Cute and kitchy place. I was on the road so I had just had lunch somewhere else but I will plan better next time an grab lunch there someday. I wanted a cherry coke but they were out of cherry syrup so I asked for a huckleberry coke. It was brilliant! Will be back. read more

Red Light Garage - The little Space Ship at the Red Light Garage. - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Wallace, Idaho

What an awesome place. Not only is the food delicious (huckleberry pancakes rock!) the place is a blast from the past, so much to look at on the walls. The owners and staff are so warm and friendly. I could've spent all afternoon with them. My Hubby and I spent the night at the stardust hotel which was clean, comfy and reasonably priced. Next time we are going to try the Hercules inn. The town was amazing and we can't wait to get back there. A must see town! Also to note it's a truck driver friendly. Park the truck across from the rest area and you can walk the whole town! There's even a laundromat!! read more

Yum!! We all had chili dogs after a day of skiing! The chili was great and the hot dog was fantastic! Lots of food for the price and the quirky atmosphere made for a fun end to the day. The milkshakes are super, this will be a regular stop for us!! read more

Red Light Garage - We enjoyed the food at Red Light Garage. - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Wallace, Idaho

Went on a weekday and only one employee who acted as server/hostess/busser. Poor thing! The food was decent, about the level of Denny's but mostly a cute tourist trap. We had biscuits and gravy. They we're tasty and came out quick. We did have to wait to be seated, then waited to have a table cleaned, then waited 15 minutes to place an order. Not the servers fault, someone should have been there to help her! read more

Small....funky and a great place to get some grub. Breakfast, lunch or a shake this place will fill you up and for cheap. I had the 3 taco special for $4. Nothing fancy, just good food and quick service - and plenty to look at. The atmosphere will keep you busy looking for hours! read more

Red Light Garage - Red Light Garage in Wallace - a must stop for breakfast, lunch or a delish huckleberry shake - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Wallace, Idaho

We didn't eat here, but got milkshakes. The huckleberry milkshakes are fantastic! The menu is pretty small but the food seemed good...it's basically all diner food. If I weren't pregnant and super picky at the moment we probably would have ordered food but the menu was so small I just couldn't find anything I wanted to eat. We'll be back in November for milkshakes and I'll definitely order some breakfast! The menu prices are really inexpensive and the decor is awesome. -- - - --- - OK...We got breakfast! We had a pretty big group and the girl was super patient with us. The huckleberry pancakes were good (huge!), but I don't know if they are worth $8 a pancake. The huckleberry syrup just kind of tastes like sugar. We had the Miner's breakfast and it was really good! We don't come to Wallace often because we're all the way over in Seattle, but when we come back to visit family we'll be back. read more

Great place to eat and take in the sights. Inside I mean, so many interesting antiques, license plates and other memorabilia.

Definitely glad we stopped here for breakfast. Really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and chatting with the owner who made us feel very welcomed and well taken care of. read more

Food was OK, standard bar type food. Huckleberry shakes were great. Service was subpar, 60+ minute wait for food and they only had 4 other customers. Hate to be there on a busy day. read more

Friendly owner and the food was OK, but nothing stellar. I had a chicken burritto which I had to dump a ton of hot sauce on to get any flavor (and I'm not usually big on hot sauce). My wife and step-daughter had nachos which were good--I especially liked black olives on the nachos, reminding me of my college days at MSU. The microbrew was good, but don't ask for wine unless you are in the mood for huckleberry wine. Great decor. read more

This is a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch it really has atmosphere and charm. You'll not be disappointed if you stop here. The waitress was friendly and brought us a fresh pot of coffee right away. We had the chicken quesadilla and it was very large I could only eat half of it. Good sized portions and a nice waitress. read more

