There is no line, the flat rate box is cost effective. The service is great. She is attentive to make sure the address was correct.

I LOVE this place! I've been coming here at least two years, and honestly, I cannot think of a "bad" encounter. Every employee I've dealt with has been pleasant, efficient and accurate. They will make friendly small talk while remaining focused on the task at hand. I've never had a problem with package delivery, but I can imagine their customer service would be outstanding! I went in to drop off a prepaid package. I needed 1 strap of tape over the top of the box and to tape the label on. Darrell Blank the owner told me that would be $1 to do that...I pulled out my wallet and then changed my mind and walked out. Nickle and diming me over $1 was more important than earning my business long term. I actually went back in to ask if he was the owner or an employee when he gave me his card. I told him that's a petty thing to charge, and he asked if I own my own business. Which I do, and nickle and diming is NOT what I do to my customers. If you need to justify making $1 (minus credit card fees) as the way to keep your business afloat, maybe you need to reassess you business skill set. I promptly went to another UPS store which was on my way to where I was going. It was UPS Store #5168 in the Colony. They took my package with a smile, attached the label and put an extra strap of tape across the top. And in the picture I've attached you'll see they even gave me coupons. Darrell, this is customer service and how you bring in repeat business. This is how you don't have to stress about making $1 to 'offset' your costs of doing business. You seem like a nice guy in all honesty, but nickle and diming is a fast way to run off repeat business. Read a book called 'Give'Em the Pickle' by Bob Farrell. Might help your business out in the long run. I hope you change this policy for your sake. read more

The UPS Store - This UPS Store wanted to charge $1 for tape on a label. Not the store that gave me this receipt. - Shipping Centers Near Me - Carrollton, Texas

This is not a review of this store, but of UPS delivery in general. Apparently drivers will record "delivery attempted" when they have a) run out of time b) too lazy or too hot and do not wish to make the delivery or c) for reasons unknown. I pay for delivery and then because they choose to not make the delivery they claim "delivery attempted" (to my house with zero obstructions at 3:05 PM when I was outside sitting on the porch enjoying the day) I had to pick my package up at a cvs. I will swear in court, on a Bible, that nary a single UPS drove past the house at any time even remotely close to the reported time. In other words, the report of "delivery attempted" was a complete and total lie. I pay for delivery. Amazon, FedEx and USPS seem to not have any issues delivering. According to the CVS employee this is a frequent complaint about UPS. read more

Nickel and diming is horrible here. They was asked to pay $1 for a piece of tape to ship I box I brought in full prepped with a pre-paid tag. They will tell you this is the policy, but I've literally shipped 10+ packages at this location without being charge for tape. The owner scoff at my rebuke of his policy. UPS Stores are a dime a dozen. They're everywhere, this one just happens to be right down the street. I will never visit this location again due to his horrible customer service. read more

Nickel and diming is the way this UPS location seems to operate. We have visited this store in the past to return amazon packages. The owner created a policy of charging $1 to print the label provided by Amazon. All other UPS stores i have visited do not charge this fee. Walked out as I refuse to spend money on something that is not charged at other UPS locations. Today, I had to print documents. I remembered the UPS commercials so I went in to get those printed. The documents are on my phone. I was given lengthy instructions to get my documents printed. In December 2019, they don't have 'air printing' available. I would have to logon to their computer, at a per minute charge. By the way, there is minimum $2 charge. Any option to email the document to have it printed was unavailable. I will avoid using this UPS location in the future. I emailed Staples the documents. They were ready when I arrived. Stellar customer service from Staples. read more

I went in today with a bag of items for their shred bin. I paid, and was then told that the bins were full, but I could leave it laying around until the truck arrived. There was a shred it yourself option, but the machine was covered and the patter from the clerk kept implying that the shred it yourself bin might also be full. "Secure" document destruction shouldn't include leaving the documents unsecured until the truck arrives. Good customer service doesn't involve charging the customer for a service you can't provide. I'll find another place to take my shredding. read more

Twice in a row I received bad customer service. I asked questions about cost and why I have to show id, the rep was impatient and condescending. There is no need to be rude. They only treat people with respect who spend a lot of money at their store. If I am delivering prepaid Amazon package, they are nice. I will start using the USPS for all my mailing needs going forward. read more

I never in a million years thought I'd write a review for a UPS store. However I am proud to do it for this one. Long story short I procrastinated in sending gifts home to Chicago. Turns out procrastination may work in college but not with holiday package sending. Despite this being their busy season they went above and beyond to ensure I got the best rate possible while getting my gifts home on time. I got extremely high quality service and customer care at this store. I came in with a fairly complex problem in shipping and back shipping that Darrel solved easily, giving me choices on price options. Later, trying to track the package, I lost the receipt. Darrel was able to pull up my purchase and give me the information I wanted. I was impressed by the care he took to make sure all the details were correct and there was no slip up. I sometimes have to drop off a lot of UPS boxes and Darryl always greets with a smile and even helps me to unload my trunk! He's super nice and courteous and even gave me the number to his chiropractor when we were talking about back pain. Great guy!
