It was definitely spicy but I love it that and had so much flavor and meat and noodles! I love having leftovers so I was very excited to have more the next day! This was the perfect place to grab supper with the family! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the ambience was pleasant and fun with pop music playing over the speakers. The dining room is small with only ten tables, but while we were enjoying our Friday night dinner, there were only a few tables occupied (most everyone else who came in picked up bags of carry out). The server was very attentive about asking if we had any allergy concerns before we ordered, and she was very efficient. We started with the crunch tofu and peanut sauce as a shared appetizer. It arrived at the table piping hot, and was a fine start to the meal. The two standout entrees were the Chicken Pad See Eew and the Bangkok Noodles with Tofu. Both meals we enjoyed at the medium spice level, but your server asks your preference as you order. We voted that the Bangkok Noodles was the ultimate winner. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a terrific casual restaurant for a fun evening out. We will happily return to try other menu items. read more

Wow! I drove two hours to pickup someone from the airport in Omaha only to find out their plane was delayed two and a half hours. I didn't eat lunch before going so I was hungry. My husband helped me find this place while on the road. It was delicious. The space was relaxing, food was great, and the service was excellent. If you are a fan of Thai food, this place is a must-try! We love spicy food and this restaurant knows how to make it right. We started with edamame which were served steaming hot and topped with sea salt. The basil fried rice with chicken was ordered Thai hot (5 stars) and was a flavor bomb of spice, umami, and herbs. We also got red curry with chicken which was cooked to perfection. The curry was balanced - it had all of the key flavors I crave in Thai food: spicy, salty, sweet, sour, and umami. A lot of Thai places will overdo the spice or sweetness, but Sea Thai knows how to strike the perfect balance. The inside was clean and our server was polite and helpful. We have missed this place. It originally opened out West then closed during the pandemic with no explanation. Come to find out they reincarnated at Midtown! This place is easy to miss (and you may circle and U-turn several times) because there's no sign over the space but you'll find it just right if Rexius Nutrition or left of Definitive Vision. Came on a Friday night and it was crickets while we were there except for one other table and a few take out orders. They need to let more people around the neighborhood know they're here! Service was just the right amount of check ins and water refills. Food was fantastic! I got the Chicken Pad Thai and it presented beautifully. My SIL got the drunken noodle and I instead had buyers remorse because her dish looked and tasted phenomenal. (The fresh Thai basil really shines through on this dish) Prices are really reasonable but you can definitely tell inflation had an effect on pricing. The portions are generous though and two people could easily share one entree. The ONLY thing I would change is to bring them back to West Omaha because Midtown is too far for me to get my fix. read more

Both were excellent - flavorful, good portions, nice spice level (I got medium spice which made my nose run but didn't scorch my mouth so perfect!), large shrimp. I would order here again! So happy to have good Thai near downtown! Update: Two weeks later - I just ordered again and got the Basil Fried rice, Drunken noodles with shrimp, egg rolls and crab Rangoon. My sister - who is soooo picky about how lean and grisly her meat is - actually loved the fried rice. I think it might be the best fried rice I've had in a long while. We ordered Sea Thai for the first time yesterday and we'll definitely be back - often!! We had Lad Na with chicken, the spicy pork mandu, the crab rangoon, and the basil fried rice. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and fresh! The spicy pork mandu definitely had some heat, but it was well balanced & not overpowering. The crab rangoon were light and filled with a good amount of crab feeling! The Lad Na was bursting with fresh veggies and noodles. The basil fried rice comes with chicken, which was a nice surprise since thus wasn't stated on the takeout menu. My only complaint is that it's currently very hard to find, but they are brand new, and I'm sure signage is coming!! We'll see you again soon, Sea Thai! read more
