I do love pad thai itself, but I unfortunately did NOT love "I Love Pad Thai" the restaurant. We ordered it for delivery when we were working one day and couldn't make it out for lunch/didn't have time to make lunch ourselves. I know everywhere is better if you eat it inside, but if they offer delivery, I think that it should be about on par with what you get in the restaurant (because they certainly charge the same or more than dining in). This either was just not great from the get go, or it lost a LOT of quality in the delivery time. I don't think that's the case, because a delivery time doesn't make most of the food almost FLAVORLESS. Cold, maybe - but flavor doesn't vanish from it being delivered? So if you couldn't tell, we were not fans of almost anything we received. My Pad See Yew was literally flavorless. It tasted like WATER was used for the "sauce" on it. The chicken in it was also very stringy and dry. My husband got the Pad Thai, which did have a little bit more flavor, with the peanut sauce, but not a whole lot more. The only saving grace was the fried dumpling appetizer we ordered. Those were tasty and the dipping sauce they came with was good (it said it was just soy sauce but it wasn't super salty like soy sauce, more sweet). At almost $50 for two entrees that were basically untouched because they were so dry and flavorless, I would say order elsewhere or dine inside so you can gauge what you are getting in person. read more

Came here for lunch on a Wednesday and it was pretty empty. I ordered pickup and it was ready within 10 minutes. I ordered pork red curry and they were very skimpy on the meat. There were just three shreds of pork and the pork definitely wasn't fresh. The spice level was OK. The broth tasted a bit off--and smelled off in fishy/old kind of way. It was a cold, rainy Monday when we decided to get Thai food for dinner. The restaurant was kinda cold too, but the server was friendly and attentive. Bookguy ended up with cashew chicken while I had Massaman curry with tofu. For an appetizer we had a sampler with egg rolls, samosas, fried wontons, and some kind of fried shrimp-- the tail was poking out so I knew it was shrimp. The wonton and samosa were crispy and fairly standard. Bookguy ate all the other appetizers and liked them. He thought his cashew chicken was ok, but had hoped it would be more like the garlic chicken he had elsewhere. He really liked the sauce in my curry. I liked I too, and in hindsight I wish I would have tried it at spicy level one. Instead I played it safe and had no spice. But the creaminess of the sauce complemented the veggies and tofu perfectly. I also had jasmine tea because I was cold, and it helped warm me. I have enjoyed eating from Pad Thai but it seems everytime I come in the service gets worse and worse. I got here right when they opened 11am and I am the only person in the restaurant. I wait 5-10 minutes for my water and menu, then my server disappears for another 5 minutes when I was ready to order right away. Order my food, and I go to the restroom to change my son only for them to not have a changing table... so I either change him on the dirty floor or a sink. I return to my food, and sat for about 20 minutes waiting for my server to come back to get a box and my check. THEN he disappears for the third time, leaving me waiting. Thankfully I had cash but I ideally planned to pay with my card. I got the chicken pad Thai. The flavor was amazing. Some places are cheap with the sauce if you don't get it spicy but that's not the case here. One thing I didn't like was the chicken and I ended up taking the chicken out. We also ordered their vegetarian egg rolls, which were basically spring rolls and they were great. All flakey and they came out steaming hot! We didn't have the best service tho. The person I came with got the spicy curry (which they loved) but at one point they started to cry because we couldn't find anyone to refill their water lol.
