Visited 2/22/24 Came here for dinner before going to the sports book to watch the game. I can say...... this place amazed me. I didn't expect it to be this good, I've been coming to the Atlantis for years and never thought to stop inside and give it a try (So glad I did) the service was nice and prompt, and the decor was beautiful. We got Sui Mai, Edamame, and Fried Prawns for appetizers. They were good, but standard nothing spectacular. For dinner my fiancé ordered the Mongolian Beef (Comes with a side of white rice) and I ordered Kimchi Fried rice. When I say the flavors were on point and hit the spot, take my word for it. The best kimchi fried rice I've ever had was in Vegas, so to find some in Reno that is just as good was shocking, it's the best kimchi fried rice so far in Reno. I enjoyed that. The portions are big and required a to go box, but I left completely satisfied and only spent $56 for all of it. Will be returning very soon. read more

I've eaten here three or four times now and it's always been just mediocre. Today I had a lunch of teriyaki chicken with a salad and as usual, the teriyaki chicken was mediocre. The salad was just a salad mix straight from a bag, nothing added to, just mixed lettuce. It was three in the afternoon and they were out of two of the five desserts they have. A special they were running during June was a great way to try out this new Asian place in the Atlantis Casino. The pricing for the special was great! The regular pricing for most of the dishes are really too high to be justified. That being said....I may be able to justify a rare return for the Asian Healing Soup because it was just so darn different! Like a light but not too bright mushroomy soup of goodness with some crazy textures to keep your mouth guessing. The space has been repurposed to work in the new Asian theme but you can still see the bones of the old restaurant. It wasn't too busy when we went, so I can't say how busy they are on the weekend nights. read more

Location: Red Bloom is located inside the Atlantis. The restaurant is very clean and cute. Appetizers: They have a sale and appetizers pairing. You order an appetizer and it comes with an entire bottle of sake. Our server recommended one filter and one unfiltered sake. For the appetizers we got spicy wontons and little poke cups. Service: We were greeted by a friendly host at the front desk. We recommend our favorite server, Tisha. She recommended the same pairing and also showed us a Japanese game to play with the bottle caps. Entree: we had told our server that we wanted something spicy and savory. She had recommended the magician beef and schechuan chicken. We have been coming her for a while, but we didn't know that we could up grade our rice to a fried rice or garlic noodles and they would make it fresh. So we got both of those dish with garlic noodles. All the ingredients were so fresh and delicious. We had a great time there. Would recommend to all the family and friends. read more

We came here for lunch right after checking in and getting settled in our room. You do have to walk through a smoke filled casino to get there, but once there, you cannot smell the cigarette / cigar stench. The service was good and the server we had was very friendly. We sat towards the back of the restaurant so it was fairly quiet and made for a nice lunch feast! The dim sum was very tasty! This is my second time eating here and Red Bloom is my second favorite place in town for dim sum. The Pork and Shrimp Sui Mai is delicious. The Bao Buns have the perfect filling to dough ratio. My family and I came on a whim. It wasn't busy for a weeknight. It looked like they had three waitstaff when we got there at 6:30 pm but by the time we were enjoying our meal, it was just one waitress handling all of the tables. She was pretty good and friendly, checking on us throughout. I finally decided to try one of their soups, wor wonton soup, and it was very flavorful. I loved all the ingredients that made the soup have a great balance. Lots of mushrooms, baby bok choy, shrimp, chicken, and wontons. My husband enjoyed his usual pork belly ramen. Our daughter ordered her usual chicken wings :) To finish out a delicious dinner, my husband picked out his lychee mousse cake, which he had to fend us off of lol. Service was consistent when you were seated. But like checking in you'll see multiple empty tables I mean like 10 empty tables and you'll have a 20 minute wait? So that was little weird to me. The food it self was tasteful and very presentable. Just to me the pork pieces should probably be cook different. The frying gave it a different texture that was rough. It's a Saturday and was really craving ramen, but it was 09:50pm; most ramen places were closed. I found Red Bloom because their website stated closing time was at 11pm. I called and asked what time the kitchen closes (most restaurants tend to shut down prior to closing time) and was confirmed they close at 11pm. We arrived around 10:15pm and was quickly seated. I was surprise with how many food options were listed on the menu! Our server was very helpful by answering some questions we had. Tried the ramen and the pork buns (4 for $10 seemed like a great deal). The ramen itself wasn't bad, the broth wasn't overly salty and the sides complemented the overall vibe of this dish. The chasu wasn't too burned or uncooked, it was just fine. The pork buns were too doughy and not enough filling, but it's a decent, shareable dish I had with my partner. This wasn't the best ramen or meal I've ever had. But, it itched my food-craving and enjoyed having Asian food that's offering semi-late at night. I only imagine myself coming back at night (a bit expensive), but would recommend at least trying once or as a last option. read more

