen at the pickup were apologetic and told me that they never were alerted that we were waiting. So I drove the food home and of course it's missing my grandmas mac n cheese. The man on the phone let me know that it would be refunded to the gift card but after everything that had happened we were pretty upset. One of those things happening is understandable but overall was a pretty poor experience, the men I talked to were great and helpful but the people in the background have really dropped the ball. read more

I haven't gone to Red Lobster in a while, and being a lover of seafood we decided to visit Red Lobster for dinner. We dined on a Sunday night, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Our server was fantastic, he was very attentive to our table and was very informative about the menu items he recommended and what the plates consisted of. Their alcoholic beverages were delicious! In addition, we had their seafood stuffed mushrooms- YUMM! If you love mushrooms, I highly recommend these- they were loaded with cheese and baked to perfection! Their is so much to boast about! Their coconut shrimp are delicious! The dipping sauce is to die for! With a mixture of pineapple and coconut mixed into it. My husband had their bar harbor bake- a mixture of a lot seafood, from mussels, lobsters, shrimp and scallops- OH YEAH! The plate is large, so I highly recommend to not order an appetizer or eat anything prior if you're ordering this. I was too full! I only was able to eat 1/4 of the plate. Overall, restaurant was clean and nice, all the staff was fantastic! From the hostess to our waiter and food was delicious! Definitely will be returning! read more

First of all the mojito was really bad. When I got my plate there was a hair on the baked potato. I told the waiter to take it away. The manager comes over and says sorry and brings me another baked potato. Couldn't really eat the 2nd. When I got my bill, the manager didn't even discount my meal. Service and food were not that good on both visits. Will not go back especially after manager just saying sorry and that's it. He needs to learn a lot about customer service. read more

For many years I have refused to eat shrimp. I had no idea what I was missing. Red lobster definitely made me a believer. I love the endless shrimp plate. I love it. I didn't wait for a seat and had great service. However I was waiting for the server for almost 10 minutes until 1 server noticed my table and asked if anyone had been waiting on me. It worked out well cause he stayed as my server and was awesome. He answered all my questions about the menu, always re filled my drink and he was very quick to put in my order. This location deserves the best rating for the level of customer service the manager provided for us! A month ago I went to the Red Lobster off of Gateway Blvd in El Paso, TX. When paying for the check I used two $40 gift cards. The server returned with one gift card and a receipt showing the 'balance' left on the card that was returned to us. Recently I went to the Red Lobster off of Joe Battle Blvd and when prompted to pay I handed the giftcard that had a remaining 'balance' of $32. The server came back to inform us that there was a zero balance left on the card. I thought it could have been a honest mistake that the previous server made. The manager insisted that he try to take care of the situation and call the manager at the Gateway location. After much looking into, the Joe Battle manager retrieved the full giftcard number of the giftcard that actually had the money left on it. He ran the card number to pay our bill and found the remaining $32 had been used up and was now zero dollars. However, the Joe Battle manager insisted they cover the bill and issued us a brand new $32 gift card from their location. This was not necessary because it was not their fault, but this manager went above and beyond to take care of us. Thanks! read more

I give this location a 2 and it's not because the food isn't good because that's pretty consistent in being yummy. My lack of stars is solely because of service. My husband and I like to sit at the bar vs a table and the bartenders in general aren't super social. Sure, they'll give u the required greeting, and make sure you get ur food, but there's no lasting memory of the associate. No desire to get to know their customers which makes no sense, a memorable server equals more return visits and more revenue for the company. Not to mention the associate who has the chance to create a loyal customer thus increasing their own tips and income. That's my only complaint is the service. read more

I am really disappointed in the performance of the management at the Red Lobster located in El Paso, Joe Battle area. We used to make this a weekly visit, every Sunday after church we would come to this Red Lobster like clock work we would be there exactly 30 minutes after church. The food was fantastic as well as the manager and servers, we would bring Duncan donuts because of how well the service and servers did their jobs. Recently and after the fake pandemic, and now that we are able to dine in again. I find that the service has really diminished, the food is no where near at a Red Lobster standard, the clam chowder is usually not hot, and the food is nowhere near as tasty as it was in the past, and they usually get the orders wrong or lack something that should have been included in the order. The times we have visited now have left a lot to be desired, many times the items that we are trying to order are out of stock. Trays are dropped and left there until the ice from the drinks practically melt with lemon slices that can cause a tripping hazard. The servers are at a minimum and have too many tables assigned to them, which in turn causes delays and bad customer service. On the recent visits which is a few now, we can't distinguish who the manager is because they are not on the floor checking on or helping the servers or talking with customers as we are used to. Please help that location out they are really way out of the standard that one would expect from a Red Lobster, this is a place one goes for special occasions, but after the last few times we have been there the visit has been less than special. Forgot to mention the rest rooms, I've seen cleaner ones at gas stations. -- read more

