We were seated within five minutes in a room with a view of the street. It was raining outside, and it felt nice and cozy inside the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and checked in on how we were doing regularly. We ordered the Tot-chos (half order to share among six people) and I also got a huckleberry soda for myself as well as the bison (classic) burger with sweet potato fries. For dessert, we shared two scoops of huckleberry ice cream (from Sweet Peaks), the bread pudding and the beignets. I loved the Tot-chos, and the half order was honestly a pretty big size already! The huckleberry soda was pretty sweet (I think it had 41 grams of sugar), but I don't regret trying it. The bison burger wasn't bad, it definitely tasted similar to beef, but it was a huge burger so I couldn't finish it. The sweet potatoes were also delicious. In terms of the dessert, I had gone to Sweet Peaks already and liked their huckleberry flavor a lot, so I was excited to see them on the menu. People at my table loved the bread pudding. I thought the beignets were not bad, but they weren't as good as the other desserts.

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the kind of place that immediately makes you feel at home on a holiday. The lamb shanks were unbelievably tender and rich with flavor--easily some of the best we've ever had. The seared duck was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection with a depth of taste that truly impressed us. Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully presented, and made with care. And the service? Impeccable. A huge thank-you to Ben, who was the perfect waiter--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you're in Whitefish and want a memorable dining experience, Herb & Omni is a must. A Thanksgiving we'll definitely remember!
