Just updating with some more pics from yesteryear. Dishes we miss and cooking styles we miss and are sure you could still employ. I miss the grilled and broiled fish and seafood options. Not everyone likes EVERYTHING FRIED. The "NEW" Red Lobster only offers a couple of items grilled today, salmon and shrimp. They don't offer anything broiled anymore. And the fish choices have dwindled to nearly nothing except for Salmon. Made and dressed up different ways. I'm kinda sick of salmon. I want the Flounder back. I'd like some other white fish choices. Other scallop options . Please pass these suggestions along to whomever at the home office needs to hear from customers, about what we crave. And would get us to go dinner more often. this was horrible. and you might be asking why was Red Lobster so bad. My father had ROTTEN COLESLAW,MY MOM HAD SHELLS IN HER CRAB, AND MY SHRIMP HAD NO FAVLOR. when my father reported of the rotten food to our server she said that they leave it in the freezer,than she told my father that she wont charge him for the coleslaw. ONCE WE GOT THE BILL SHE DID. I'll start off by saying that when I first heard about Red Lobster offering a new burger option I was skeptical but I was also intrigued to try it for lunch via curbside take out. I gotta say, their new Wagyu Bacon Cheeseburger with fries was really good and I was not disappointed. Was it the best burger ever - not necessarily, but was it a solid 4 ? On a wonderful date during covid times and Red Lobster didn't disappoint. We started with the lobster dip and it was rich and creamy. The tostadas weren't the greatest. More than a few were soft.. yuk. We each had the maje your own trio. The chili lime shrimp was delicious, the perfect amount of heat. My salmon was cooked perfectly. The coconut shrimp was really good too. I had both types of sangrias and the white sangria came out on top. The sweetness of it was perfect. Our waitress was very attentive too so that made the experience that much more great. read more

Oh dear... I want to start with thanking the Managment Kaesha Ramierz and ther was another manager who assisted us. Kaesha handled our matter nicely and that soothed over our dinner. Bless our waiter who had only been on the job for 4 days. We all have been here at some point, I get it. My whole family is in the service industry but what the on boarding process for hire? Our server should have been shadowed, minimum. Our drinks took just as long as our 25min wait... our bread (which should come automatically) didn't arrive until my father grabbed a manager, my order was wrong! I basically asked for thr Lemon Pepper cran legs and got served garlic. At that point I didn't want to be eating alone if I had returned my very long awaited dish. The bartender was new too... so drink came out uneven and delayed... draft Bert at two glasses of wine. Overall I have to say this, eating together as a family with or hard earned money should be a special commencement through and through. My parents had mentioned how the service was just as bad a year ago! The food was great but the non-service... no way. We will never ever return. Perhaps Red Lobster as a company needs to step up? I don't know what the solution is as far as work which goes but my family and I know our solution, Pelicans or Thirty Five Tavern forever more. It's woth the wait. read more

I took my father & family for lunch around 12 pm yesterday 6/18 to celebrate Father's Day. Since I was covering the bill, after our meals, I asked our waitress about the "10% off for joining rewards " our lovely waitress didn't know how to answer my question & went to ask her manager. The manager came rudely, didn't greet us & began yelling why the 10% wasn't valid for our trasnsaction.. being more than $100. I did NOT have an issue with the discount not being applied, I had an issue with how rudely she spoke to me and my parents without any reason knowing they did not speak English very well. This place was horrible! My daughter had ordered a steak and it looked like a skinny meat patty. It was so dry and cooked beyond recognition. It was burnt on each side and it smelled like a hamburger. My son and myself ordered the create 2 dinner with salmon. His came with garlic scampi which is always delicious and mine was paired with fried scallops which were soggy and flavorless. Our baked potatoes were undercooked and the coleslaw according to my daughter was too "mustardy". My husband ordered the ultimate platter and the entire entree was subpar and not worth the price. Eh, typical Red Lobster... They're pretty much all the same, but what sets them apart is the customer service. At this particular establishment, we had the pleasure of having Nadyne as our waitress. She was cute and friendly and had a bubbly personality. She took very good care of us. I'm sure the cooks at Reb Lobster are bound by strict recipes so the food tastes the same from restaurant to restaurant. I can imagine it being somewhat boring not being able to put a special touch on the menu, but either way, the food was good. There's not much else I can say about this chain restaurant that makes it any different but if you do visit, ask for Nadyne, I'm sure she will make your visit worth your while! So my friend called me yesterday told me that the general manager fired him for letting a father and daughter of around 7 years old share an all you can eat shrimp platter saying the little girl HAD to get her own plate and that they couldn't share and the GM gave him no warnings nor had any write ups. I can probably count the number of time I've been here on one hand. It's definitely NOT a go to place for me, but we had a gift card so my husband and I decided to give it a try. Irma G was absolutely wonderful!! She was very attentive in her service. She made great suggestions for our dinner selections and drinks. My husband had the crab legs with the butter sauce and I had the endless shrimp. I never had to wave her over for an additional round of shrimp. The restaurant staff was great from our initial greeting. Usually I'm cold when we dine ot and usually bring a sweater. I didn't need one, it was actually comfortably. Ugh! I am so frustrated with this Red Lobster. If you don't want to be in the business of offering delivery services like Grubhub and DoorDash, then get out of the business! You can tell that they just don't care. Every single time the food is incorrect, bread is hard, or an appetizer is forgotten. I even referred my sister and her order was wrong and an appetizer was forgotten. When I went in to eat, the plate I received was horrible. Lobster tail was chewy and over cooked. I was offered a refund on part of my meal. Well that never happened. When I called back to let them know, the manager that worked there when I was there had apparently got fired days later. So guess what? Nothing we can do for you. I just wish the service and quality was better looked at. I love seafood and that is why I kept going back. We had rated this establishment 5 stars before COVID-19, after multiple visits. The service was consistently good. As we finally begin to venture out and back into dining inside restaurants (April 2021), I guess I expected the same really good service. There was a wait, which is to be expected on a Friday, and the food was still good, but the service was not, across the board, front end to dining room. I don't normally think of Red Lobster when I think of where I want to spend a birthday celebration in El Paso, but we decided to give it a shot. I took my girlfriend to this location for her birthday and it was a very nice surprise. The restaurant is very clean, and looks new. The staff is friendly and even opened the door for us as we came in. We were quickly seated and given our menus. Our waiter, Benjamin V, came over and gave us a few suggestions about the menu, got our drink order and gave us a few minutes to decide. He was pretty funny, entertaining and really enjoyed his job so it's nice getting someone that likes what they do. He gave us a heads up that the steaks are good especially for a seafood restaurant. Good to know. I decided on the Peach-Bourbon Shrimp with bacon wrapped Scallops. The shrimp were cooked perfectly which is hard to find. The mesquite from the BBQ came out and the bourbon peach sauce was terrific. It wasn't too sweet, and it added the right amount of flavor. Anything with bacon is great and the scallops were no exception. They were cooked perfectly as well so they were tender on the inside The bacon was cooked well and added a great meaty goodness to the dish. I opted for the lobster mashed potatoes which were amazingly rich, with ample lobster pieces and smooth, creamy potatoes. It was a perfect combination. My girlfriend got the Choose your own 3 plate that came with Coconut Shrimp, Fried Shrimp and Crab Stuffed Flounder. The coconut shrimp were sweet, with an even sweeter sauce on the side. They were better without the sauce so thank goodness it was on the side. The fried shrimp were even better with a light batter. They were crunchy without being oily and the crab stuffed flounder was rich, tasty and perfectly cooked. Overall, this plate was also a success. I let the waiter know we were celebrating a birthday and we found out they sing for all birthdays. The good news is they sang really quietly and we got a really tasty scoop of vanilla ice cream covered in raspberry drizzle. It was a great ending to a great meal. This location wasn't busy either so I think it's worth taking the loop over there since the traffic isn't bad either. For a great meal, good service and a nice time, I recommend this location to anyone that likes seafood. read more

