Rooms clean, everything worked, shower drain kind of slow, room had a smoky smell but not overpowering, staff was super, owner was friendly and breakfast was great along with snacks, coffee water in the lobby. They let us park under the canopy due to rain. Restaurant next door was very good.

Dirt spots and krud in tub.

Ewe, I'm pretty disappointed! Dirty place- hair left on the floor, tub not cleaned, poop stain from prior dog, dirty walls, poor lighting, gallon of Jack Daniels, and overflowing garbage cans outside, poop on the lawn, thin walls/floors, coffee ground on the coffee. Small pool and Jacuzzi, staff was not very friendly or informative. We almost left early, but had plans to meet locals...Two stars for the location.

At the trailhead returning from our hike to the Dungeness Spit Lighthouse. My dogs were barking after that 10 mile hike.

Our room was quiet and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the flowers were gorgeous, the hotel has a very nice curb appeal.

Good hotel for a chain. It has everything you need - service, cleanliness, free breakfast, pool, quiet. Easy parking.

I'd give a 4 but our bed frame was so noisy we were praying each time we got in/out or rolled over…read moreit wouldn't collapse! We were in cottage #3 in the middle of the 6 units. Our room was the smallest I believe at $175 a night, kinda pricey but you are facing the awesome bay views and can walk the beach with the stair access right across the street. They allowed dogs $35 per night extra so that was another perk. It was all self contained with kitchen but the fridge was an inconvenient mini fridge yet a full size stove/oven & microwave. The queen bed is also in the small room. Bathroom was tight with no shelves to unpack makeup/personals, no tub just shower. It did have a carport with bench and table/chairs for warmer weather. It did have a huge nice tv although tricky to use. There was a none big lawn area behind the cottages that offered hot tub, toys, bbqs, fire pits and kayaks etc to rent w/ life jackets. We were basically alone for the 4 nights, only saw one staff member on first day. Internet worked fine. They include a kierig w/ k-cups which was nice. I was wishing I'd brought paper plates as they just had 2 heavy ceramic plates but had most basic necessities for cooking and eating, even spices, paper towels, dish and hand soap plus toothbrushes. Overall it was pleasant stay, just tight quarters, a bit pricey and noisy bed.

Although there are many newer, more luxurious, and more amenity-rich properties in Sequim and Dungeness, the simple charm of this property and the kindness of the hosts (John and Karin) keep me coming back. Situated like sets of side-by-side duplexes, the guest rooms are cozy and super clean. There are televisions, free wi-fi, and full kitchens but no telephones. Each cottage has its own parking space and carport for your car and bicycles. There is a pasture behind the property where cows currently graze amid the backdrop of the Olympic mountains. The front of the property are panoramic views of incredible sunsets, the bay, the Dungeness Spit, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, British Columbia, the San Juan Islands, and on and on. There is a nice bbq on the property that's available for guests to share. At night, it's pitch black and dead silent. The beauty of this respite from urban assaults on the senses can take getting used to by folks who have forgotten how magical this type of stillness is. I love nighttime walks with flashlight looking for deer. Deer are everywhere, literally, day and night. John and Karin are excellent resources for places to go and things to do if you're new to the area. They're honest and discriminating and won't steer you to a place just because it's popularly touristy; if it's not good, they'll tell you so and give better recommendations. I love this place!

Our Dragonfly Suite had a nice outdoor area that faced the forest, great for summer evenings. Cozy, comfortable, and luxurious accommodations for sure. We arranged to bring our dog and this was such a perfect place. There was so much acreage to roam around and explore, which made it fun for our big dog and us as well. LML is a truly special place. And the breakfasts--wow. Chef-prepared food with local ingredients. This was a bit of a splurge but I don't think we'll want to stay anywhere else while we're on the peninsula.

My husband handled the booking, so I can't speak to that, but Dwight (the owner) gave us a thorough rundown of the area and gave us some great suggestions for food and hiking when we checked in - no need to spend time researching! ROOM - We stayed in the Creekside room which was fabulous! So spacious, double sinks and shower heads, inviting fireplace and comfortable bed. What more could you ask for?? BREAKFAST - No continental breakfast crap here! How about a 5 star breakfast instead? So filling and tasty with veggies and fruit. You will not leave for a hike crashing. They have several units to choose from, but we chose the "Perch", which was the largest. It didn't disappoint! We didn't even use half the space! Currently, check-in is anytime after 2:00pm. We checked ourselves in and upon entering, found a spacious "home"! Divided by a set of stairs, there is a murphy bed (sleeps 2), bath & shower, dining area and full kitchen to the left. On the dining table was a lovely note addressed to us by the hosts Craig & Michelle, accompanied by a bottle of wine and a bowl of granola bars. Then, in the refrigerator, there was a nicely adjourned box nestled with yogurts, orange juice, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, a small bottle of Prosecco (for mimosas) and chocolate! We turned around and on the kitchen counter was a plate of local pastries! In the room on the other side of the stairs is another bedroom (sleeping 2-3), king bed, full bath and sitting area with coffee maker and coffee pods. Downstairs by the front door is a living room with TV, comfy couch & chair, wet bar, small fridge and washer/dryer! As everyone knows, with a home or business, there will always be times of repair and/or construction. Currently, the upper deck is being repaired, so we weren't able to take advantage of that. Instead, we took a long walk along the water, watched the eagles soar overhead, waved at people passing by and enjoyed the fresh sea air! Eating at local restaurants is always a plus and enjoying wine in the evenings watching the sun lower gently on the horizon out of sight made this trip, along with our fabulous hosts, Craig & Michelle, all worthwhile. Thank you for making our local getaway a special one!
