A Last-minute decision and a great meal! Located on the Council Bluffs side of the pedestrian bridge this little restaurant offers big flavor. A cozy little restaurant with pictures of Thailand is very clean and always busy! We were pleasantly greeted and offered to grab a table. Our server was very pleasant, but there was a bit of a communication gap, and some of our order did not quite make it as a result. I would simply suggest verifying the order after it's taken to avoid any confusion. The food was just as we remembered, very, very good! We had some of their fried tofu with sweet chili sauce and chicken (alternate proteins also available ) pad Thai, which is available with heat levels that go from 'mild' to 'melt your face'. We ordered entirely too much food and still our bill was super economical. There is no alcohol available at this location, however a nice varieties of Thai tea offer a great pairing. Plenty of parking in the area with no meters makes for easy access and no parking ticket worries! Also accessible via foot from downtown or just a bicycle right away over the bridge. A really great place to check out. I would highly recommend verifying the hours as they don't post closures on the web and they tend to be closed for holidays.

This incredibly unassuming Thai restaurant is going to blow your mind! We walked over from Omaha and just needed a snack, but then decided to fully commit. The green curry with chicken was full of veggies and chicken and the broth was nice and light. The pad see ew was absolutely delicious! I've had pad see ew all over and this was so good. The right amount of spice and chicken and eggs and bok choy! Amazing. I enjoyed it so much I ordered it to go and it was just as good reheated the next day. Our server was kind and attentive and she got us everything we needed. The restaurant space itself is nothing to write home about, but it's clean and open and airy. I will definitely be back!

Thai food is one of my favorites. In all my experience with Thai food it was cool. Yes I've had better but I'd do it again. The service was friendly and the environment was quiet and easy.

I live in downtown Omaha and I love to walk on the Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge over to Iowa Unfortunately, the Council Bluffs side is not very walkable. There is one restaurant in the area, Mercy Thai. Fortunately, it is quite tasty. Affordably priced, with fast and friendly service. I got the Pad Thai Woon Sen, which is just like regular Pad Thai but with glass noodles instead of rice noodles. It is generally more savory than the regular, and the noodles are kind of crispy/springy. It was really good. The Thai iced tea and coffee were generously sized (as was the food). I definitely will be coming back! It's a great resting point after walking the bridge. Must admit though that after eating a lot of food and still having a lot to carry home, the walk back was a little more challenging!

What an unexpected surprise. Although pretty empty when we arrived a lunch crowd quickly developed. The flavors of each dish were great. Quiet vibe. Friendly service.

A wonderful take out order. Good portions and super quick prep in 10 mins. A convenient location in Rivers Edge.

Excellent Thai food- complex flavors and good spice levels. You get to choose how spicy you want it from 1-10. Each of us ordered a different level and were happy with the spiciness (or lack thereof lol) We will definitely be back!

I heard about this new Thai restaurant in CB and had to give it a try ASAP. I showed up when they opened for dinner last night, at 5pm, and was immediately greeted and sat. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and the Drunken Noodles. The rolls and the Drunken Noodles came out in no time; (a few minutes apart). The spring rolls were really fresh but had too much carrot and lettuce and only had a couple little shrimps. I probably won't get these again, which is a shame. The Drunken Noodles were good. Every ingredient looked and tasted fresh. I got a 5, which is probably a tad too hot for me so I'll get a 3 next time. (They ask you to choose a hotness level, 1-10.) Next time I'll probably get the old tried and true Pad Thai but wanted to try something new this time. I'll definitely be going back to try their other dishes, as well as some curry and will update my review if anything changes.

    Thai Pho

Tasted pretty good! I had the regular Thai Pho and it was delicious. The broth was very hot and fresh. There is a big difference between Thai Pho and Vietnamese Pho. I recommend Mercy Thai's pho, especially when the weather is chilly. Their egg rolls are really delicious too.

Really enjoyed our experience at Mercy Thai. Service was great, and the food was yummy. Super quick to bring it out and overall enjoyed it! We will be back!

Tom Yum Kai soup served in kettle with sterno. Very hot!

This was our first visit to the CB Mercy Thai, and we will be back! I was pleased that there were so many customers in this new restaurant. In my opinion, it is the best Thai food in the metro area! We started with crab Rangoon, which have a twist to other crab Rangoon I've tried. There is some sweetness, like pineapple. I can't quite put my finger on it. I ordered the Tom Yum Kai soup, which was served in a hot kettle with sterno. It was served steaming hot! I asked for a side of rice to add to the soup. It was very flavorful and had lots of veggies and herbs added for extra flavor. They ask your spice level, and I'm a wimp so I order one! It was perfect.

A nice spacious restaurant in a new development area. Since we're in the area, will try this location out. Got seated quickly and placed our orders. All our dishes were good and flavorful with the only disappointment is the sticky rice was very hard to eat. For 3 bucks, you get half a fist size helping.

Just be careful with how much spice you ask for, a 3 was HOT! But very very good!! The Katsu was AMAZINGGGGGG and the portions are generous, it made great left overs! I am excited to go back and try their boba teas! The starters were amazing, I love crab Rangoon and these were fresh and amazing. We came 1 hour before close because of downtown traffic being so bad, they did not mind and served us fast and the waitress was so kind. It's a very laid back space with plenty of seating!

Before a spice level 2 on a meal was reasonably warm but now it is almost sickly sweet with no actual flavor. I said no, I can order from the menu. She and the gentleman server just kind of looked at me so I asked, "Do I seat myself?" It was my first visit so I didn't know. The gentleman said "Yes, sit wherever you'd like." I sat down at a table for 2. The interior is a bit small but as it was later in the afternoon there were plenty of seating options. Thai music videos were playing on a television and there were Thai photos and artwork on the walls. The gentleman who greeted me took my drink and appetizer order. When he brought my iced tea, he took my entree order. I have had Pad Thai two other places and got 5/10 heat rating both times. Both were spicy, but not overly so. When I got my spring rolls, I was excited to try them. I dipped them in the peanut sauce and took a bite. They were good but something didn't taste quite right. I finished one roll and started on a second one, trying to figure out why they tasted a little off to me. After a couple bites, a piece of cilantro came out of the roll onto my plate. That explained it. I'm one of those people for whom cilantro tastes bad/soapy. So the rolls are probably good, as long as you like cilantro! When my pork Pad Thai came out, it looked amazing! It tasted really good, too--I ate the entire plate full! It was much spicier/hotter than the two I had tried at other restaurants, but I liked it spicy. The only drawback was that I finished my glass of iced tea pretty quickly, given the spiciness, and did not get a refill until about ten minutes later. The gentleman who served me was taking down the buffet and wiping down tables, which is fine, but he didn't come check on the two tables that were still in the restaurant. The woman came in from the front entry area after about ten minutes and refilled my glass with water. I drank it, and was not offered another refill until a different server came with my check, another ten-fifteen minutes later. Over all, the Pad Thai was excellent, the spring rolls were probably good for cilantro people, but I do wish I'd been able to get more to drink.
