Nail design, square-shaped nails
Paulla L.

Love my nails; had to share my experience. I've been here many times, I've always been pleased with the outcome. I usually get acyclic nails or gel x. My designs always come out beautifully.

They have so many colors to choose from! Their glitter collection is perfection. I recently got a a deep cat eye in red. Perfect for the Halloween season. I'm in love. Mimi did amazing!!

I just had an appointment with Van and HOLY COW I AM AMAZED! She's a true artist!! If you want a good design ask for her :)

I've never had gel x look like this. i understand my nail bed is curved but this looks so bad.

Im sorry for leaving a bad review on a small business but this one is for a particular nail tech whose name i don't know. If you don't like your job just quit girl. i thought she was maybe shy but she's just rude and seems like she doesn't want to be there and is overall not a good tech.. I spent $80 on a gel x set that lasted days. the first time it took her almost 2 hours to get a gel x french where she didn't even have to cut or shape the nail. my index nail looked so WEIRD after and my other nail chipped off only days after getting them done. Won't be coming back because I don't want to feel that way again and if they can't do a simple set then it's not worth spending anymore money in my opinion

Two words: Kim Dip! I came to this salon with the mindset of going back to gel nails after getting dip because of how thick and unnatural my nails looked. When I let my nail tech know why I wanted to go back to gel...Kim Dip came to the rescue! Kim is amazing at making your dip nails look natural! She pays close attention to detail and makes sure to get your approval on every step she takes. I continue to have such an amazing experience with this salon! Thank you Kim Dip!

Dip manicure with French tips! Love the design and the suggestion by Kim. Thanks again.

First time here, while I am on vacation from Hawaii. Called in at 5:30pm and they were able to take me right away for a Manicure and Pedicure. Kim helped me so much with my nails and recommended dip powder for my fragile nails. I'm so happy with how they turned out. Yvonne, helped me with my deluxe pedicure. This felt like heaven after a two week vacation. Got exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend stopping in and ask for Kim or Yvonne.

Aww pretty! I love it. the salon it's very nice and also all of the employees are very professional & friendly. I am highly recommend .

Great place, And best service! All of the employees are doing Great job well done. They're very nice and friendly. Thank You

Juliana D.

They did a great job on my toes and Gel x nails! If you're planning on getting Gel X ask for Jacey!

Kristin S.

Love the service the ladies provide for me every time! It's best to have an appointment but they will gladly take in walk-ins without any issues. These are my real nails with Dip . Mimi always make my nails look so perfect just the way I like it and always is opening to sharing her ideas on what new look I should try . I don't have a set person for my pedicures but most of the ladies always do a fantastic job. If Mimi isn't available I go to Vi or Hannah ! They're great !

Still a piece of acrylic left on
Yadira G.

If I could give this place 0 stars, i would. I went to have my acrylic nails removed and it was the WORST experience of my life. The lady who did my nails (i didn't get her name but she had a heart lock tattoo on her left wrist) used the wrong method of removing my nails and it resulted in a painful experience. I let her know multiple times that i was in pain and offered different methods to remove the nails and she just laughed and dismissed me. She even had a colleague help her and i expressed the same sentiment to her and she also did not listen to me. it was literally the worst experience of my life. Not only that , but they still did not remove the nails fully!!!! I do not recommend this place whatsoever.

I've been coming here for a while now & I can always count on Mimi to do a great job on my nails!

They have you fill out a "preferences" questionnaire that asks if you prefer talking, no talking or talking only if it's self initiated - which is a nice touch because sometimes you just don't have the capacity or desire to talk. My masseuse was good. I got a basic massage and the scalp oil treatment as an add-on. The massage was good but the scalp massage seemed a little short but I would get it again. The facility was clean, the only issue was the water pressure in the bathroom. The faucet was a tiny stream and the toilet didn't flush after several tries. I let them know and they said it was an issue with the entire LBX property. I didn't use the shower. Hopefully will be fixed soon. The price was good comparatively speaking. I arrived 4-5 minutes early for my appt and the therapist took me to the room at the exact time my appt was set to start and then did not return to begin the massage until 6-7 minutes later. The therapist starts the massage over the cover, but when she pulls the cover back she realizes she forgot her lotion. She went to retrieve it and quickly returned, but I unfortunately did not like her technique. She used her arm and elbow as her main technique of giving the massage and I prefer hands with the arm/elbow more so as a supplement, not the other way around. In addition to not enjoying the massage, people were speaking loudly right outside the door and heating up smelly food. I was in the first room right across from the break room. I ended the service early because it was not enjoyable or relaxing. When I went to pay I was charged for 30 minutes, which was right where I ended the service, but I was not offered a discount even after sharing that I didn't like the service and explained the reasons why.

