I tried to drop off 10 packages that already had UPS labels on them and I was informed that it's store policy that this store no longer accepts more than five drop off packages. To be clear, the gentleman was polite but this rule is stupid. This store was empty and he was sitting watching videos on his phone. I understand that this is probably a franchise location but this is absolutely ridiculous and I won't come back the next time I need printing or something shipped. I recommend this business if you are dealing with Trey or the older gentleman. I come here all the time to return packages. But today I got a young guy who was rude and disrespectful. I entered the store and he said Hi, how ya doing? Package on the scale. I said Fine and put the package on the scale. He said, Code. I show him a code and he scans it. After he scans it he asks which code is for which package and I told him if he would have clearly communicated that to me in complete sentence or allowed me to explain first that wouldn't have been an issue. He told me that I needed to fix my attitude. I was confused like what?!?! So, it seems since he didn't hear me when I said Fine to his response that it was ok in his book to act that way. Trey and the other gentleman are always wonderful. As long as you get one of them or speak in a loud enough voice for the young guy,you should be good to go. SMH read more

I would not recommend this UPS store location. I tried to ship an apple product off here and they were clueless on how to do it. "Bob" aka "William" tried to tell me that I needed a QR code and if i didn't have that, there was nothing he could do. Not true, all you need is a repair ID. There is no way I would ever come back to this sh@thole location. Poor management and lack of training. There are plenty of other locations to go to. read more

To print their own shipment label at their store charges customer $4.88? What the hell they are thinking about. I already paid for my label and when I told the guy "that expensive? " the clerk said " yeah coz it's UPS" what a service? I called UPS and they said all these UPS stores are owned by different individual companies, technically that means they are just franchise. So they charge whatever and UPS has no control over it. And yes, some other UPS stores don't charge printing fee (specifying UPS label that we already paid for), so you have a choice to go another UPS store for a free print out, or go to this one to pay $5 and enjoy "UPS" service. read more

because of my prime membership....I am a frequent visitor of this location to return all of my ridiculous amazon late night impulse buys. it's convenient because amazon provides a UPS label for free, I can print and tape it to any package (box, envelope, etc) and just take it to UPS to return for free. I usually like to pack up and label everything myself, just to be sure that everything is included and it's secure. but UPS does help you pack up your stuff if you don't have the time or packing materials. it's super quick! go in, have them scan and weigh the package, and i'm done. they give you a receipt and i'm usually in and out within minutes. The people working don't usually say much since they see that it's a return. not super chatty or friendly. they just do what needs to be done and let you go. read more

Dropped off a package two days ago the big guy ringing me up asked what was in the package I told him collectible Coca-cola bottle right after I told him I got a sick feeling in my gut. Today the receiver of the package called me the box arrived empty completely empty !! UPS was the only people in possession of the package they opened it up and stole the contents! These guys working there need to be brought up on charges ! I will never use this UPS store again and putting UPS as a last resort on all future shipments. read more

One of the employees, I never got his name, talked about a great fried chicken place in Louisiana. I'll never forget that place nor the people in this store, they seem to know me quite well now. I went to this location today to have three documents notarized. Keep in mind I have been to this location for number of years at least twice a year for the same service. There appeared to be a new owner/Notarial. He started off didn't even say hello how are you doing, just "can I see your ID" he then proceeded to tell me that it's $10 per signature. And my response was when did it go up, because it's always been $7. His response to me was "no it's never been $7" and of course I went back after I got home and looked at my previous charges and they were in fact, $7. Granted it had been about six months since I went last. . Nonethless he looked at me and he said "do you want me to do this or not?" He was extremely rude, I told him I was the customer and he should not be so rude. He just simply said again "do you want it or not?" I will never go back to this location again. As an owner of a business small business myself, I would never treat anyone in the manner that he treated me. When when I paid him his $30, he just gave me the receipt and didn't say thank you bye kiss my foot, nothing. Not very impressive as an owner of a small business in my opinion. read more

