Solid breakfast, very chill spot, the service is quick and efficient but the highlight is the different Morir Soñandos. They got 5 different variants. I had the Morir de Piña and the original Morir Soñando. I still have to try the others but thus far they both are solid. Hands down best Morir Soñando spot in Bk... possibly NYC.

After eating at Pies and Thighs I picked morir sonando which is pretty much carrot and orange juice with milk and sugar. $4. This drink was too sweet for me but it's very invigorating. I wouldn't mind having this for breakfast once and a while. I would have eaten here and saved a lot of money if they served typical Dominican food along the diner type food.

Breakfast? This is the go to place for bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, this is breakfast! Morir Soñando is the house special drink and it's a must.

Original Williamsburg spot! This is a gem! Great food great service and everyone is treated like a king/queen. Beconegandcheese is great of course and don't forget their signature breakfast drink.

A little Dominican luncheonette on Havemeyer street right around the corner from the entrance to the Williamsburg Bridge. I stopped here to get one of their Morir Sonandos on a hot summer day before walking over the bridge. It's kind of like one of those orange creamsicles in liquid form, aka awesome. The name literally translates to "to die dreaming." Pretty spot on, it is definitely one of those things that gives you that heavenly feeling, aka "omfg this is good!' I'm sure Jesus would approve. They use freshly squeezed oranges to make it. I ordered mine from the window but there is also a lunch counter you can sit at and order something to eat. I'll have to go by again sometime to try it out. Chris Cornell was filming a music video for Life on Mars (Ground Zero). They shot a scene of him walking down broadway then getting 'hit' by a car on the corner of havemeyer and broadway. I think it would've turned out better if they had used an actual stuntman and a real car instead of having Chris pretend to get hit and then adding a car digitally in production... watch the end of the video you'll see what I mean.

Great breakfast/brunch for a price! Highly recommend. Got on omelette with cheese, roasts and coffee for little less than $5, where else can one find a place cheaper in NYC?

You can never get a better Morir Sonando than here. Why? Because they use REAL oranges to make orange juice! Most places uses store bought brands like Tropicana or Minute Maid. The breakfast there are also amazing! Reasonable price too! Try their Domincan Home Fries. OMG they are soooo delicious. Best home fries! Best Morir Sonando!

This Texan found Texas level smoked meat in NYC and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste! These guys have it right. I tried a pound of brisket, marble cut so very moist, one pork rib, with a delicious pepper bark, and the Dominican rice and beans, and the cornbread. Everything was a 10/10. Because it's in the food hall it was counter service which was pretty fast and friendly. Be prepared for a line though. It's worth the wait!

We decided to wait, and it took us 45 minutes to get our food. My favorite meat was the pork ribs. The brisket was tasty but a bit on the dry side, and the sausage didn't stand out to me. I wish that the meats all came with more sauce. Out of the side dishes, I liked the cornbread the most, although the rice and beans and the mac and cheese were also tasty. The food here was solid, but in my opinion, it was not worth the price or the wait. You could get a much nicer experience and tastier meal at a similar price elsewhere.

I had Churrasco which came with yellow rice and black beans. It was incredible, and I always get a tad scared with skirt steaks being overcooked but it was the perfect medium with grilled marks. The chimichurri was great too. I am nit-picking here but a little more salt and pepper on everything would of been great. Don't come with out having the sangria, they pack a punch!

That set the tone of attentive service, which continued throughout an exceptional meal in Bath Beach. This area is busy, in a locals doing their thing kind of way. It's a real neighborhood, and La Chacra is a great reason to check it out. We initially had decided on ordering the Combo La Chacra, which consists of a whole rotisserie chicken, yellow rice with red beans, an avocado salad, an order of salchipapas, and an order of maduros. We added an extra half chicken, and thought "that's a wrap". However, there was an appetizer special of thinly sliced octopus prepared Peruvian style that needed to be ordered too. The service was excellent. Not overwhelming, but just right. Dishes were cleared, napkins replaced, straw wrappers taken away as soon as they hit the table. It's not something that I'm used to writing about, but needed to be said. And then, the food. It was outstanding. Compared to both the basic, and the high end Peruvian restaurants that I've been to throughout the city, La Chacra is far and away the best. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and felt intentional. Nothing was just thrown on a plate. As full as we were, and we were quite full, there was no way that we were leaving without trying something from the desert menu. Another wise choice, as both the flan and the tres leche cake were fantastic. To wrap this one up, this spot is a solid five stars. The prices are very reasonable and the food, service, and charming atmosphere will have us returning soon.
