I went to Rebecca's one time with a couple of my friends and we were able to secure the couch in the front which was great because there was a large group of us. I believe it was a Saturday night and there was only ONE bartender. It took so long to get a drink and when I finally did I was met with a ton of attitude (which I somewhat understood because he was there alone). The music at Rebecca's is also all over the place. It's hard to really get into a vibe.

Super cute little bar with affordable drinks and friendly staff. They play cool music and are never super crowded so it's a nice place to just get a drink and chill.

THERE'S A CRAZY PHOTO BOOTH MIRROR HERE. Would recommend trying this out though it's a little finicky when it comes to texting yourself the GIF images. Rebecca's is a really cute and funky place that's bound to become your favorite neighborhood hang.

The ceviche was probably the best ceviche I've ever had in my life. It was blood orange based, but the citrus was really well balanced. The king oyster mushroom dish was soo delicious. The sauce and the texture of the mushrooms were to die for. I've salivating thinking about them right now! The fish was also so amazing. The bottoms were so crispy, it was almost like it was a layer of potato chip! Really great texture, and the fish meat was cooked to perfection. Really sad that they're closing, but looking forward to whatever the chef/restaurant team does next!

It's a beautifully designed space, and we went in the evening so it was dimly lit and had good tunes, contributing to an intimate and cool vibe. The service throughout was good both by our primary server and the rest of the team that was bringing out dishes. For the food, we did not feel that it was a strong start, but the ending was great! The first dish to come out was their cornbread, which we agreed was very light and had a super tender texture, but there was just nothing special about the taste profile to us. The second dish were their prawns. We couldn't put our finger on the off-putting flavor in there, but we agreed that something just wasn't right and almost tasted spoiled. You also had to work a bit to dissect the prawns and remove the heads and skin. To work for it and then not enjoy the taste wasn't a great combo for us, unfortunately. It started turning around with their sweet potatoes, a type I'd never had before that were "baby" and purple on the outside while white inside. They served the potatoes with a gorgeously whipped Greek yogurt that added the exact right amount of tang to balance the sweet potato and the herby topping. The stars of the night were the coconut basmati rice and the lamb shank. My goodness! The rice dish was so complex from a flavor and texture profile and just hit all the right notes for us, and that lamb! Definitely one of the best lamb dishes I've had - Impossibly tender and seasoned to perfection. One other note I'll make regarding drinks is that they did not have a strong wine list. I ended up ordering a red, but later heard our waiter recommend against getting their wine to another table and suggesting their cocktails and mocktails instead. Just something to keep in mind if you're a wine lover!

They spill all over the place every time and because of that, I always burn my hand. They don't have sleeves either because I think the cups are too small. The customer service could be better as it always seems like to-go orders are an inconvenience over dining in customers. Either way, the location is convenient if you need a coffee shop in Greenpoint if the neighboring shops are full. They do have a full menu for brunch, lunch, and dinner service. The prices match the location and the food looks good as there are always locals dining outside with their families and dogs. The space is spacious as well. I cannot comment on the food, only my takeout order experience. Accepts cash, card and Applepay. Indoor, outdoor and takeout available. Bathroom available.

The mix of a thousand island type sauce with ketchup made this burger a 10/10. Lots of lettuce, not overly anchovy and just the croutons were soft and crisp at the same time? very much enjoyed how big of a portions all of these items were. chicken parm sauce was tangy and had good flavoring with the perfect melted cheese on top of the soft but crisp edges of the chicken. i'd highly recc all three items we got! service was quick once we got seated and was nice to be outside in the warm weather.

The Japanese breakfast had some standout elements, especially the generous portion of fish, the flavorful pickled vegetables, and the perfectly cooked rice. That said, we were hoping for a bit more variety to round out the set. The slow-cooked pork sando was enjoyable, although the fries were probably our least favorite part of the meal. They tasted like frozen fries, which felt a little out of place compared to the quality of everything else. We also really enjoyed the apple tart pancake--it was a delicious way to end brunch. Sabino was working the register and was incredibly friendly. Although I wanted to eat my sfogliatella later, he gave it to me first. It my first time ever having one and it was freaking delicious. It was warm and flaky with the perfect amount of pistachio filling. I def savored each bite and contemplated getting another one but ultimately decided not to. My salad came out shortly after and was better than I expected. The croutons were ginormous but also seasoned and worth each bite. The salad was tangy and had plenty of shredded Parmesan, which I loved! I got a chance to talk with Sabino a bit before he left. Because he had difficulty on the register, he gave me some later cookies which I thought was an incredibly nice gesture. I more than enjoyed my visit and already can't wait to come back! I can't speak highly enough about how wonderful the experience was, from planning to preparation to the actual day. Slawek, the manager, was incredible to work with. He was very accommodating, flexible, and clearly wanted the party to be a huge success. He even planned out a custom menu for the group based on our preferences. Slawek also made sure that there were gluten-free and vegetarian options (some of my guests had those food restrictions). And, there were several guests who did not drink alcohol (myself included), and I was pleasantly surprised that the kitchen created custom mocktails for us to enjoy (which were delicious!). Slawek spent the weeks leading up to the party checking in on our plans and preparing everything behind the scenes. We had two long tables for our party, and it felt like a family atmosphere. The food was absolutely incredible. Everyone's plates were licked clean. From the appetizers to the entree choices to the dessert, all my guests were raving about the quality of the food. The service was also impeccable. Adrian and Marek took care of our every need. They were attentive, receptive, and quick to refill a glass or ask if we needed anything else. Adrian and Marek checked in with me frequently (as well as with my guests) to make sure I felt good and to ask if I needed anything else. Truly, they made me feel so special.
