BEST PLACE TO GET YOUR GRADUATION SASH CUSTOMIZED! I was immediately greeted by a young female worker upon entering the store. I told her that I was interested in getting my graduation sash customized and she then called Maria over to help me. With patience and kindness, Maria helped me determine the specific placement, font, size, and thread of my embroidery design. We discussed what I wanted and she would then show it to me (such as how the letters look on the computer and with a ruler held against my sash so I can visualize the sizing). I greatly appreciate that she took her time in explaining the details and answering my many questions throughout this process. Sam, the friendly owner, later joined us and our conversation further assured me that I was in good hands with them. The price was definitely reasonable and saved me so much money compared to what my school would have charged had I done it through them. Although I graduate in May, I took my sash in on 3/14 because I wanted to get it done early with enough time before my grad photoshoot in late April. (I also didn't want to deal with the stress of getting it done in April when I knew many students would then flood these embroidery places and cause them to get really busy). I wasn't in a rush to pick up my sash since it was barely mid-March, but they were fast and 2 weeks later later on 3/26, I received a phone call that my sash was ready. I returned to pick it up and it looks amazing! Overall, this place is friendly, fast, and provides awesome customer service! I highly recommend visiting Red Dot for your graduation sash customization! read more

I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to share how great Sam was. I've been calling all around trying to find a place open during this COVID-19 shelter-in-place order, and I was so fortunate to catch Sam in his shop. He told me to bring in my graduation stole/sash same day to get it looked at, and he sent me a proof that same evening, and it was ready for pick up the next morning. That is unbelievable service during this crazy time, and I know he had a huge shipment of 300+ sashes coming in same day. I wanted to embroider a designer weekend bag to celebrate my mom's first Mother's Day as a grandmother of two! I found Red Dot Uniform on Yelp and decided to go there because of their great reviews on Yelp. I definitely wasn't disappointed! Sam was very helpful and explained the process with me and helped me pick out the color and font. He explained to me that the fabric might be challenging but I trusted him with an expensive bag and I'm so happy I did! The embroidery turned out beautiful and he told me it took him 3x as long to do it but he still charged me very reasonably. Sam and his family were so kind. I came in an hour before closing to inquire about having my name embroidered onto a sweater I had, but the owner mentioned he could screen print my name on the sweater instead and that it would be ready quicker. I didn't know it was possible and gladly agreed. He showed me fonts and before I knew it he had printed it out. Very friendly staff and I'm even happier that I get to wear it tomorrow! The lady staff who helped us was friendly and helpful. I had extra uniforms (outgrown) due to a year of zoom with our school. They were new with tags, she was able to help me exchange for larger-size items. It is good to purchase from family-owned, small business owners locally. This place is perfect!…read more I came in and the owner did my graduation sash in literally an hour. My friend also came with me and he finished his in an hour. Upon coming in, you should really contact him if you have any questions. I know it doesn't look amazing outside or inside but the work he does on your sash is amazing! He walks you through the design, what color thread you want and how you want your name, major, to be placed. Then, he would tell you to go outside (a bit weird I know) and he would bring out a print out to show you what it would look like. Once you approve it, you can go out for coffee/lunch and in an hour, it would be ready. Usually it takes a day so keep that in mind if you decide to do it with KMS. I am sure he is busy with other projects so be patient if he takes a bit longer!!! For $7 each patch, its seriously affordable. USC was charging per letter and it was just crazy in terms of price. There are other places that do it for roughly the same price but this place was just closer to me. :P I would say that this place is definitely student-budget friendly. Bonus points if you speak Cantonese because the owner is from Hong Kong and was a bit more opened to me when Cantonese came out of my mouth. Overall, cool guy, good work, and affordable for a college student! I would contact him again if I need anymore embroidery done. :)

I needed to get some uniforms so I decided to try this spot out, called red dot. It was in a really nice location and parking wasn't an issue for us. I was greeted with Sam the owner and let me tell you, his assistance was unmatched. He was there to give us what we need for our uniforms. The employees were also super nice and attentive to our needs. Let's talk about the quality of uniforms, they were excellent and I just loved the fabric. Honestly, the quality is unmatched. The owner Sam and his employees made the entire experience A+++. I wouldn't EVER go anywhere else from now. Finally a store that has everything you need and was just so nice. No one answered when we arrived, despite being told to be there at a specific time. We had driven a long distance to get there, only to be met with complete disregard. The front desk staff was extremely rude. We were told to wait outside -- even though it was already past the opening time we had been given -- and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. In total, it was two hours later than we were originally told they'd be open. I deeply regret choosing Red Dot. Beautiful experience!! I came in last minute & with a busy schedule, Sam over heard me say my daughters game was the next day & he cane over to us! He says... I came in on an emergency but I will take care of it since the lil ones game is tomorrow!! He even let my daughter watch him put her name on the back of her jersey!!! She was so excited. I needed around 200 t-shirts to be silk-screened for an upcoming event in my university club, and not only was I able to receive them in 2 weeks, but they came out spectacularly! The design was centered and the shirts were done according to my specifications. Also, after a couple of washes, the design is still good as new!
