Terrible Customer Service at Lee's Lettering & Embroidery in La Puente…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience at Lee's Lettering & Embroidery on Hacienda Blvd in La Puente. I was purchasing a letterman jacket for my son for $690. When it came time to pay, the employee processed my card, and the machine showed the payment went through as credit. She then wanted to charge me an additional $15 because of how the transaction was processed. I explained that I wasn't going to pay an additional $15 for something I had no control over. Instead of taking responsibility and waiving the charge, she refunded the entire $690, which I now have to wait up to five business days to receive. I even offered to pay cash, but she told me she wasn't going to wait for me to get it and that I would have to call back on Friday. She also informed me that my son's jacket was no longer guaranteed to be ready by the date we had originally agreed upon. What really bothered me was her attitude throughout the entire situation. There was no effort to work with me or find a reasonable solution. I was willing to spend nearly $700 at this business, and instead of showing any appreciation or professionalism, she made us feel like we were the inconvenience. All of this happened because she refused to waive a $15 charge that resulted from how she processed the payment. She would rather lose a $690 sale than resolve a $15 issue. As a father, I wanted this to be a special experience for my son. Getting a letterman jacket is a big accomplishment, and instead of walking out excited about his jacket, we left frustrated and disappointed. Customer service goes a long way, especially when people are spending their hard-earned money. It's not even about the $15 anymore. It's about the principle, the attitude, and how customers are treated. I would not recommend Lee's Lettering & Embroidery based on how my son and I were treated.

I had an exceptional experience with Sam and cannot recommend this business highly enough…read more I had a fire uniform shirt that I desperately needed embroidered by the next day, and not having it done on time would have put me in a difficult situation at work. Sam assured me he could take care of it. While we were talking, he asked if I had a minute and told me to just stand by. He took my sample shirt, duplicated the embroidery, and had me back out the door in about 15 minutes, even though he was already busy. What really stood out to me was not only the quality and speed of the service, but the way Sam treated everyone who walked through the door. While I was waiting, I overheard him helping another customer who was having trouble deciding what size uniforms to get for her kids. Instead of simply telling her what to buy, he suggested she take a couple of different sizes home to have her kids try them on and bring back whichever ones didn't work. That kind of customer service says a lot about a business. This place has that old school, neighborhood, business feel where people genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. It's becoming increasingly rare, and it's refreshing to see. Sam went above and beyond for me when I was in a bind and, honestly, saved my ass. Fast, professional, accommodating, and genuinely customer focused. I highly recommend this place and will absolutely be back.

After the mock up was sent to me for approval, I noticed a smelling mistake on the shirt (my fault). They corrected the spelling error and stayed in constant communication with me.
