I ordered food from Grubhub because I had a gift card and when I was ordering off of the site I was trying to decide if I wanted some of their biscuits. When I looked at the options, it clearly stated that you receive two biscuits with your order, but that I could order more. I was content with getting two and proceeded to order my meal. I ordered the crab linguini Alfredo. I was so excited for this meal, but to my dismay when I received it, there were no biscuits and the portion was very small. I ate the whole meal in one sitting and I'm a fairly small girl. It also had large clumps of crab that weren't incorporated into the dish well. I had to break it apart and mix it into the meal so it tasted better. I'm giving it three stars because I have been to this location before and been content with them, but with their delivery I was not happy. I haven't had a bad experience at Red Lobster. The service is good and so is the food. I normally get one of the pasta dishes and I'm always pleased with it. It's always enough food for two when it comes to the pasta portions. I really like the deal they have now the 4 courses for $14.99. The soup is always yummy. I usually get the Creamy Potato soup. The salad and biscuits are always delicious as well, and the dessert, I normally get the Carmel cheesecake, I dream about that cake every time I eat it. I'm never dissatisfied when I eat at this location. read more

I went for my birthday on Saturday and had only been to the Aiken and Washington Rd. locations. At those, there's a bit of a wait but here, we walked right in and got a table. My only complaint is that the wait for the food was like 15 minutes. It never took that long at the other places. I've heard people complain about how "ghetto" the area is but didn't notice that for myself. The place was clean, spacious and our server was great. The food was fresh and really good. It was very quiet too, but maybe that's because we went around 10 PM. I highly recommend coming here over Washington Rd. read more

Red Lobster has always been one of my favorites. I travel a good bit, and have always been pleased at every Red Lobster I've been to. I was really looking forward to having some great crab legs. This was an unbelievably bad experience. The crab legs were discolored from being over cooked. They were soft to the point that they couldn't be snapped into. I had to split each one with a fork. Even then, they had shrunk up so bad, there was very little meat to get out. I told my waitress this was the worst crab legs I'd ever had. Needless to say, I've made my last visit to this Red Lobster. read more

It's been years since I've been to red lobster. It wasn't that bad. I had the lobster roll and a side salad it was pretty darn good.

I am so upset and disappointed with this location, and even more so I am disgusted with management. I've worked the service industry and I never knew that lying to customers was protocol, but apparently it is at this location! My fiancé and I have a newborn son, only four weeks old. We decided to order online because we obviously didn't have time to go sit down anywhere to eat. We drove all the way to this location, even past the Washington road location because I've always loved this one the best. I made a gigantic mistake. Our order was supposed to be ready by 9:15. They made my fiancé wait inside of the restaurant until 9:40. I went in angrily, having to bring my small son with me which is something I did not want to do. The manager I spoke with acted apologetic, but now I don't by it at all. She told me to give her my email and she'd send me a gift card for the purchase price of my food. I gave it to her and she never emailed me back. I'm so disgusted. I have a lot of family in that area that has family meals there nearly every week and I will not hesitate to share my disappointing experience. To make matters worse my fiancé's steak was over cooked. His potato was over cooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside, and I ordered extra crab meat in my linguine which I didn't get, and I ordered and extra side of French fries and paid for it, but it wasn't put in the bag. We just had a great lunch at the Red Lobster. We were there for the shrimp special. It was made even better by our server Janet. They are fortunate to have her and I hope they appreciate the effort she puts forth. A great attitude combined with a heart for people is rare. Thank you Janet. I'm sure people make mistakes, but I also believe that if I order a particular item from the menu I should receive near perfection or it shouldn't be listed to be ordered. My parents have been going to this red lobster location for many years & I'm sure they might even have profit share within the company. They invited me to red lobster on walton way in Augusta, ga to celebrate my birthday. Long story short; as I was eating fried clams, fish & scallops, I noticed there was a medium length black hair embedded in & under one of my scallops; I immediately told the waitress, which kind of indicated in a joking matter that I had curly black hair. Clearly whom ever prepared the food wasn't wearing the proper hair guards. It's a good thing I didn't eat it & then notice the hair in my mouth. Just so happen, the General Manger named John was at this location & he apologize repeatedly; John removed my meal & my mothers meal from the bill & he provided me with $20 in coupons towards my next visit. I'm hoping red lobster is following the regulation required when handling & preparing food, because when we order food & receive it we expect satisfaction & near perfection; understand I know that we make mistakes, but sometimes there are no room for mistakes when it comes too professionally made foods especially in a restaurant. Never actually got to eat. Arrived at 3:55pm on a Saturday, parking lot less than half full, many clean, empty visible booths and tables and an empty bar. Was told it would be at least a 30 minute wait to be seated. Granted there were 2 large (6+) groups in ahead of us but there was no reason not to offer us a booth or bar seating. read more