I am giving red lobster 5 stars based on the service alone. I believe our servers name was Jacob...I am a few days late in writing the review so I could be wrong. He was on top of everything and made sure to converse with my niece. He was extremely personable. The food was good as well. It is lobster fest and although Red Lobster isn't upscale seafood it is still pretty good for the price. We had lobster bisque which itself wasn't bad..a little salty. Unfortunately, we stopped going to Red Lobster prior to Covid because the quality of the food, taste, was lacking. We decided we would go again because we did miss some of their food. First off, the plate we ordered, Garlic Shrimp Linguini, does not come with either Soup or Salad. You have to pay extra. Almost every dining establishment, offers these with most Entrees. We did order Salad and Soup and requested it be brought out before the meal. That did not happen. We received them several minutes after the Entree was delivered. I got New England Crab Chowder. It was like water. Chowder is usually hearty. The Sauce on the Linguini was thicker than the Chowder. I complained and did not eat it. There was an apology. I figured it would at least be taken off of the check or a Manager would come by. Neither one happened. I got charged $5.00 for a bowl of sauce that I did not eat. When I inquired at the Front about this, I was given my receipt and another apology. That was it!! The Garlicky Shrimp is not Garlicky and the Chowder is a Sauce. I am not impressed with the way this whole situation was handled. I did not get rude, I just simply grabbed my Receipt and left. There will not be a return visit. read more

Let me first preface this glowing review by stating that the food is merely a two or three star at best rating. But the entire experience was really made so enjoyable for my wife and I by such an incredibly terrific server who was ever present but not constantly in our faces. He anticipated just about all of our requests from our kinda unusual request for the kitchen to space the meal out so we could take our time to enjoy our drinks and appetizers without getting slammed everything within a 15 minute window, to having the kitchen re-cook our meal after it was delivered by another server earlier than we would have liked. He was incredibly polite while not coming off as a sycophant. My wife and I agree that he is just about the best server that we have had in a very very long time. He made what would otherwise have been a mediocre experience, into a really nice evening. His name is Frank C, and I highly suggest anybody who eats here to request him as a server. The food was amazing and the waiter was polite and had the best manners and personality (especially with kids) my son even commented on how nice he was..something we need more of now a days. Went with my family that came in from Fort Worth, and I think her name was Betty but she was very nice and approachable. Then our waitress came (Michaelle) and told us about the deals and promotions going on at the time. We waited no time for our alcohol drinks and the great rolls red lobster has. I've attend here before several times and the service is just another thing but Michaelle actually goes out of her way to make you comfortable and enjoy your night out no matter what the occasion. I really don't care to write negative reviews. Maybe an experience is a one time occurrence or a customer's single bad run in. This however is not my first incident with this particular restaurant. I can assure you it will be my last. My previous incidents involved customer service while dining in; careless, inattentive, and apathetic wait staff. My most recent (and again last) encounter involved take out service. I placed a simple enough order with only one request (extra lemon for my lobster and shrimp). I was told the order would take 20 minutes to prepare which was exactly the amount of time it took me to get there. 45 minutes later I finally received my carry out order. I watched people come in, eat, and depart all while I waited on my carry out. It wasn't like they forgot about me or lost my order. The hosted informed me that their chef had quit and they were backed up. Funny? Who was preparing everyone else's food. I let it go. What's a little extra time on a Saturday afternoon anyways? I finally got my order and got home. You know, silly me, I always check my drive through order at fast food restaurants. I expect a high school student needs a little oversight; surely not the professionals at Red Lobster. My food was cold. My food was burnt. And I didn't get any lemons, let alone the extra I had requested. And they gave me the wrong salad. To top matters off there wasn't even any butter. So I had cold, burnt grilled shrimp and lobster, by the way, their advertised special, dry, with the wrong salad. They did however pile in some extra broccoli. Good bye Red Lobster. read more

My husband three years ago was ready to go deployed to Iraq, I was so sad it was a goodbye for another year of separation, we decided to go out to Red Lobster. Specifically, as soon I entered to the restaurant ... I requested a dessert immediately after we finished eating to make my husband feel special, but my major surprise was when the manager and waiters were around the table where we were sitting and wished him good luck thanked him for his military service and brought the dessert that I ordered with a positive energy they were so special with us made our night really unforgettable, at the end we were not charged... the manager said they covered the bill.
