That was my first time at Ruth's Chris and I left satisfied and happy with how the evening went. I'm in El Paso while on business and my wife was visiting for a week so I had to find a place for Thanksgiving dinner and I'm glad I chose this restaurant. It was very clean and welcoming, the host and servers were very friendly and helpful when it came to the menu. the price to quality of food and preparation was superb. They did have a Thanksgiving Day menu available, but we decided on ordering from the standard menu. I had the ribeye and shrimp and my wife had that fillet minion and shrimp. Both cooked to perfection to the doneness that we wanted and the sides were great as well. We had the stuffed mushrooms as the appetizer and the Caesar salad was so delicious. The night ended with a Pumpkin cheesecake and vanilla bean ice cream that left me wanting seconds. I can't wait to go back and try some more of the dishes and I really appreciate the great customer service.

Had great Saturday night at Ruth's Chris. Our reservation was at 730 and seated promptly after a short wait. Our table was in the main dining area, the mood was nice and relaxed. Lights were dim and music in the background was good jazz. We. All settled on the 3 course for 55 but I upgraded the steak to the 16 oz NY strip rather than the 8 oz. for the meantime, I enjoyed a Ruth's old fashioned which I thought was pretty strong. But I enjoyed the spirits along with good conversation. The 3 course meal consisted of salad, main dish with side, and desert. I opted for a house salad with blue cheese which was a great starter with bread. My plate arrived soon after. A great looking thick steak seared to perfection. First cut released heat and steam and the bite was so delish. Meat was tender and pink juicy and flavorful. I like my meat medium and pink and there was no doubt it was cooked to perfection. My plate came with creamed spinach. I love spinach and this side was a no brainer, very tasty. Later in the evening our desert consisted of a small cheesecake tart with fresh berries. All in all our dinner was a fun affair which lasted almost 3 hours. Delicious food and great service made the evening such a treat.

The food was good. Loved the ambiance. Fit for a fancy dinner. Services were okay. Priced more than Cafe Central. So it's a one time thing for me. There are other places with better prices and quality plates

Came here for the first time with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and service was excellent. I was surprised that we were able to book a reservation last minute, and the we ended up having to change the previous reservation last minute too. They were so accommodating and I am appreciative! I typically like to order entrees I can't easily make myself (like steak), but after reading reviews I just had to try it and didn't want to miss out. Gratefully it ended up being one of the best steaks I've ever had! You won't regret it. It was prepared medium-well, as requested and I enjoyed every bite. My husband likes his well done, but unfortunately his was a little rarer than mine. He opted not to send it back and just ate the "wellest" bites. I docked a star for that! We don't drink, so I can't share about the drink menu. They had a lovely bar and did offer a menu that looked extensive though. Our waitress was kind and attentive. She didn't even write down our order and nailed it! This is a pricier restaurant that I would recommend for special occasions. They gave us complimentary anniversary desserts which was a nice touch. The hostess asked us when we entered if we were celebrating anything special. This location is in a very cute area! There are shops and restaurants below where you can walk and find other sweet treats like cinnamon rolls (cinnaholic is a personal fave), froyo, or donuts if you wanna keep it simple. Enjoy!

19th wedding anniversary dinner in the books! We've been celebrating every year for the last 5 years and Ruth's Chris never disappoints! From the environment to the delicious food to the superb service (Thank you, Marlene!). Dinner is always such a wonderful experience. Thank you all!

Food was incredible. Service was lacking it, I could tell the waitress was ignoring us a bit since we are a couple on the younger side ( little did she know we both work in the service industry). I think its sad when u go out and spend a lot of money on a meal and u are being stereotyped. I would see her skip around us and go to the old folks. It okay though, we still tipped her amazing, hopefully she learned her lesson on stereotyping! Ambiance is nice and romantic, and is amazing for special occasions. The food is never an issue here, the service though can be hit or miss if you don't look the part ( $$).

