As a customer, I'd like to say that Ready Storage has provided the best service, clean storage area, and well within my price range. I've had a storage unit in other places, and never received the quality of service like I get from this place. The staff is super friendly, and they are lenient with rent, (due date 10th of the month, which is PLENTY of time). Also, any storage facility will charge for any trash left behind, its a standard rate. Remember to take everything with you to avoid additional charges for dumping. Excellent storage place! I looked around at different places like public storage and extra space, but they wanted to charge me too much! The managers are really down to earth and enjoyed helping out from the start. I only wanted a place for my surfboards and my books from school. The place is right by the 710 freeway and 5 min from the beach. I got a small storage here for ONLY $39 for a whole year with no contract! CLLEEEAN! I have to review again. About two weeks ago, they called to remind me that my rent was due. I forgot, as most of my bills are auto-pay. Since this is private property I noticed that they screen for individuals who try to use storage for illegal items. I needed a storage unit for two months, and Ready Storage had exactly what I needed in between moves. Pros: 1) The fun golf cart to tour the grounds. Sure, we could have easily walked, but I'm a sucker for riding shotgun in a golf cart. 2) Very friendly staff who explained everything in crystal clear terms. 3) The manager lives on the facility grounds, so there is never an issue with security. 4) The entire facility and my unit were clean. 5) The rental termination process was just as easy as signing up for the unit. Cons: 1) Having to get out of the car to punch the security code for the gate opener. 2) This really isn't a big issue, but there are people who practically live out of their storage units; they're not sleeping there, but when passing the multiple units they rent it's clear that these people's lives and belongings are all there. (Or they're extreme hoarders.) I'm sure that if the manager didn't live on-site, these people probably would live in their units. I never felt unsafe with these people around, but I'm sure it cuts down on the number of available, empty units. None of these "cons" are dealbreakers. Summary: Excellent for my short-term storage needs with excellent customer service to match. Even better if you need a drive-up unit (if available). read more

When I first went in, the information the employee gave me was the same as it was when I had called to get a quote originally. I found this place on yelp and it seem close by and convenient for me. Not only is it convenient but the staff during calls and when I came in answered my questions adequately and nicely. Juan has been so helpful while I've been trying to figure out a situation to haul an extreme amount of junk out of a unit. He doesn't treat this place like a business, he treats his clients like real people. He allowed me the extra time I needed to save me $1000 that haulers wanted me to pay to have the junk out in time. When I called the dumpster drop-off to tell the driver that he approved a bin this large to come in because he willing to help any way he could, even the bin drop-off driver was shocked that any storage business was so kind and understanding and he had NEVER heard of that before. Ready Storage was a great and convenient place to store my bins and other miscellaneous items that didn't fit in my small one bedroom. They are a safe location. Never had any issues during the year and a half that I stored my items there. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are also flexible with late-payments as long as you pay by the 11th of each month (otherwise you get a small $15 fine). Highly recommend them. read more

Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED! I've been putting up with constant billing problems for years. No concept of customer service, especially with long time customers. Now they want to charge me $25.00 for leaving 2 small empty boxes behind but they provide NO WAY to get rid of your trash. That was the LAST STRAW ! I have been a customer here for the past 4 months...I pay my bill before it is due... 1st time I have been to my storage it looks like some one pulled my door off track & I told Manager Juan the problem & Juan put in an order for a door replacement & I took pictures of the door... Since the office has the only key to my storage we try to come on the weekend since we have to go into the office every time to ask for my KEY... I went into my storage 2 weeks later to check the status of my door & to put more items into my storage...everyting was fine nothing out of place... Went this past weekend to get some items out of my storage & again my door was off the track & I took more pictures and asked WTF is going on with my door? Asked for Juan & I was Juan will out of the office until Tuesday 2/28/17..Asked the Manager Juan to give me a call I want to know if someone is messing with my storage or what??? 32 days later I get a call from Juan saying I wanted to let U know Ur door is fixed without addressing the door being tampered or the inconvenience of not having a key for 32 days with... Just come pick up Ur key the door is fixed... WTH....I informed Juan this is customer service & there is a way U deal with U customer not arguing with them & tell them he doesn't believe that some one was tampering with my door & I have pictures??? Once I asked for the Supervior/ Manager/ Owner or the BOSS... Than Juan told me he is helping me by offering me another storage UNIT??? & further stated to me today after 32 days that he lives on site & is available to me because he knows I didn't have a key...I was just told this B.S. today...
