Although they were so far away from me, I was worry-free. A3 is so clean and safe, and Melanie so responsive. My only regret: I knew that it would be unlikely I'd find such great storage and management again. Friends kept telling me horror stories about chain storage facilities which increase prices unexpectedly and repeatedly. And the ones I toured had poor security and/or were dirty. (Thank goodness I finally found another locally managed facility, though not quite up to A3's standard: Melanie spoiled me!) Should you need clean, climate-controlled storage with easy access, decent lighting, and excellent management close to downtown Dallas, this is your place.

I rented a unit from Alicia 3 months ago w/ a special 50% off first 2 months rent. I was unhappy with the cleanliness of the facility, very dusty inside the units and trash is scattered throughout the property but given the location and special I was offered I decided to ignore the red flags. Now, Alicia (property manager) has been texting my personal cell phone #. Borderline harassment, about wanting to be "be friends" and "hang out". Pretty strange for a property manager to invite a tenant to the onsite property to " hangout". I declined over and over and brought my wife w me to the storage facility because she needed to grab a few items for our newborn she had packed away. Alicia saw us at my unit I am renting and evidently wasn't happy about it. A day goes by and i receive text messages from Alicia talking about how angry she is about me having a wife???? Crazy right! So i saved all the messages seeing how unstable the management is here. So basically now, I have a bill that is NOT part of our agreement. She did NOT apply my 50% discount. She is charging FULL price and ridiculous fees. I have complained to countless employees at security self storage just to get runarounds. I will call you backs etc.... WARNING......be advised about my current situation. This company allows this type of behavior from managers that live ON-SITE. Hopefully nobody has to experience what my wife and I are going through.

I was also told the property manager was on-site during access hours. Honestly, nothing said to me by Public Storage was true. The metal shed that is this facility (even indoors) was about 150 degrees (not good for furniture and art). There was no property manager anywhere. Had trouble getting in the gate, finding the elevator, and the unit. Phone number just went to answering machine. I left multiple messages because I was on the clock with movers. No one answered. Corporate gave me some other "personal" number for the manager, which just went right back to the answering machine. Now I have to spend more time and money to find a new facility that meets my needs, and move everything again. Do yourself a favor and run from this place and this company!

This company is the definition of bait-and-switch: lure customers in with low rates, then double them once you're locked in. It's greedy, predatory, and shameless.