Consistently delicious. The food is always perfect. The servers are always professional! Ruth's Chris prides themselves on excellence!! Our Valentine's Dinner was perfection; including rose pedals on the table. We did not order the Valentine's special but our meal was very good! And we got a bread pudding to go and it was a delight! I highly recommend!

Outstanding Easter Service from Ivanna G! We had a wonderful Easter dinner at Ruth's Chris El Paso thanks to our amazing server, Ivanna G. She was incredibly attentive-refilling drinks the moment they got low, checking in regularly, and even crumbing the table throughout the meal to keep things tidy. We ordered two Tomahawk steaks, the salmon topped with shrimp, lobster, mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and the mushrooms-every single item was cooked perfectly, presented beautifully, and absolutely delicious. What really stood out was Ivanna's extra care when I mentioned my son's dessert had alcohol in the sauce. Without hesitation, she went to the kitchen to check if it could be made without it--and it could! That kind of service goes above and beyond. Thanks to Ivanna, our Easter dinner was unforgettable. Ruth's Chris is lucky to have her-we'll definitely be back and asking for her again!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The staff was amazing and our server "Eddie"you are awesome

Wecelebrated our 21st anniversary on the 25th and my husband made reservations. As soon as we walked in the hostess was very friendly. As soon as we sat down, the staff had decorated our table with Rose petals, and a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. The appetizer's food, drinks and dessert were beyond five stars. We really appreciate the staff for treating us very special on our special day and accommodated us with champagne and dessert.. We appreciate all of you, a million thanks to our waiter "EDDIE" he was AMAZING!

Came on a rainy day, we were seated in the room with the bar in dark ambiance with candlelight. Service was very very slow and had to wait a long time to order, to get the food and for dessert. Seemed to only be 1 server and the kitchen is on the other side of another room. The whole dinner was almost 3 hours long. We understand that this is a steak house, I don't recommend vegetarians to visit. Some vegetables are cooked with bacon and are not fresh. Macaroni and cheese is too creamy, coworker didn't eat any of it after 1 bite. I suggest more cheese and less cream. I would say the meal tasted good but everything is made with butter and we could feel it when it's digested. I was glad I got to experience Ruth Chris but I don't plan to come back. After long work days, coworkers are not usually looking for extended candlelit dinners.

We have been wanting to make it here for nearly two years, but just haven't had the chance. We've heard such great things about this place! I'll start by saying service was 5/5 stars, more if I could give. Attentive, friendly, helpful with any questions, kept bringing us more and more bread, kept our drinks topped off, and didn't mind we lingered for a while after dinner. The food was overpriced - and I'm not saying that because it's expensive, I'm saying that for the quality (I'm talking more so the sides versus the steak) just wasn't there for the price. I'll pay pretty much whatever for good food, and the steak was worth it - I'd be hesitant to order the Mac and cheese or the Brussels again. The salad was good, but I'd ask for dressing on the side next time because it was drenched in dressing. The crème brûlée was SO good, definitely worth Getting! Overall though we will be back - for a special occasion, but it was a very good dinner!

~We were there for my husband's birthday. We loved that they set the table special for a bday celebration & a personalized bday card & dessert. Our server was polite & attentive. Our salads, steaks & mashed potatoes were delicious!!! The whole experience was great!!!!!!!

This is a new location in El Paso. The restaurant is on the second level of the mall. Parking is free and spaces are available in front of the restaurant, lower level of the mall and shared areas of the second level. The food was very good. The menu is extensive. All dishes for hot meals are served on special heated plates. The dishes are made to order,

