Have used this moving company previously and had good success 2 years ago and everything was done well. I cannot say the same for this most recent move, while there was communication on both ends the work was not done well and some of our belongings were left damaged. My parents hired these fellas to move their things from a two bedroom townhome in a retirement village to a slightly smaller ground floor two bedroom apartment in a different community. The place was kind of chaos when they arrived but they were respectful, efficient and kind. They got everything out quickly including taking down and transporting a large heavy tv. In the new place, they had the bed set up and ready to go and had placed the boxes in a way that left room to move around. We needed some furnishings moved from the second floor of two story condo that has a spiral staircase. The items included a very large dresser and a queen size bed. Red Carpet Movers did a GREAT job quickly and safely moving these items for us despite the difficulties regarding the staircase. These guys are AMAZING! Originally I had planned to use Bellhops because I had a coupon, but so happy I changed to using Brian and red carpet movers. They set me up quick with a quote for 4.5hrs and the code was around $450-$500. Bellhops was quoting me at closer to $650 for fewer time. Brian and Jose were timing, professional and a true pleasure to work with. They handled everything with care and even maneuvered around crazy street construction at my new apartment with ease. I hired them for a cross country move from Texas to Colorado, and had major issues with them moving my baby grand piano. They agreed to move it, and I advised them of the one flight of stairs at my destination. On move day, the two movers who showed up appeared surprised and unprepared for the piano, had to call their boss to get help to disassemble and load it, and the owner told me they couldn't move it up a flight of stairs. I referenced the emails which showed I told them about the flight of stairs, and the piano, and he tried to put it back on me because I had booked months ago and provided the information on the flight of stairs when I received it, after I signed my lease- well in advance of the move date. Their booking person said it was fine for me to give them more details once I got it. When the movers got to Colorado, the owner said he had to hire two local Colorado movers to help them get it up the stairs, and said he could either charge me $500 or put it in my garage. He said he couldn't take this hit as a business owner, and passed on the cost to me, for his company's error. I wish I could give a better review, as the movers themselves were excellent, but the whole debacle with moving my piano is completely unacceptable, and the unprofessional response was really disappointing. read more

Wow. Where to begin. I've moved 6 times and used a number of companies that are "ok", but Red Carpet Movers has completely raised the bar for me, for a number of reasons. 1) They were on time (even a few minutes early!) 2) clean cut staff that were dressed nicer than I was 3) friendly staff. I've had movers who were so rude or uninterested in the past that just asking them simple questions made me feel uncomfortable. Not these guys! 4) Quick & efficient 5) Involved with many charity organizations 6) Beyond competitive pricing. I would certainly have paid more just based on their professionalism. As crazy as this sounds, I would actually plan my move around their availability. They are THAT good. I just wish I had found them sooner. read more

The only reason I'm giving this company 1 star is because the guys that came to help were so nice and helped a lot. I had an Arrival time from 12-3 pm. Then, I got a call at 3 pm saying they were going to be late. They said the job before took a long time, so you think they could've let me know before 3 pm that they were going to be late because I had been waiting for them since 12. When a whole day is planned around them being on time, it's very frustrating when communication lacks. I tried calling 6 or 7 times from 12-3 to confirm the time and did not get one answer. Instead, the guy called me at 3 after they were already late to tell me they were going to be late. Like yeah, I can see that they're not even here. This is not a reliable service and they're disorganization is the reason for the very low rating. Also, the excuses they tried to give did not help. Use another company. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I never leave reviews, but I feel like I have to share our HORRIBLE experience with Red Carpet. After coming to our home to give us a quote, we booked them for our move. The Sunday morning we had to be out of our house, they called and canceled...10 minutes before they were supposed to show up. They called from a blocked number and never got back to us after that and dodged all of our phone calls afterward. We were left to scramble to find someone to move us the same day, on a Sunday. Thankfully, AB Moving was able to do it, and they did a great job. We never heard from anyone at Red Carpet again...we're still in shock at how this was handled. I would stay away!! read more

We have called Red Carpet Movers to move furniture from onsite storage into our home. Lee and Jose were very impressive in how fast they moved the furniture. They were also very carefully with all pieces and cautious of the walls, floors and door frames. A big plus was that they could come on the weekend I needed them which I really appreciated because we had to rush this move! And the office staff is very friendly and helpful. We recently had the pleasure of doing business with Brian and Red Carpet Movers. First things first, these guys are 5 stars all the way. We moved from Denton to Pensacola FL and it wasn't a small move. Everything that was promised was delivered on and thank you so much for taking the worry out of this part of our transition. Not only did they help us with the move they also partner with CCA and came and picked up a load of donations to take to them. I'll keep it brief - I think if you're moving 3 bedrooms or less, within a two hour driving distance you'll be okay. I think they're good people but for our move (5 bedroom - halfway across the country, two trucks), they either grossly underestimated the man-power required, or they're just poorly organized and missing follow-through. I have damage to my dining room table that was never reimbursed (we moved in July 2016) so if there's damage during your move, though they claim to have all the insurance you'll need, you may not benefit from it. read more

I have found my moving company! I had to move some furniture from way up in North Dallas to way down in South Oak Cliff. Not a very long distance, but these are all glass items and having heard horror stories about moving companies, I was really worried. As soon as the Red Carpet Movers truck pulled up, my worries faded away. A spotless truck being driven by a smiling, sincere driver, Brian. I was greeted with a confident handshake and he went straight to work. The way my precious glass display cases were carried and padded and strapped securely was exactly how I would have done it had I owned a truck and all those supplies. I am so impressed! Worse move ever! 2 hours late arriving w/o even a phone call to say they were going to be late. Very slow. Charged for every piece of wrapping paper, tissue paper, etc. and also charged travel time and by the hour. My estimated rate of approximately $650 ended up being over $1000. I have never had a move that was so time consuming and expensive. read more
