I also asked about the pedicure service because I wanted to do my toes as well and they offered acrylic as well as gel X and regular gel. I ended up doing my pedicure and manicure which was great. HORRIBLE SERVICE (My experience) I walked in and asked for full set and pedicure. She told me to wait outside and come back in 10 mins, so I left to wait in my car. When I got called in it was just 2 ladies one doing nails and the other doing pedicures. The lady who did my nails was very rude and did a HORRIBLE JOB. Would give zero if I could I went in to have my gel x set removed and they just ripped them off. I had to tell them you're supposed to soak them in acetone first. She rips off layers of all my nails my pinky being the worst - bled. I called it then and said I just want to pay for the removal of the set because my nails were so thin and throbbing in pain with just acetone so I would not have been able to endure putting a new set on top of that. Hands down this is my go-to nail salon. I've recommended this place to my family and friends and they all come here. The staff is very friendly and Linh is always very accommodating with all her clients. I know a lot of customers want to be in and out but she'll truthfully tell you if she can take you with a reasonable wait time. I've always been so patient since I know the outcome is worth it. Then the lady who did my nails CUT MY FINGER & instead of putting alcohol or peroxide on it she said i'll be careful and moved to the next nail as my finger continues to BLEED! Then as she's putting the acrylic on my nails a hair from the brush fell on my nail & I asked her if she was going to remove the hair & SHE BRUSHED ACRYLIC OVER THE HAIR... WTH!???? AND she did not even CLEAN UNDER MY NAILS or even touch my cuticles before putting the acrylic on so when she filed my nails with the drill it hurt so bad I could've cried!!! smh... BTW acrylic is NOT supposed to burn ... they must be using illegal acrylic... MY nails look DISGUSTING.. They know the tiny shop in a strip mall with Cozy Toes & new upscale Shabby Chic in close competitive distance that they better go that extra mile. And they do. You know when you get your massage at your usual place and your technician looks off into oblivion (probably planning dinner) and rubs a giant oval over and over again in the same spot? Not here! When you get your massage it's similar to reflexology; they push their knuckles into your feet, pull your toes, really work their fingers into your shin muscles. It's worth spending the extra few dollars for a package with a longer massage. I got the Perfect Pedicure and the Gel manicure for $46. 2.5 because I am just not A-Ok with my manicure. Oops. Sorry. I was really excited to try out this place as I'm looking for a place to get my nails done on a regular biweekly basis. I never intended to pick this place apart, but I was left feeling very frustrated over what I think was a waste of $25. To start, yes, a gel manicure for $25 is very affordable. However I believe it was a waste just because now I'm stuck with a manicure that I'm unhappy with for 2-3 weeks. Pros: affordable, fairly clean shop (still an emphasis on the fairly...it wouldn't hurt to wipe some surfaces down, guys) Cons 1. Staff: no one was rude, but no one was personable either...anyone I had an interaction with did the very minimum in terms of showing any friendliness 2. Inconsistency: the person doing my nails would do some things to one hand, then not the other. An example of this was putting moisturizing liquid of some sort on my right fingernails and scraping (right before working on my cuticles) and then not doing it on my left. There were a few other things too. To be honest this didn't bother me that much but is something worth mentioning. 2. STINGY!: Oy did this piss me off as I politely watched him "paint" each nail. This guy went over my nails with gel for a total of 4 layers of color however my nails look like they have about one and a half. There were many moments that he did not even stick the brush back in the gel and was just gently moving the brush with HARDLY any gel on it. What resulted was a manicure that does not look like the color I chose because there is a certain level of translucency due to hardly ever dipping the brush back into the gel for MORE GEL. I noticed he was getting the absolute minimum amount of gel on the brush and during the third layer I politely said, "Oh it looks really light," to which he politely mumbled something I didn't really understand and continue doing his thing (hoping he would put on a really thick 4th layer). Anyway he didn't, and on some of my fingers you can still see the faintest lining of my white half moons of my nails. On my right middle finger my nail was broken (he glued it back) and you can actually see two faint dots underneath the gel. Problem would simply be solved if he wasn't so stingy with the color. I chose a beautiful dark and deep, warm mauve color (Thanksgiving is around the corner!) which I took a risk with because I usually wear black or other dark colors that appear black/super dark. My manicure from spa nails looks like a sweet, clearish polite pink. Will not be coming back. read more

I stuck it out BUT rather than use a color- which he would likely mess up- I changed and opted for clear gel. I think I can paint my own nails better than he could plus I was not loving the bad attitude with which he yanked on my arms. The last straw- and reason for this review- is that after all of that- he didn't get all of the red color OFF of my nails and painted clear gel over the red spots! HORRIBLE!!! Ask for ANNA (Lee) she does an amazing job and very attentive and caring towards your needs! I am very picky with my nails and she's seriously one of the best I've had. She has years of experience (15 years) and is very detailed with her work. She does a great job at filing my old acrylics off and nicely file down the new acrylics where my nails look super natural!! I love how she shape it exactly how I ask and I get sooooo many compliments on my nails on a daily basis and people always think that my acrylics are my natural nails, that's how amazing she is! Also, she does a great job at painting, always very even, thin, and nicely coated nails after every visit. I'm more than happy that I've found my go to nails lady! :) Btw, I read a bad review someone left, she's definitely nothing like that. I've been here so many times and