Everything is set for a serene and enjoyable experience. The staff were very friendly and personable, and very eager to make your time memorable. We started out by wandering around the facility. They have all kinds of little small rooms that open up into the big area. Each place has a different interesting decor and a different seating arrangement, Some just couches and chairs. Other areas are small tables and then some have larger tables. All are around the perimeter of the larger center area. On our tour around, we came upon a small gift shop with all kinds of cute local wares that you can buy. And in the corner is the bar. It has a tasting station and they allowed us to taste several different wines to determine which one we wanted. We ordered a glass and continued browsing around the area. Once we found where we wanted to sit, they brought us menus, and we chose two different sandwiches, one is the turkey avocado, and the other was vegetable ciabatta both with side salad, rather than potato chips. We also got a starter of a Caprese salad. Other than our meals coming out at different times, which was awkward, the food was very very good. We enjoyed our meal and our wine and we both bought a bottle to go! Around the area, they have card games, board games, and other things that you could amuse yourself with. There was an area with a variety of cigars. But no one was manning it at the time. It appeared that they may have music outside, and there are some tables outdoors where I can imagine on an evening could be a great place to sit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, relaxing, sipping wine, and enjoying lunch/snacks. I definitely recommend this place! The menu is surprisingly creative with tons of vegan and vegetarian choices (and they'll happily modify just about anything). I decided to branch out and try their vegan tamale, and wow -- easily one of the most unique takes I've had! It's served wet style with a rich sauce poured over the top, and it totally worked. Pair that with a glass of their perfectly brewed iced tea and you've got yourself a solid meal. The service was spot-on from start to finish -- several friendly faces checked on our table throughout, which always makes a difference. And bonus points for the little gift shop attached to the restaurant -- it's such a charming touch. Salud really nails that small-town comfort with big flavor and genuine hospitality.

Adjacent to the The Tiki Room, Pearl Divers features a rotating list of oysters from different regions at $3 a pop. We had the chance to try all three oysters that they were featuring for the day and we really enjoyed the palette. The oysters featured might've been limited but they had a major punch to them with flavor. My favorite were the ones that were a bit more briny, truly small but mighty. Your oysters are brought out with the traditional crackers, hot sauce, mignonette sauce, horseradish, and lemons. It was nice for them to all folks the chance to order in any quantity as I'm sure a few folks might be trying oysters for the very first time in a landlocked city. The had a finessed menu featuring carpaccio, tartare, and about ten to fifteen dishes encompassing appetizers to main entrees. We had ordered the carpaccio but it never came out (no biggie, again it was soft opening so we came in with an open mind). Since we got there a bit later in the day, they were out of frites and I am a loyal fan of oysters, frites, and bubbles (wine at the minimum). This just means we'll have to be back. What was most important to me though was the service and how friendly the staff was. We opted to sit at the bar (as one should at an Oyster bar) and be as close to the oyster display as possible. I used to live in New Orleans for a few years so sometimes when it's busier and you're chatting away they'll shuck an extra one to you every so often to try. I'm pretty stoked to see the dining scene continuously elevating and Pearl Divers is a nice rendition. I'll be certain to come back and can't wait to see what a five-star experience is out of their soft opening phase. *** If there is one piece of feedback I'd provide is to have smaller spoons for the mignonette and forks for the oysters. The current sizes are a bit too large and can easily ruin the integrity of the oyster when making sure it's been properly separated and not intact, as well as, not being able to have the right ratio of mignonette sauce for each oyster. The spoon was constantly hitting the mouth of the condiment cup.

One young lady, I imagine she was the hostess, made a displeased face when we walked in, sighed visibly and trotted over to greet us and seat us at a table. Terrible first impression, I have to say. Our server, Trey (hope I spelled it right) was nice, professional, knowledgeable and overall a pleasure. I guess he made the experience more bearable, but not by much. We ordered some appetizers (mozzarella stick, chips and queso, hush puppies and shrimp) that were good. The main dish, the crab fried rice, touted fresh crab in its description. I don't expect the crab to move in my plate to prove it is fresh, but whatever was put on top of the fried rice was not crab, by any definition I have encountered. It seem it was leftover scraped crab from the day's cleaning of the shells, combined with too much pepper. WAY TOO much. The fried rice wasn't any better, could not eat much of it. The onions that were cut with an axe were the proverbial onion on your fried rice. I believe that when restaurants have something to hide, they will over season the food, so the customer can't tell it was not fresh. Very disappointed. This place is not sure what it wants to be : seafood, Southern Louisiana, Korean, Japanese or Chinese. They should pick a theme and stick with it. It's expensive for the quality of the food.
