Food is ok Ambiance none service one is worst experience I ever had first brought the wrong order the soup didn't make it no bothered to check on me I had to ask few times for a glass of water read more

Been here multiple times in the past and was disappointed, staff is great as always but the food tasted bland. The ceviche was dry and lacking flavor. I don't know if it had been sitting for too long but it wasn't good at all. The tacos also lacked flavor this time. I'd give them another chance because prior to this I've always loved the food here. Maybe try a different location. read more

We are regulars at this establishment across town. The food is always good and consistent. I always order the fish tacos on the skillet (they are normally fried) and it usually takes a while to get your order. The staff is very friendly and helpful. But the food always takes time. Don't ho there starving like us. I love the cocktail because it isn't sweet. I guess they use Clamato and not ketchup which makes it better imho. read more

Great atmosphere great service and delicious meals. This place is a nice place to come enjoy the beach while you are stuck in a dismal heat stricken desert. read more

Food was amazing but the kitchen was playing music way louder than the front. Once someone complained from another table, a waitress let the kitchen know. This man (I assume cook) in a brown shirt comes out an yells, "FUCK" unexpectedly next to me, scaring me, and he stormed into the kitchen. read more

I want to start by saying that I love this place--both the taste of the food and the service in the past. However, today's experience was disappointing. While I was there, I witnessed the cook using a breathalyzer device right in front of me and another customer. I'm not here to judge anyone personally, but doing that in front of clients seems unprofessional. When I mentioned my concern to the young waitress, she dismissed it and told me I was being petty for complaining. That response really surprised me and made me feel like my concern wasn't taken seriously. I hope this feedback is received in the spirit of wanting to see this place maintain the great standards it used to have. read more

I went to this place with my family today. Looking at plates they were delivered on tables, it looks like their portions good. The staff was kind and courteous. The place is over-crowded, there are too many tables and they are too close together. If you have accessibility issues, this is definitely a tight squeeze, I could do it with crutches, because a lot of kind people let through, as there is only one narrow path in and out. I don't think a wheelchair would be be to navigate the place. Our food took quite a long time, about 45 min. Then it took quite a while for us to get our check. The place was so crowded that we didn't drink refills in a timely manner. My family felt food was good but the chips were a little stale... read more

Good service, the aguachiles are always very good, good selection of beers as well, tacos are delicious!

The fish tacos and the shrimp cocktail were okay. There were several dirty tables when I arrived, both inside and outside and I sat in the only clean one I could find. It took 15 minutes before any staff member could even acknowledge my presence. read more

Never answer the phone to take a to go order When they do they are rude like you're bothering them Then they make you pay with your card before picking up ? I get it someone skipped out on paying them but that's drastic. From hearing their attitude to how they want you to give them your card info over the phone it's not worth it. The tacos aren't consistent anymore and honestly their attitude to their customers is always rude. Never again. read more

My wife and I really enjoy the food at Little Shack. We eat at their various restaurant's 2 to 3 times a month. This rating is due to my experience on 8/27/2024 at the 1355 George Dieter Dr. location. We arrived and sat at a table at 8:40pm. The posted hours are from 11:00am - 9:00pm. The staff kindly informed us that the kitchen was already closed. I would have addressed this directly on the spot but my wife asked that I not make a scene. Maybe there was a good reason to shut down early but if you just wanted to get off work earlier, please change your posted hours of operation to indicate that you actually close at 8:30pm. read more

Called to place an order through the phone and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. It was only 2 caldos. Came in and ended up waiting over 40 minutes for the order to be ready. People who got there way after me to dine in were getting their food before I did. The young lady said it was because they got it mixed up with an Uber order. Still not an excuse for it to take so long. To top it off they said they didn't have rice either. Very inconvenient, never ordering from this place again. read more

Super bad service , place is full and literally no one has food. There is only 2 servers for like 40 people . Never coming back here again.

Came in for a quick lunch with family. It was empty when we arrived which was very nice. We ordered an appetizer, meals, drinks and were able to leave within an hour and a half. That's great, considering it looked as though there were only two to three servers and a full house when we left. The food was okay, not great but I commend them on their prices and service. My main food complaint was that the Ahi Tuna was cooked not raw. I never had that before. Bummer. The menu is very easy to understand but that detail was not listed or perhaps it was their mistake. All in all it was an okay spot. read more

I went to the original Little Shack and I think this one's better! I sit at the bar and talk to the waitresses all the time, they're friendly! This place is all about the tacos. The Little Shack taco I think is the best. It's really awesome. And they're stuffed with food! You're going to each 3 tacos and be super full. Just order the tacos! read more

The food is delicious, absolutely delish. The freshness of the food is yum. The service is HORRIBLE! If you are in a hurry, I wouldn't recommend going here. They take forever to bring food, to charge the account, they forget orders. I mean it's every time not a one time occasion. Not sure why, but they really need to get that under control. read more

Three of us came for lunch, and it's a hoppin'. We all had fish or shrimp tacos, and they were great! They have a nice variety of beer ( import and domestic) and soft drinks. I had an oyster shooter and fish tacos with a Modelo Especiale to drink. It really hit the spot! The table next to us had Shrimp Coctails, and I was thinking, wow! I'll try one next time. Prices are very reasonable, and the food was top notch. If you're in El Paso it's worth eating here. Great food, excellent service, and well worth it. They have a fairly extensive menu with lots to choose from. They also have weekday specials. read more

Ambiance is cool. Best fish tacos I've ever had! And you get to bring your own favorite beer!