This place came highly recommended for the food. Unfortunately we never had a chance to try it as the service was so slow and unorganized that we left before even being able to order. We came in on a slow Saturday morning, we were one of only 3 tables of customers in the entire place. The gentleman waiting on us was unorganized. The table had no silverware, we were brought coffee but the table had no cream or sugar, and we had nothing to stir with. We could tell by the pace of service that we would be here for a long time before being helped again so we paid for our untouched coffee and left. We really looked forward to eating here. Don't stop here if you have less than an hour to eat. read more

Red light Garage cute little stop on I-90. Great atmosphere, lots to look at. Enjoyed visit with owner. Staff was friendly and personable. Milk Shake was awesome and made the meal. Disappointed that there were no kid menu or items available since we have a 4 year old. He ordered the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed it so that worked out well. My wife was not completely overjoyed with her burger and the $2 extra for the fries was a little much but at least she enjoyed them. My ATV was ok, the good thing is the pattie is bigger than the bun. Overall would come back for the dessert and the friendly staff. read more

Had breakfast here rather than hotel. That was an excellent call. Bacon rosebuds are a nice touch. Be sure to pose in the spaceship out front. Lots of local flavor, definitely worth a stop. There were five of us, we ordered five different things, and all were good. Also if you have the time check out Wallace's public staircases. read more

Talk about the slowest service I have ever received anywhere. I'm not over exaggerating when I say it took 45min maybe even longer for our food to come out. The bad part is that it wasn't even really that busy for service to be so slow. I ordered egg whites instead of just eggs and the waiter looked at me like I was crazy and replied "that's going to be really difficult." Ummm what...so confused. I believe the meal I ordered comes with two eggs and I barley got one fork full of egg whites for my whole meal. I'll definitely be skipping this place next time we're in town. I'm giving them two stars because my Diet Coke came in a can and I was really craving one. That should answer how my food tasted. read more

This place was really cute! I love small restaurants run by family. This one is run by a couple. The burger was great and I was happy with my first try at Idaho french fries! read more

LOVED this eclectic place! Go for a filling breakfast but go even more for the amazing collection and the small-town welcome. The owners, Jamie and Barbara, introduced themselves and served our meal. The group of regulars, who eat breakfast there three days a week, were also very welcoming and struck up conversation. Barbara gave us sightseeing tips too. The collection of knick-knacks is beyond description and is probably worth quite a lot. You really can't even take it all in! This place was just warm and fun. I hope you stop in for a visit. read more

This place has amazing food! I got the special. Turkey melt with creamy chicken and rice soup. even the leftovers are were awesome I'm not from Idaho and the people made us feel completely at home! plus so much too see on the walls. read more

Love this Place! Traveling to Seattle, asked Siri to find us breakfast and it came up with this place and it was Perfect! Great omelette! Highly Recommend this place! read more

Such a cool spot with great historic decor and friendly staff. Tons of neat license plates all around.

We stopped at this restaurant because of "yelp"! I have used the yelp website where ever we travel and it never disappoints me. This is a great place!!!!! I had the Miner's Breakfast and my husband had an omelet. Both were very good but the "stuff" is the best part. I could have gotten "whip lash" looking all around... up and down....\\right and left.... at all the "stuff" they have. At the time we went it was just the cook and one wait staff and the first thing I said was.... "We are here cause we read about you on "Yelp"! They didn't seem to understand what I was talking about so I gave them a brief explanation. I recommend this place to everyone traveling through Wallace.... before or after going through the Oasis Bordella Museum on Cedar St! read more

Jodene described the entertainment factor well, but the food also deserves a headline. The place is open 7 to 3 daily and is a fun place for a burrito breakfast and a filling place for lunch. My favorite was their beer-soaked brats, but they also make a great taco. Enjoyed a huckleberry shake, not found anywhere else! Proprietors Jamie & Barb endear you to this town, (provide you lots of history, info, and advice) the only entire town in America that's on the National Historic Register. Worth your time! A great value, too. read more

we had burgers and a hot dog and a huckleberry shake: all great. Friendly service, fun environment with tons of stuff hanging from the ceiling (hella dusty). The place looks like an antique Shoppe from the street and if it wasn't for the sign that said "tacos" out front ( and you know, it doesn't seem like a taco place) we would have just passed by. Absolutely worth a stop if you're rolling through Wallace on I-90. read more

