I just wanted to mention some highlights of working with LAP Demolition: 1) Luis came out the same day I called him to give me a quote and sent me the estimate right when he said he would. 2) The quote was significantly cheaper than any of the other quotes we had gotten, and the quote was written very clearly so we could see exactly what we were paying for. 3) Luis was very helpful and friendly and pointed out helpful details, such as suggesting we leave the support boards on the house until we could get stucco work to repair the exterior. He was also very flexible about the date of the demo as we wanted to schedule it for two weeks out, rather than doing it immediately. 4) Luis and his crew arrived right on time the day of and completed everything within about 4.5 hours. It all starts with demolition and the team from Cooper Environmental led by Mariano did a bang-up job. No pun intended but there was quite a bit of banging going on. I went with Cooper Environmental because they were the most communicative and they were very reasonably priced. They took away most of the old appliances (the fridge didn't fit), but they definitely hauled away all of the old cabinets, countertops, flooring, and backsplash. It took the team of three a few hours and I couldn't be any happier than I am with the work that these guys performed for a reasonable price. Will I ever demo anything again?