This place has a nice casual atmosphere, good prices, and great customer service. I actually think the steak tacos here are awesome - although this is primarily a seafood place. I like that they have fish ceviche and fish soup. read more

I'm leaving 1 stars because the food and drink at Little Shack is really good but the service is terrible. I don't know who is in charge but when you have posted service hours you should follow them. More than 1 occasion the staff have closed more than an hour early , first time we experienced that was ok but it has happened over and over again. Last time we walked in , sat down and was told they where closed ( keep in mind there was people still eating inside the restaurant) Hours posted that day stated they closed 9pm and we arrived at 8pm. We will never attend this business again. I guess owners don't care about their customers if they allow staff to treat paying customers like that. I should also state the we have experienced other customers get turned away wile we were sitting eating so it happens regularly. read more

Love their tacos, fresh! A large variety and the salsa is really good. The seating area is limited but the service is good. read more

Been coming here at least once a week for the past 4 months and it's always a good experience. The food is good and the service is great! I also agree that it's better here than the other Little Shack locations. read more

I really enjoyed the (3) fish tacos, I wasn't expecting fried fish but it was still delicious. Two different types of salsa came with the tacos and I loved both them. I ordered a side of rice and it was pretty tasty as well, the chips and salad where different but really good. The building it's really small it's "sports-bar" type of vibe to it. The place was packed when I get there so I sat at the bar, I'll most definitely come back here again when I am in town. It was a good meal for a really low price! read more

We decided to try fish for the day. We were surprised at how delicious everything was prepared. Plus the service was awesome! We will continue to visit again soon! read more

Food is good and service too as long as you seat inside. If you seat outside make sure you walk in and tell tue servers you will be seating outside or else they will not come out and serve you. read more

What can I say, this place serves great food. I highly recommend the fish tacos, steak tacos, and also the aguachiles in green salsa.

100% recommend the fiesta tacos, the oyster shots, and tostadas!! One of my favorite places to get surf and turf tacos, never disappoints :D

Has some well seasoned Swai Fish Tacos. Has a Shrimp Quesadilla also which actually had Shrimp, unlike California which is 1 piece cut in half. Their Chipotle Mayo is better than most I have tried and their green tomatillo salsa for fish taco. The creamy salsa for the chips can be a little intense...spicy! The waitress was friendly and was not annoyed bringing me glass after glass of iced tea. I would definitely stop by again! read more

Good food, however they are always out of many things,, AND the order take FOREVER to come out!!! It's been a few times and every time it's a LONG wait!!! read more

the server siah who was serving me and my friend took almost an hour to get our drinks our 2 $ tacos ended up being 16 $ tab when we clearly asked her if there was a special... the tacos were dry and the sauce that came with it wasn't really that good.... there wasn't any music playing so it was kinda awkward , she started serving people who came in after us.. we were forced to. sit inside after she forgot about us outside the server she was working with was being more attentive to the customers than she was. The location on the west side is 100% way better and bigger read more

This place is fucken bomb, the adobada taco and the fiesta tacos are fucken orgasmic!!! The Toritos for appetizers.... bro...... it's like the first time you go to tittie club but in food!!!! Awesome place for tacos!!! Highly recommended!!!! read more

This place was recommended to me by my mother in law. I was completely disappointed. The table we sat at had all kinds of food on the floor which completely turned me off I don't know I'm just picky like that. I had the Baja tacos my husband had the steak and shrimp. We also got the calamari. The calamari was a total bust, it was actually really gross I don't know if it was the plate itself or the cheese they sprinkle on top but it smelled horrible like a wet rag. Now my tacos were suppose to be shrimp tacos with bacon and chorizo. I basically got chorizo tacos with cheese and half way cooked bacon. My tacos had no more then 4 pieces of shrimp. My husband's tacos were pretty good way better then mine. read more

Let's start off with the complimentary salsa n chips. Awesome!!! No, really it is a red sauce that will sting you like a scorpion but it is tasty. The tacos are delicious, the most popular taco is the little shack taco but my favorite is the Baja. Ask for it by name. C'mon now bacon, shrimp, chorizo, avocado slice? Do I have your attention now? lol I highly recommend this place, oh and the drinks are on point! For those of you that don't eat meat, they have good stuff for you too. read more

Take out - two soups-shrimp and fish. The worse in taste and luck of preparation. A red liquid with vegetables that have been boiling the whole day, I eat the six tinny, hard, no taste shrimp only. We both taste the other soup with four pieces of hard fish and decided no to eat the rest. Ugly result, had to take antibiotic. read more

The first time I visited Little Shack was on a Sunday at about noon. We were surprised it wasn't busy with the church crowd. We had a large party but the server was very accommodating. I ordered the queso fundido as an appetizer & it was better than any I've had at other Mexican restaurants. I had a manzanita & the steak tacos as my entree. The tacos came with lots of veggies & 3 was the perfect amount for me. Other people in my party went for different versions of the fish or shrimp tacos & everything looked delicious. The lemonade drink they make in house is really really weird. It's so tart that no one wanted to drink it. Same goes for the shaken tea. Avoid these and just get a fountain drink. For dessert I had the best flan ever. It was perfect and had me craving it for weeks. When I finally gave in to that craving it was a busy Friday and I had a completely different service experience. Our appetizer was never made and you could tell the wait staff was overwhelmed. Service was pretty slow as a result. My steak tacos came with nothing on them. The flan was still stellar. I want to love this place but the food and service can be hit and miss. read more
