We felt really good about the security and cleanliness of the units (all climate controlled) and the facility overall (the Plano location was only built a couple of years ago and it's super clean). Plus the ease of being able to drive up so close to the units. We worked with Wendy and she's been so kind and helpful and informative through the entire process. I did a lot of research and this place was definitely the right choice. We really appreciated that All Storage had a great intro special but that Wendy was also super up front about what the pricing would be after the special ended. Our close friends had a horrible experience with one of the bigger chain storage places hiking their rent up by insane amounts after the initial first month offer, and that's why we wanted to find a more locally run place. Wendy walked us through everything and went over what we could realistically expect in terms of pricing and it was all very reasonable. She went above and beyond in ways she didn't have to and we really apprecaited it. It ended up being harder than I thought it would be to find a clean, secure, affordable and trustworthy storage place, and so I wanted to make sure to write a review for All Storage in case it can help out someone else who's in the same boat. Several didn't have 10x15's, and one had no climate control at all... Then at 5:15PM, I got beyond lucky!!! The phone was answered by a friendly, helpful woman named Virginia! They had one! ANNNND the price was $50 lower than any other place I have looked!!! She told me they closed at 6:00 but would love for me to come by if I could do so within the hour- i told her I would be there in 10 minutes! She asked my name and gave me great directions (she said I would need to turn into the same parking lot as Sonic.) Due to this, they are not highly visible from the road- this is why I have never noticed it there. The moment I walked in the office she smiled and identified me by name! She took me to see the unit and told me all the benefits of storing there! I don't even know where to start... She and her husband live on property, the facility is immaculate/clean, cameras, normally climate control is not exactly cool- it was here!! Roof leaks are a concern I asked about- I was told they just had a new roof put on! The entire time, we chatted like old friends. What a lovely lady! We then returned to the office so I could fill out paperwork and pay. Her husband Chris walked out and introduced himself. He started telling me additional information about the property. All I can say is this couple is such an asset to this property! How rare to find people so professional, friendly, and have a sincere passion about their job/the property they represent! He went to my unit right then to take the temporary lock off. Keep in mind it is now after 6:00- that didn't seem to bother Virginia, she told me we needed to go put my lock on and test my code to the security gate to ensure it worked- I felt bad and suggested I come back but she insisted! All I can say is WOW! Amazing how the professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness of these two individuals turned what was becoming the move from Hell into such a great experience!

She's the epitome of going the extra mile. I had a major injury last summer, spent 7 days in the hospital, and couldn't walk or work for six months. During that time, my rent was raised. When I called, the young man I spoke with was cold and abrupt. Now, less than a year later I'm still trying to get back on my feet financially. I'm a teacher and my summer pay is being impacted by my temporary leave without pay from the accident. I owe thousands of dollars in hospital bills and my storage unit rent has been raised yet again! It's gone from 70 something to $113 per month in a year! If I were able to clean it out and get out, I would. In fairness, the facility is nice and secure. The elevators are big and make it easy to move things up and down the levels.

First -The elevators are absolutely DISGUSTING- when this place when being ran by Storage Choice the building was always kept clean and pristine, over the past two ownership changes the one thing that stayed consistent was the level of filthy and disgust. Define disgust? Roaches both dead and alive everywhere at the entrance one evening when I went to drop off holiday decor, I was so repulsed and upset that I immediately turned around and left with everything I was supposed to drop off because I had no desire to have my belongings infested with roaches! When this place was run by Storage Choice I never once in 6 years saw pests or roaches so I called the 800 number since no-one was ever in the office and left a requested call back from someone along with my concerns. Floors regularly look gross and full of micro debris from normal daily activities like moving things in and out of the facility, unfortunately when the floors are never swept, or cleaned to remove mud, gunk and spills all that stuff accumulates on floors and gathers in corners and along the edges of the walls. Back elevator is regularly disgusting for which I use alcohol pads to press the buttons until I can find another facility to move to. Keep reading. Then I started noticing little bugs in my unit dead on top of storage containers and throughout the floor, I pretty sure they aren't having proper pest control service inside or out because just a few days ago there was a literal army of insects lined along the front glass entrance doors. I made a call about this once before already because I constantly am getting bit by something every time I come to the storage facility lately. Yes I will be emailing corporate again about this but at the very least until these ignored issues get addressed I could warn anyone who might be considering this place for storage rental. It's disappointing that after a decade of renting at this location the decline over ownerships has left so much to be desired that a loyal customer and tenant will be taking my business elsewhere.