Wonderful dinner and wonderful dessert. We arrived about 8PM with our family to enjoy good food with friends after a long day at the slopes (for them) and spa (for me). My first visit to this restaurant and I was pleased overall with the experience. Service was great-very attentive. We started with edamame and pot stickers. The potstickers were not my favorite-not a lot of flavor. For the entree we shared the chicken ramen and that was very good. Pork Egg Roll: Crispy, delicious, and absolutely loved the plum sauce Pork and shrimp siu mai: tasted like any siu mai I've had. Pork belly ramen: wish there was more flavors to it. I felt like it was lacking flavor. Broth was very subtle in flavor. I added the habanero spicy sauce to add another dimension to it. I also dipped the pork belly in the plum sauce and the soy sauce vinegar which made the dish better a little better honestly. Chicken ramen: didn't really have a chance to try it. It was for the kids. Short rib rice bowl: husband order it. He said it was just ok and felt a little underwhelming. He was still left hungry. Per Reb Bloom's response to my review, they did email me about our experience and Room Chef Toan Loi offered us a "make good" meal, which, in all honesty, is a very good business practice and I definitely appreciate the gesture. I thanked him (as I try to be polite), but I was also was quite blunt in my response that unless he can assure me that my previous meal was an exception to the rule and that he felt that RB is able to meet the high standards set by other fine establishments at the Atlantis, we feel very little inclination to return. My friend and I were town and we really wanted buffet but it was a 2 hour wait in line. We gave on the buffet and decided to go next door to Red Bloom. The restaurant is small, right next to the buffet. We got there around 830 and checked in with the host. He said it would be about a 30-40 min wait. No problem so we just walked around. Maybe 15 minutes go by and we received a text saying our table was ready. Checked back in with the host and was seated. Once we were seated, we jumped into our menus. My friend decided on the chicken ramen, I got the beef chow fun, and we got siu mai and the salt and pepper chicken wings to share. First the wings came out, hot and fresh. They were super good. Shortly after the ramen and chow fun came out. My friend was satisfied with her ramen. If had two big chicken skewers in them. The beef chow fun was just okay. Not too long after the siu mai came out; those were pretty good. In total everything came out to $60. Overall, service was good; our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was alright but I feel like it was over priced. However it is in the Atlantis Casino Resort so I expected the food to be a little overpriced. I'd go back for those chicken wings though. The seating process was fast, but the food took a long time. We tried a few things. The ramen wasn't spicy, so it's kid friendly. But the broth wasn't layered with flavor and body if that makes sense. Pork belly bao was good. Their highchair is also very small. Im not sure if it is adjustable or not. They are open late and located in the Atlantis next to Toucan Charlies. We were so happy to have found a place that is open after 10 p.m. on the weekend. The hubby and I were craving Vietnamese food. I didn't want the pho they offered here, so I opted out for the chicken Ramen, and hubby ordered wonton with rice noodles. I've been making my own at home, but at 10 p.m. I wanted takeout and to not make a mess in my kitchen. It's always a nice treat for someone else to cook. I loved my noodles, but the chicken packed with my ramen was burnt and the broth was on the salty side. I tried hubby's broth from the wonton soup and it was delicious. The hints of ginger were subtle and refreshing. I would try that one again. I wasn't expecting much from a casino Asian fare restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. I came in for a late lunch and also got great service. I ordered the curry tofu ramen and it was HUGE! 3 people could comfortably eat from this bowl. Lots of ingredients of greens, vinegar shrooms, soft boiled egg and chewy good noodles in a creamy coconut lightly spiced broth. It may cost about $2-3 more than other similar type of restaurants but the amount of food for that extra amount makes it a deal. They also have large serving entrees that are shareable and will be looking forward to trying and sharing that next visit. read more

