We've always wanted to try this place, and after I dropped Noah off at practice, I took the plunge…read more We always look to arrive at after 10pm, there's no way you're not waiting in line at that time. I arrived just after 8:30 am, but there was plenty of room. I got seated at the bar, and got to see everything. I asked for coffee, and it came quick and hot. Then i took a look at the menu, but the nice thing about the bar is that you can see everything that was ordered get prepped. I ordered a pozole rojo. It was a good choice, according to me... it was a lot of food. It came with a slice of toasted and buttered bolillo bread. It was loaded with more pork, than hominy - a lot. The server came by to ask if I needed a box. The Junction is a diner, with a railroad ambiance. Plenty of train station themes, I think there were a lot of clocks on the wall - but I don't think that they were working... or that they were on time. I noticed a couple of plates that I would want to try... the chicken fried steak, the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top, peach cobber side, the fresh biscuit with chipotle butter. It all looked good. The breakfast tacos seemed basic, but a lot of folks ordered them - they must know. There is seating inside, table and bar, and outside under the shade. I saw enough that I would return with Liz (...and the kids). I recommend, but I do recommend getting there early. It's a popular locale.

The food doesn't look super fancy, but everything was packed with flavor. The French toast was amazing, the iced coffee was great, and the mimosa was on point. Our waiter was awesome too. We spent around $50 for two people and ordered quite a bit, so I thought that was pretty reasonable. Definitely recommend, just make a reservation because it gets packed!

We have been to this restaurant several times in the past, and have considered it one of our…read morefavorites. Until today. After today, not going back. We are not sure what happened, but the place changed. The old staff (who were relaxed and fun to be around) are all gone, the delicious food we kept returning to have is also gone, replaced by a menu that doesn't know what exactly this restaurant wants to be (tacos, fried chicken, attempt at French menu items, etc). They have 6 different kinds of French toast. We tasted 2 of them, and they have the same taste. Just different toppings. The price for the French toast with eggs, bacon and home fries was $17. Now they charge $18 just for 2 slices of brioche with some sauce that resembles the old Banana Foster sauce, and an additional $6 for the eggs, bacon and home fries. Disappointing, and more expensive than it's worth. Walking into a restaurant to be held hostage by some speech about a small store selling books inside the restaurant?! Yeah, don't do that. If we hadn't already ordered, we would have left. No refill on water, no inquiry about any other drinks. I wasn't even finished with my meal and the server slapped the check on the table and walked away. If that doesn't make you feel "welcome to leave", I don't know what does. Looking around, I find it unacceptable to bring food to the table 5 minutes apart for every person at the table. The staff now wears embroidered shirts with the restaurant logo (except for one, she was just chewing her gum while taking orders- also, ew), and the atmosphere has changed from casual to "we wanna be high end, we made some money so now we want you to pay more". Disappointing.

The owner, Patrick, was personable, adding a special touch to the experience. Excellent food, we had the Fish and Grits and Peach Cobbler Bourbon French Toast - exceptional service, we'll definitely be back and highly recommend La Fête Cafe.

I also loved the vibes and the decor. My only complaint is that it was pretty crowded inside, which made it a little difficult to bring my baby in his infant car seat. Just a little FYI for the moms who are thinking about bringing their little ones! Other than that, I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.

For starters I would say this spot was simply okay. I would bring some friends here for drinks and…read morevibes but I wouldn't come back on my own accord. For starters the atmosphere was so cute. Absolutely loved the bar and hanging pots everywhere. Such a clean restaurant and cute vibe. Our waitress was very nice and friendly to us. So no issues there! For drinks I got their berry lemonade which tasted just like lemon juice. I had to request for sugar to be added since it was so sour so beware. My food had came out and to be honest I'm just a little bit disappointed. The rigatoni was cooked but the sauce for it was really not tasty? Like there was almost not a flavor I can taste. Of course there was something but it was very plain and barely even there. It also was not spicy whatsoever. I added grilled chicken too and oh boy was that dry dry DRY. The burrata personally I'm not a fan in general so of course I wouldn't be a fan this time either but they gave a nice little plate full of it. They added some oiled toasted bread and it was way too crispy in my opinion. My partner got the chicken Parmesan and his dish tasted great! Very juicy chicken and cooked all the way. The sauce was perfect too nice and flavorful and great pairing with the chicken. His butter noodles were just like regular butter noodles so not bad. Finally the crème brûlée. Probably the most disappointing dish we ordered. It took repeated stabs to break the sugar glaze on top. Me and my partner were honestly thinking that they added the cream on top to hide how burnt it was actually. Unfortunately because the glaze was so thick and burnt it made the rest of the cream taste have the burnt flavor. It was sad because my partner was looking forward to this desert. Also took wayyy longer to arrive than our entrées. I will say that the waitress was very helpful and she actually covered the crème Brulé. I didn't even ask she just offered, I think she could tell that we didn't enjoy it and I had nicely told her it wasn't what we were expecting so thank you sincerely. Overall I think this is a perfect spot to maybe try drinks and hang with friends. Food was okay, wouldn't try it again in that regard but overall a decent spot here in El Paso if you're looking for something new. Maybe best to ask what's their best dish to serve. Overall thank you.

The place had a very nice vibe and seemed very popular. Classy decor but casual feel. The enclosed glass wine cooler was amazing to see. The wine glasses.... Well everything in TX is bigger. They were goblets and so pretty. Our server was Viviana, who was very sweet and polite. The bread was so soft and hot. But so much for two people, I felt bad not eating it all. One loaf would have been enough. I ordered a cucumber drink w/o alcohol: SO good. Mango salad with chicken for me. He had steak, lobster tail and a glass of Austin Hope red wine. Food was delicious! Next time we are in El Paso- we're coming back and making reservations to guarantee a seat. Plenty of parking but... people can't see nor pay attention to the faded arrows on the ground showing which way to go. I had to back all the way out of the row back to the entrance because a big 4x4 truck went the wrong way to exit! It was dangerous because of the sharp turn into the parking lot from the steer. Next time we will Find parking on the left side- because some people don't care.