This is one of those eccentric places that makes travel interesting. Breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced. This place is in an old garage. Wallace has a historic old red light district so thus the name. Miner's breakfast was 2 eggs, 2 toasts, 2 sausages, 2 bacon strips, diced potatoes, and a slice of fruit for $6.85. read more

Super food, service, atmosphere - love it all! Nick F. Jamie and Barbara and team are super!

Loved the huckleberry shake! Outstanding flavor! My chicken burrito was so much better than at authentic Mexican restaurants!!!!! Atmosphere and service was welcoming! A must while visiting Wallace! read more

I don't care if the special is medical grade cocaine sniffed from the thighs of a Norwegian princess, get the biscuits and gravy anyway. They really are that good. read more

Been coming to this place every year for the last 3 years but only stopped in for huckleberry shakes, never tried the food, which we now realize was a totally bone head mistake. The burgers are really good & the service is excellent!!! Definitely a must try if you're in the area. read more

Came for breakfast. Service was great, food was decent. We were told there was no great breakfast in Wallace by another restaurant, and I'd tend to agree, but this was decent and the decor is worth stopping by for. read more

Great burger and fries! Friendly folks and amazing chocolate malt shake! All in all a wonderful place!

Fun spot. We were on our way to get pizza and saw it on our way. Cute menu, 24 burger choices!! Wait staff were great, two young guys, they weren't real busy but were eager to please so we sat down and gave it a chance. Big tasty burgers. They come with chips, you can order a basket of fries if you'd like. Yummy huckleberry milkshakes, with real berries! Asked for some mayo, he says, "we have fry sauce," how did he know that was what i really wanted? This place is not for hipsters looking for fancy food!!! Just a great little burger joint in neat little town! read more

Great place to check out if you're passing through Wallace. Breakfast is pretty good, but the burrito menu always hits the spot for me. Great place for kids, ice cream, shakes and the like. And for the adults they do some great standards on the porch on Saturdays in the summer along with a nice dinner special. Local beer on draft, and Jamie and Barb are great folks. Small town joints don't get much better than this. read more

Visiting from out of state and we drove an hour and half to visit Wallace based on some recommendations. One person told us to try out Red Light Garage for "the best burger ever". I like going off of local recommendations so there we went. Such a eclectic and funky place. Spaceship in the parking lot, check. License plates on the ceiling, check. Nicknacks in every nook and cranny.... Well you get the picture. Super friendly service. Owners wandering about and asking how things are going. And really good burgers. Hubs got a huckleberry shake that he enjoyed very much. And I got huckleberry pie! It's a big deal because they don't have huckleberry anything in our neck of the union and we've never had it. Sad I know. Especially now that we've tried it. It was delicious warmed with ice cream. Worth every last calorie...and the drive. read more

This is such a colorful, eclectic atmosphere, so fun! My husband and I are fans of huckleberry milkshakes and we have consumed many! This had , far, the best huckleberry milkshake either of us have ever had! Get off the freeway in Wallace, you won't be sorry!! read more

Zero stars: Literally just got coffee (aka americano) there this morning which cost the same as a starbucks coffee and tasted like literal plain water. Id be surprised if any coffee was actually in it. Terrible waste of money. read more

Wouldn't know how the food tasted because we waited for 45 minutes after we ordered and food didn't arrive. Watched everyone who arrived after us get their food. Red headed server kept saying our food was on its way. Finally gave up and left. Worst service ever!!! I am an Idahoan and very disappointed. read more

My kind of place! Had a huckleberry shake with biscuits & gravy for breakfast and a sassy but friendly waitress. Loved the decor.
