    NASTY NOT SEAFOOD GUMBO

The good was disgusting and tasted like freezer the "SEAFOOD GUMBO" if you can call it that tates nothing like it tasted more like a can of mushroom soup

If you like Cajun seafood boil...this is the place for you! I wasn't really expecting much when we decided to try this place out, but I was pleasantly surprised and it definitely exceeded my expectations. If you've had the pleasure dining at a Boiling Crab in California (or Texas, or Hawaii), this is the closest thing you'll get to that experience. From the butcher paper on top of the table, the bib you wear and your food being served in plastic bags...it really adds to the ambiance and the dining experience. Yelp pro tip--Bring your own latex/nitrile gloves. The plastic gloves they give you may just frustrate you as they slip in and out of your fingers.

    Seafood Deluxe Combo

Went here for Fathers Day and it did not disappoint. We ordered the seafood deluxe and added on an extra pound of shrimp since there were six of us eating. We also ordered hush puppies because , well hush puppies are always good and these were. Our food came in a reasonable amount of time and it did not disappoint. We ate every bit of it and walked away very satisfied. Our waitress was very attentive and we will definitely be back.

Service was good, our waiter confused our orders but we eventually figured out whose was whose! This is definitely a place you need to try the hot was not hot, if you like spice go up one or even two! Flavor was so tasty! I eat this fast because once it gets cold the butter starts to get hard I kept mine in the bag since I feel like it stays warm longer! The place is decorated so cute and appealing. I would definitely go back again!

Stopped here for the first time. We ordered the soft shell crab, hush puppies and calamari. First time trying calamari and soft shell crab and they didn't disappoint. Service was very friendly and food came out hot and fresh

Seafood boil: blue crab and head on shrimp. Hot & house blend seasoning
    Kaitlyn M.

Service was great. Attentive. The bloody Mary was nice. The seafood boil was so delicious. I loved the flavor combination and the heat. I would definitely recommend splurging the extra dollar for head off shrimp next time. I would also recommend splurging on the crab. A lot of the meat was stuck in the shell. It also just seemed like a lot of extra work for the blue crab. They were hard to open compared to the regular crab I'm used to getting. I would crack open a leg and the shell would go flying which is not what I'm used to when I have crab legs. Overall I definitely will be back I just will be splurging a little more.

We were seated right away, and it was a perfect day to sit outside. The hostess let us know they had workers outside, but we were totally okay with the noise, which ended up being very minimal. We didn't order any drinks, but for food, I decided to try the birria grilled cheese, which comes with one side, and I chose fries. Not only did it look so appetizing, but it tasted AMAZING. The bread had some sort of seasoning on it that added so much flavor to the sandwich. The fries were seasoned exceptionally well too. I'll definitely be back sometime soon to try more items. The pace did start picking up around 6:30. The food was great! If you're considering getting appetizers, one is more than enough to share. I loved the cost to serving size ratio on everything we got. The food was wonderful! Depths to the flavors in all the meals. The server had a genuinely hard time picking the best thing on the menu, which I took as a good sign. After trying the salmon salad, the elote fries, and the fried pickles, I can see why. Word of caution: You will be tempted to eat all of the fries and pickles before your meal comes out. Next time, I would see if the appetizers and the entree could come out at the same time so I can eat more of the main entree.

They definitely have/had some pretty high prices compared to other eateries in the area. I'm not sure if that is caused by cost of goods or location or what, but I think that did come into play when a lot of economic hardship is happening all over. Like I mentioned above, I DID like their food, but it definitely had to be a special occasion type of thing, due to the high prices. When we did go, I LOVED the Maryland Crab Dip. It reminded me of my favorite crab dip in the world, at the SweetWater Brewing Company in Atlanta. We also had the Green Bean Almandine that was on special last time we went and that was pretty good, but you have to be a green bean fan, for sure. I decided to try the sushi as my main dish last time, and had the Everything Crunch Maki, which consisted of cooked salmon, jalapeño, and cream cheese. It was pretty good, and had a little hint of spice to it from the jalapeño, which cut the heavy cream aspect. My husband had the Grilled Atlantic Salmon for his entree, and gave me a few bites. It was cooked well and the mushroom risotto below it was very flavorful and filling. The cute nautical ambiance and excellent service were always appreciated, so no complaints there either. I think if they had been in a different area with less expensive rent and cost of goods, I may have visited more often.

I cannot believe that I have never been here before. The hours of this restaurant and its menu clearly reflect the ability to get Mexican style breakfast, lunch or dinner all day long. Our servers bilingual capability reflects the clientele that are attracted to this wonderful spot. Great chips, nice fresh salsa with a little bit of heat and very good guacamole. I love the fact that they offer a little bit smaller portions so that you don't end up feeling like you have to stuff yourself or leave a little bit behind. The pricing is great and clearly beer and margaritas are readily available. There is even a corner of the restaurant that caters to Mexican style snacks. Great desserts too! I've been to this location before but it's been a while and we really enjoyed coming back. Came in on a Saturday afternoon when it's fairly typical to have live mariachi bands roving the restaurant. The restaurant is large, and has a fun fiesta of decor. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated without reservations. It should be noted that they will take reservations during the week, but not on weekends. There are a number of large tables that can accommodate bigger groups. Complementary parking lot is available out front. However, it does get a little tight during their busy times. This is an interesting Mexican restaurant as it reminds me of something more typical of what you would find on the Yucatán peninsula. Shrimp and mixed ceviche dishes, a large variety of fish dishes, including whole fish that are very traditional for that part of Mexico. They also serve excellent salsa and guacamole, however, this is not the type of Mexican restaurant you can order dishes of queso, or some of the more traditional dishes that you would find at other, more Americanized restaurants. Our server, Christine V was super! We got there a little early in order to secure a larger table off to the side since our infant granddaughter is going to be joining us for a birthday celebration. This restaurant well they don't allow you to bring it outside cakes for dessert offer a variety of desserts that can be offered for special occasions. We were able to select a strawberry Tres Leche cake, which was just perfect for the occasion. We also enjoyed their margaritas, which were excellent and offered in the variety of enormous proportions! Everything that was ordered, was generous in quantity and delicious and quality that included a variety of fajitas and shrimp dishes. This location also offers seafood rolls that are prepared at a sushi counter. For those that are a little less brave there are a number of options that offer everything cooked and prepared just like you would find in any local sushi restaurant and as good. The one thing I also love about this restaurant is that it is immaculately clean. There's a dedicated crew that roams and never leaves anything unbussed for long. Everything appears to be wiped, sanitized, and swept in between every round of customers which is brisk. The manager came around and checked on us to ensure we have everything we need and offered us to go bags. Everything about this visit was very positive. Imagine my surprise, arriving early to help with event set up and discussing the layouts of the room I encountered an exceptionally cranky and dismissive person. I was even more surprised when I found out that this person was one of the owners! A couple of employees that overheard the conversation confided that this is typical behavior and they don't really pay much attention to it. I have news, I don't get paid to be there, I pay to be there. Shortly thereafter this fun chat, I had the opportunity to meet the manager, who indicated that if they had known that the room was going to be used for the type of event we had that they never would've let it be used, even though it was a slow day in the middle of the week. WOW! Fortunately, two of the wait staff were exceptionally helpful and made great suggestions that helped us to facilitate an event that required some flexibility. Honestly, if it hadn't been for the two folks helping us out in the room, I don't know how we would've made it through the evening - very stressful. The pizzas were typical and basic ones were reasonably priced, as were hors d'oeuvres. Soft drinks were rather expensive at $3.50/person.