My wife and I, currently on a road trip in Central Texas, asked our daughter to forward our mail to us at Choke Canyon State Park. Unfortunately, this UPS store couldn't locate the park headquarters in their system (even after correct address to park headquarters was provided). Secondly, UPS and/or this store's policy prevented them from shipping the box because it contained a leather holster custom-made for my CZ 2075 RAMI. As a United States Coast Guard veteran (honorably discharged), Texas LTC card holder, and staunch proponent of our 2nd amendment, I find it absolutely offensive that a piece of "stitched cowhide" is targeted by the nonsensical left. Moreover, my daughter was placed in the middle of this anti-2nd amendment politicking unbeknownst to me and my wife. My daughter called me from the store, and I was just flabbergasted at the policy being stated to me over speaker phone. Had I not stated the content of the box, the piece of leather would be on its way. But would it even make it here? Who knows? All I know is that the assault on law abiding firearm owners is front and center like never before. And just for the record: No scopes either! I recently loss my mother and have many documents to be notarized. I usually come in this store with tears. Pedro, the notary, was always nice, polite, funny, and showed compassion. He doesn't even know me. I really appreciate Pedro making this process easier for me. The last time I was there with documents, Pedro notarized them and didn't charge me. Honestly, I hate leaving negative reviews and this is going to be the most negative review I've ever written in my life but it's well deserved at this point. I have visited this UPS location several times and each time, no matter the time of day or night, the staff is always in the back of the store having very loud personal conversations and ignoring customers. If you've ever seen the Chappelle Show skit "Pop Copy", you will be convinced that Dave himself must have modeled it after this UPS location. The front door has a bell to let them know when someone comes inside and you would think they would cease said inappropriate conversations and acknowledge customers but no, every single time, no matter how many customers, it takes them a bit of time to emerge from the back to do what they clocked in to do that day. When they do finally emerge, the contempt and annoyance just radiates off of them. Yes, I said "them" because it is not just one employee that does this or behaves this way, I have experienced 3 different employees and all of them behave the same way. Young black guy, hispanic guy, and black woman, all the same united efforts to help as little as little as possible. God forbid you need help or to ask a question, they will act like it's the biggest inconvenience. I have actually been berated at this location for not knowing that wifi wasn't offered and for not being aware that you needed to use a debit card to use it. I never even argued or yelled back, I simply finished the task and left, almost in tears. This was on my very first day visiting the store and nobody told me this info so of course when I asked I was not expecting to have eyes rolling and a whole speech about the wifi like I work there and should have known this. I probably would have been able to ask the question sooner had the guy helping me not kept going back to the back of the store with his coworker who was on break instead of assisting me. Before I could ask any questions, he was back to talking to his coworker away from view. It's so bad here that I often avoid it because I hate how garbage I feel when I have to deal with the staff here which sucks because my employer, a politician in the area (who I have not told about how horribly I get treated every single time I come here to send mail for him), insists on using this location since it's so close but the post office really isn't much further away and at least they don't yell at their customers or treat paying people like an inconvenience. Looks like this will be our last month with a mail box and using any of the services here and I will make sure everyone else we do business with follows suit. Nobody deserves this type of treatment, especially when you're literally paying for abuse. For the 5 minute weekly visits I feel forced to have here, I should not feel so horrible when I leave a location but not being able to ask questions, not being assisted, asking for a package and the employees refusing to even look to make sure none arrived (several times and different employees have done this even after I explain it's impossible for me to know WHEN the package should arrive because its legal documentation sent by the government), having to wait patiently while employees ignore customers to have inappropriate personal conversations out of view, and having to hear sighs and see eyes rolling when all you said was "hi, I just need to send this" is unacceptable all around especially considering I am never rude, my visits are quick, and I have seen them treat others the same way regardless. I am convinced no customer service training or experience is required to work at this location and the owner must be equally terrible since the staff acts as though they're being held there against their will when you require that they do their job. I can only assume the lack of recent reviews are because nobody uses this location for the same reasons I listed or people are scared to leave reviews because they may do frequent business here and don't want to exacerbate the abuse they probably endure with each visit anyway. Either way, this is not how business should be conducted ever. The way I've been treated and the way I've seen them ignore and treat others is so deplorable it's a wonder this location is still open and operating under the same owner who clearly is not aware of how off putting all of this is for several reasons. No wonder this location is often empty even though it's conveniently located. UPS needs to seriously reconsider who they allow to franchise because I've never had an issue with the company as a whole but this location could disappear into the depths of this earth and it would be doing the city of Carrollton a long overdue favor. I won't ever go back unless I see a bright banner saying "under new management" hanging on the door. Until then, I'll just tell everyone I know why they should move their business needs elsewhere. read more