A very unassuming little slice of paradise…read more I just had an amazing experience at La Dolce Vita Spa. I booked the Love Yourself for Two/Couples by calling Saturday morning. Was able to book the same day. The package is $360 ($10 coupon) for a 30 min jacuzzi soak, a 45 min body scrub, and a 60 min massage. For two people, this is a great deal. Parking: circled 2 blocks and found a street parking spot. If I were running late or if the streets were packed, I would pay the $10 to park at the Shell gas station across the street. Jacuzzi: In the back outdoor patio, there are partitioned areas for jacuzzis and treatment rooms. It's a little tight walking through but it adds to the coziness. Swimsuits are optional. They provided us with slippers (about a size 8/9 women's) and a robe (one size). My partner and I had a glass of rose and soaked for about 20 min. Body scrub: feels amazing after the jacuzzi. The scrub is a little rough on the skin to get the exfoliation, but in a pleasant way. They do a good job of covering you with a thin towel, and don't go too deep in crevices like you would experience at a Korean spa. My skin felt so soft afterwards. Massage: after soaking in the jacuzzi and getting scrubbed on a treatment bed, we were put in the outdoor massage area. My masseuse was Sarah, and she did wonders on my shoulders and neck, which were areas I asked for focus. She was surgical with finding pressure points and working them out. I my shoulders still feel so relaxed from her work earlier today. My partner had Jamie as his masseuse and was equally pleased with his massage. After the treatments, we were led back to the front lounge where we each got a chocolate covered strawberry and water. Jamie, Sarah, Laura, and Vanessa were so hospitable and professional. I definitely felt welcomed here and can't recommend La Dolce Vita enough.

When she came back, she saw the 3 of us on our phones and repeatedly commented "what a sad world it has become" because we were not socially interacting with each other. Then she proceeded to say, "In the past, I would introduce people to each other and they would talk." I replied, "Had you introduced us, we would have chatted." I was trying to put the onus on her due to the negative comment she kept making. She again repeated what a sad world we live in after my response. Speaking to my husband about this, he also found her comment to be very off-putting. Staff should be trained to be more socially professional. Now onto my massage: it was just OKAY. My masseuse was really nice, but I could smell a hint of cigarette on him, especially whenever he spoke, and that is not pleasant when you're trying to enjoy a nice, relaxing massage. He also had one sharp corner of his nail that scratched me when he worked on my neck and shoulders. It wasn't a super sharp scratch, but noticeable enough that it bothered me. The massage itself was lackluster and it felt as if my masseuse was not well-skilled or is still a trainee. They served us chocolate covered strawberries afterwards, which were delicious. I personally wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and don't see myself ever going back.

Tried to get a clear image of my nails, sorry if it is slightly out of focus…read more For my review, I liked a couple things and I didn't like a couple things. 1. I wish their hours were a bit longer. For example they are open normally 10-7pm. I am a morning person so I would have wanted to come in before 10am. Also I wanted to originally go in after work on Friday, but by the time I would have gotten home + got ready to go to the salon it wouldn't have been enough time for my service and they'd be closed. 2. During my actual service my nail tech for my manicure was a bit late. This didn't really bother me until the end when her next client was waiting and I felt like she was rushing. She did give a great hand massage though. 3. I also noticed I think the manager or owner talk to the other clients while on the spa chairs - but not me, even though I'd been there since opening. Not a big deal but I wanted to be included haha 4. The actual manicure was sloppy, not sure if you can see in the pictures but the polish in person isn't evenly layered where you can see gaps in the opacity. And then the polish is going over the edges and on top of my cuticle which is a big no - no. I noticed my cuticles aren't even pushed back. There's also debris? And markings underneath my polish and that was like that in the salon after she did it so I know that wasn't me after. These photos are taken the day after. I also got a pedicure but those are a bit harder to inspect. Although they look nice. 5. For the price of $99 + $10 tip to each nail tech = $119 I am not sure if it was worth it for being sloppy. For this quality of manicure I could have probably done it at home and save the money for another salon. I also inquired about acrylic and dip powder to find out that they don't do acrylic which was shocking that a nail salon doesn't do acrylic nails? And the technician who does dip powder was not in that day - to which I would think you had have at least one on duty the whole time especially on a weekend. 6. I did like that they take apple pay and the ease to pay with my phone. And they did say it would take an hour - which it did thankfully. I think everything considered it's probably a strong 3/5. In this economy I would really only like to spend my money at places I absolutely love. P.s. they have a no show/cancellation policy that charges you so I'd be weary giving them your cc info to have on file. I am big on not wasting people's time but 24 hour notice isn't always possible with emergencies. I would prefer a policy like 2-4 hours ahead of time - they also do open later at 10am so hoping that is not counted against the customer.

When I finished with my deluxe pedicure and went to pay for it with the $98 that was remaining on…read moremy Bliss gift card, I was told -- by the woman I believed was the new owner -- that the gift card would not be honored. She gave me some lame excuse about how the previous owner did their accounting on paper. So?! When she purchased Bliss, she also inherited all the money that was used to buy gift cards. I have no doubt that I'd be awarded my money back if I took Bliss to small claims court, but for 100 bucks, it's just not worth it. Instead, I'll find an honorable place to conduct my mani/pedi business. Bliss on Broadway? Couldn't be further from the truth.