although she is new to the shop, she does an amazing job and is very attentive towards her clients, such as myself. My sis came in and all her nails had horrible fungus from a bad treatment elsewhere because they didn't sanitize the tools properly, well Anna was the only person who was able to cure her fungus out of four salons and two doctors that we've to! Nail Technician Hanna did an excellent job for my manicure. I do not utilize nail studio often and in 2020 this lifetime nail bitter broke this bad and disgusting habit. Still not good at trimming my nails and my wife does it for me quite often. With her busy work schedule I occasionally have to go to a studio and finally I found a small place in my neighborhood by chance picking up a business card that was on the ground in my morning walk. I texted Linh who responded promptly and was extremely accommodating and set me up with Hanna who has over 10 years of experience in the field with a professional demeanor and nice smile , too! It did not take long for me to be comfortable and was at ease to get pedicure that I did not plan on getting this afternoon. The cost for both was reasonable from what I remember from the location my wife goes it was much less when she treated me just over a year ago. There's a reason this place has 3.5 stars. First thing I want to mention is if you decide to risk it all and come here, PLEASE use a credit card when paying in case you need to dispute it. If you use cash, you're screwed. Second thing- Sanitation methods, or lack thereof. When I was here getting my old polish soaked off in a bowl full of acetone (with my upper body and arms arched to the left, pretty uncomfortable set up after awhile) I saw the nail tech take off the drill bit and toss it in my used acetone. This acetone had my old flaked off polish and dead skin at the bottom of the bowl. I saw her take out another drill bit from an old altoid tin. I did not see any tools come out of a sealed packaging, did not see any barbicide, nor autoclave. The next nail tech started on my acrylics. While she was making the coffin shape I asked her "could you file this side more, if you don't mind?" She told me in a snappy way that she already said she would. Keep in mind all the techs here have very broken English, if any at all. I'm not saying that to be rude, just being upfront about it here. This is an honest review. Next I asked her to please not buff my (natural) nails. The lady that soaked off my acetone was next to us and confirmed that the tech would not do that. AS. SHE. PROCEEDED! to use a rough drill bit directly on top of my nail plate. About 10 seconds for each nail. I was cringing as this was happening and she kept telling me to just relax. I didn't really know what to say because I was worried I wouldn't be heard and the damage had already been done. I will say that the shape was mostly good. But four of my nails, when lined up with my other hand, were at different lengths. And while getting my gel polish painted, I politely had to ask the check the tech to paint the side of my nail. I had to mention this for 4 or 5 different nails because if I didn't that she would have told me to put them in the lamp with the side of my nail unpainted. Their uv lamp does not have a timer so they eyeball. They don't set a timer or look at a clock . Another thing I want to mention, is when the tech put the nail extension on, she did not file the nail dust off before gluing them on. And when she pressed them on, she did not press them on all the way/for enough time. I can see where there is a slight lift when I view from the bottom of my nails. I am concerned that fungus and bacteria may grow because that was not properly set. Be careful out there. read more

I had a set already and the gentleman had to correct there mistakes....and I love how they came out. Downside to this place...a bit stuffy and small but I would go back! 07/06/2014-- It has been almost 2 weeks since I received a fill from the gentleman that works there. I will have to say he spent his time touching up a fill I got from another place, but the shape of the nails are a little misshapen. They also don't try to get into all that small-talk. If you want to just relax in your own little world you can do that and not worry about having to go into chatterbox mode. They're also clean - right after getting off my seat they wiped it down and they did the same after another customer had her nails done. Sister and I went to get our mani-pedis done here the day before her wedding since she saw the 4.5 star rating on Yelp (I failed to notice till after that it had only a few reviews!) We decided to go there since they were staffed well enough to take care of both mani-pedis at the same time, unlike other places she had called around to stating that they could only take care of us one after the other. There was just one otheer customer there, getting her feet scrubbed vigorously as we walked in. I shuddered inwardly, since I am horribly ticklish and detest having my feet scrubbed. Who am I kidding? I generally consider my feet and hands to be rather intimate, and I can't say I really like them being handled by perfect strangers, so I was slightly relieved when I realized it was the lady cosmetologist, not the dude one, that would be handling my extremities! They're pretty old school here; nothing fancy - just your average dark pink spa chairs and the exclamation of "You pick color!" coming from the manicurist before you sit down. She presented me with a laminated sheet of package options for me to choose from: callous removers, leg scrubbing, hot oil treatment, things like that, and seemed confused when I said I just wanted it straight up, nothing kinky, as every now and again, she would offer the aforementioned services in heavily accented in English. Before painting my nails, it was the requisite command of "You pay first!" which Sister did, since she was kind enough to treat me to the mani-pedi. Our manicurists both looked a bit bewildered as we explained a few times that we were paying together. It wasn't bad - the two of us got out of there for a bit over $60 total, and the mani-pedis looked great. My fingernail polish already chipped, but my fault since I didn't opt for the gel mani. I'd recommend going there if you need something done on the fly, but if you're looking for the spa experience, I don't think I'd choose here. All in all, we looked great at the wedding :) read more