The Customer Service is amazing. The people who work there no what they are doing and are so well trained. They helped me pick out business cards for my business also gave me great input on font size for lettering and the best type of paper to use. Reggie did an outstanding job so did Pedro. Bob and his team always provide great service but I must tell you about my recent experience. I moved my 90 year old Mom from Independent Living to Assisted Living and she had many items to dispose of. My brother in Massachusetts wanted her complete set of Butterfly Meadows dishes. I took them to this UPS store and they packed and boxed the over 100 pieces and shipped them to my brother. When he opened the box, none of the pieces were broken. He was amazed at the excellent wrapping job they did on each piece. My thanks to the great team at this UPS store that I have been using for many years. Keep up the great work!!! read more

It's the busiest time of the year and I came in with N armload of boxes. Pedro and Bob are very helpful in the store. After leaving, when I realized I screwed up the shipping address, I called the store for help. They were ON IT! Pedro called me back the first day to let me know the change was made. Then Bob called me back the NEXT DAY to let me know that there was an attempt to deliver the packages, but I (again) screwed up the instructions. I took an item to this store and needed to email them to have the shipping label printed off there. Every UPS store I have been to has an email you can send it to and they charge you to print the label there. I was told they wouldn't do it/ can't do it. Either the lady was too lazy to do it or that store some how doesn't have the ability to print a shipping label. It was very poor service and the lady was not helpful at all. So now I have to go to another UPS store to ship my item. read more

I have been a customer at this location for many years. Bob, the owner and his team go way out of their way to help me out. The location is less like a post office, and more like a secratary. They will process my mail, pack and ship items for me, track my packages, make copies for me, receive and hold my packages for me, and most importantly to me, they will forward my mail to where ever in the country I might be. I work in Plano, and I refer customers to Bob all the time. read more

I went there with a friend today and wanted to purchase a greeting card. The back of the greeting card read $2.99 but the cash register kept ringing it up as $3.78. The cashier kept trying to change the price (even without me asking) and then another employee told her that their boss said that whatever the card rings up as is the price. I thought that was pretty ridiculous since every other store I've ever been to does not up charge the cards. This honestly sounded like whoever is in charge is lazy and doesn't want to worry about changing the price on the system. Not interested in ever doing business with them again. read more

I had a mass mailing to send of 60 some packages. I went to FedEx first and was told that they did not have the time for me and that I should create a account and do all of the labels myself. I even offered to do them 5 at a time so they could take care of other customers in between. This was after I had carried the three boxes into FedEx-did I mention I'm 8 months pregnant? I went to The UPS Store and they helped me carry in the boxes and had me leave the packages with my information and they processed them and then called and got my credit card from me. I was able to come back to the office and work and cross a major project off my to do before baby list. Major kudos to the crew there for finding a way to take care of the customer! read more

This location has the most unprofessional and non customer service oriented management and owner. I will never come back to this location and would advise you to use any other UPS store but this one. I was pulling into a parking space in front of the store and there was apparently a mailman that was also trying to get that spot. The manager decided he needed to come stand in front of my car door and prevent me from getting out of my car while he lectured me on my parking abilities. While I may have been in the wrong, he was arrogant and unpleasant about the issue. I did not cause an accident and he had no right to come and intimidate me in front of my car. When I called to complain he refused to give me his name. The owner also refused to speak with me and made me talk to the manager again. He wouldn't apologize for his behavior and was loudly talking over me the whole time, called me a liar and hung up on me. read more

I dropped my package on 12/12/2016 at this store to be sent off with united state postal. I package this myself stamped it and dropped it off at this UPS store. when my package delivered to my destination we found out this box was tampered with the package received empty except for packing material. I hope this location is aware of tampering with US mail is a federal crime. I will find out who own and operate this location and report them to the united state postal inspector. read more