He or she would never make it on Chef Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen! My lobster tails? Blah! Was it supposed to be grilled? Well whatever, too much char and the carne from the tail was rather rubbery! The mashed potatoes were good, I just had a teaspoon full since I'm diabetic. Loved the green beans with mushrooms and the shrimp over my steak. The side Cesar Salad was delicious, who can mess that up? The service was a 5 star. I had the endless shrimp, and I must say I was expecting more. The variety of shrimp dishes available is okay, but, save for the pasta dish, they are small and unfulfilling. It really doesn't help that you have to wait quite a while for your next order, it makes you stay in the restaurant more than you would like. The shrimp dishes are good, but not great. The restaurant is very clean and the ambiance is nice, I imagine this is a good place for some after work drinks. For what one pays you think they would put out a decent product. Normally this is my go- to place when I want to have a nice meal and take some time to write. Lately it has been more difficult to feel comfortable there. All the staff is very nice, management too. But I can rarely get my order right from the kitchen. Tonight, I got sweet tea instead of unsweet, I never got rolls until the very end when the waitress was gracious enough to find some I could take home, and the steak was medium instead of medium well. The other issue that seems to be consistent is that the staff needs training about not cleaning under tables around tables or by your table while a customer is eating. It seems like a consistent problem there, that while I am trying to eat they are upturning tables and using the sweeper right by my table. It would be good to teach your staff to wait until customers leave before cleaning up next to them. I sincerely hope these problems can get resolved, because they are very nice people. But the kitchen needs some real improvement and the wait staff a little better customer service training. read more

Our waiter Sergi totally nailed it with his service, I took my wife yesterday to this specific Red Lobster only because it looks better from the outside than the 2 other locations in El Paso, the other 2 locations looks so random, they both look like houses, anyways, we were celebrating our 10th anniversary and Sergi got interested about it, after ordering he said we wanted to make something special for us with our desserts and when he brought them it was written on the plates "Happy 10 years" and "To many more". So my hunny wanted to have an early anniversary dinner seeing how I'm working that day so we decided on this place..mmmmmm mmmmmm Crab Legs here I come. This location is close to our home so we were there for an early dinner and we're quickly seated. My wife opted for the build your platter so she opted for the grilled shrimp skewer and the oven baked white fish with a side of King Crab legs and I went for the Wild Caught Snow Crab dinner...our side salads arrived and like I've mentioned before they are your standard side salad. Our dinner arrived shortly thereafter and mmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmm. I had a smile from ear to ear as I delved into my bounty and my wife enjoyed her plate as well and oh those yummy biscuits arrived nice and hot. Everything was going great till I got to my last crab leg which was one of the biggest and fattest thus the reason it was last but when I tried to pry it's bounty, it was hollow! Ok so what's really going on with Red Lobster? This is supposed to be the best as a seafood restaurant franchise. Went there with the family and things just were not the same as they used to be. Things tasted as if they were right out the freezer or something. They served some fish that honestly look like it was served from a bag of fish stix from Walmat or something. Over the years the quality of service has begun to decline at various locations and not just in El Paso. Red Lobster really needs to get back up on their game. Their policy about not not honoring the military community unless they are active duty is so inappropriate. Veterans should get the same respect and accolades as active duty service members. Veterans we there first so now what? Are we forgotten? Red Lobster was the go to spot but the consensus is definitely starting to turn towards the worst. Shoutout to Demi N.