Since it's a chain, I don't have anything special to say about the food. Everything was as good as a Red Lobster should be.

Great service the waitress was an awesome server. The food was delicious and the wait time was less than 5 minutes.

You can come in and have a great time great food or you can Come in and have a bad time and okay food hope you go on a good day

Before deciding to eat out here we checked reviews, so this place had a tough standard to meet. The good news is that the restaurant exceeded all expectations. The hostess was prompt and made sure we knew who our server was and the name of the head chef. The server was also highly attentive and the food was excellent and a great value for the price. Customer Service is a huge part of why we go to a restaurant. The last meal ordered in a party of 4 was presented during the appetizer and not with the rest of the meals. Food was repeatedly reached over or handed over others. Just rude. One drink was ordered and never came. Sauces and dips were not offered and when requested were slow coming and sparingly supplied. Our server didn't know what chives are. To many faux pas by one server. Rice was undercooked but crabs were overcooked. Lol. Beautiful disaster. Oh and the dirty bathroom. Nice touch. I've loved Red Lobster since a child. It was one of my favorite places to eat ate being an avid seafood lover. However, over the years I've noticed Red Lobster is now equivalent to many fast-food paced eateries. I went to this location last night craving scallops only to greatly disappointed when my meal arrived. I ordered the Admirals feast and it was nasty. Reminding me of why I hadn't been to Red Lobster in the last 3 years. My 13 year old son was first to complain about his shrimp and french fry meal. The fried shrimp weren't cooked completely. They should have stayed in the grease a few minutes more. The waiter informed the manager who replaced the meal with a chicken finger plate. (By the time it came we were all finished eating and waiting to leave). My meal consisted of fried foods, several of the shrimp were soggy, at first I thought it was the broccoli next to them that caused that problem, not so...the breaded clams and scallops appeared to have been cooked in the oven rather than deep fried. I know everyone is trans fat and fried food conscious but I could have gotten a box of frozen food out the grocery store and gotten the same results for less money. Next, the waiter brought me the check, oops.... I mean receipt. No little booklet, just handed it to me like I had just ordered at McDonalds. Being disgusted with the whole evening I signed the receipt, took mine, and left. When I arrived home it dawned on me my credit card hadn't been returned. I called and they indicated my credit card was left on the table. The waiter handed me the receipts, which means he would have handed me my credit card as well. He didn't though. I live about 20 minutes away and it was already close to closing I told them I'd pick it the next day. After hanging up it dawned on that my credit card could have been compromised. Ordering online only requires the credit card number, and the 3 digit code on the back. I cancelled my credit card. If you're in the area and feel like a little seafood... go to Captain D's or Rhineharts - both are in close proximity to this place. Save some money and get some edible seafood. If you frequent places like Captain George's... this place super suck in comparison. You've been warned. PS... Your food is NOT going to look like the picture .. LOL! PSS... I don't know which Red Lobster in Augusta is worse. Slow service, unprofessional staff that gossip near your table as if you want to be entertained with their drama. The manager was very nonchalant.