Reno is very dim sum challenged so anytime I can get it here locally, I'll go! We all know that San Francisco is the nearest and best place for dim sum but for many reasons the desire and drive to Yank Sing to satisfy the craving is becoming less desirable every day. Red Bloom has "some dim sum" and although it's lacking in a variety of choices, it's good to have a few pieces and then move on to other plates and entrees they offer. My all time favorite dishes are Kim chi fried rice, bbq pork buns AKA Manapua! There is a good amount of choices on the menu to make everyone happy and we will certainly return. The service was great and they took very good care of us during our late lunch visit. The restaurant is relatively new, clean with modern Asian decor. I came in with my dad on a random Monday at lunch. Christopher (Chris) was our server and he was amazing. The food was delicious. I ordered the spicy prawn lunch special and my dad and I split the Chinese broccoli. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. My prawns were tender and buttery in their breading and the sauce was perfectly balanced (not too spicy, not too sweet, not too sour.) The service was top notch. I admit, I came here with low expectations because it's an "Asian" restaurant in a casino, and I'm always wary of restaurants that attempt to cover the entire cuisine of the largest continent on our planet. It's also in a casino, which means you're paying more $$. That said, the restaurant interior is nice since it's at the Atlantis, a beautiful casino. Service is also excellent with attentive staff. However, the food is average and so are the prices. The half order Peking duck came with a lot of duck, but it was very salty. The cucumber slices were so thick, it was hard to eat when assembled inside the bun. The dim sum was bland and the bao was soggy on the bottom. The Atlantis has so many other fantastic restaurants. I was visiting a friend in town and she took me to Red Bloom. We were there on a Sunday celebrating with a lychee lemon drop and crouching tiger cocktails. The lycheelwmon drop actually came with a lychee fruit inside. Our server, Tisha, has recommended it to us. It was made with Japanese lychee vodka. We were so impressed with the drinks that were recommended. We also ordered spicy wontons on their summer special menu. It comes with an entire bottle of sake! We got a table all the way inside because we wanted to be away from the smoke. One of the walls were elegantly decorated with bamboo steamer lids with flowers painted on them. The other side of the wall was the buffet and they were also busy. As for our entrees, we ordered beef chow fun. The noodles were cooked to perfection. This is very hard to do with rice noodles and most restaurants over cook them. We also had the Thai coconut ramen with the green curry broth. The portions were so big so we were able to share all of the dishes. For desserts Tisha recommended mochi ice cream. It was so beautifully decorated with fruits and flowers with all sorts of colorful syrups and freeze dried dragon fruit. Wanted to try this place for a while, and we finally had a chance as we had relatives visiting from out-of-town. A smallish place, but we didn't have to wait for a table. Surprised to see ramen on the menu as I thought it was a Chinese restaurant, and of course my son had to try that. He was pleased with it. I was happy to see lotus leaf wrapped sticky rice, my favorite dim sum. Haven't had that since we left Bay Area. It was excellent! Now I know where to run to when I have a craving. Everyone loved the food, and the service is excellent. One thing that surprised me was they don't offer discount for locals (probably all of Atlantis restaurants?) like other casinos.
