We requested Mr. James Palma Services to tear down our 25 year old 10 X 40 wooden patio cover. James & 1 other man did the job & they did it right! Just after a few hours of work, I told James that we definitely hired the right company! Not only was his quote reasonable, they did to job systematically & did a great job leaving our back yard clean! Also, James was great with communication, something that is important to me. He told me when he would arrive, when they were going to lunch, etc. They are quiet men who worked hard & did a fanastic job! If we ever need any demo work, we will call Mr. James Palma Services without calling another company. They are that good! Thanks, James for all your hard work! We are extremely happy with the job you did. We already referred you to one of our friends. Sending you best wishes, m~ read more

We found Mr. James Palma Services on Yelp and were impressed by the many 5-star reviews. After hiring them to demo our kitchen, I'm happy to add one more. This family-run business is truly top-notch. Jair and Veronica, a husband-and-wife team, arrived on time and worked nonstop to dismantle and remove our old kitchen cabinets and countertops. They were efficient, professional, friendly, and left the space spotless -- not a speck of dust. Their extremely fair pricing and exceptional work ethic really stood out. Don't underestimate this dynamic duo. If you need demo work done, call Mr. James Palma Services. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended! read more

I found this business on Yelp when searching for a trash hauler and requesting quotes from multiple businesses. They were quick to respond, reasonably priced and professionals. In the process of repairing the foundation of our house, we needed to remove previously installed grade beams, which is a huge amount of concrete attached to the house foundation (about 2-4 feet deep and 2 feet wide). I called up Mr. James Palma Services and they arrived the same day for a free estimate with a very reasonable price. I was skeptical at first because their price was less than half of what I was getting from some of these other big companies, but James ensured me they would get the work done otherwise I wouldn't have to pay a dime. So I decided to go with them. I'm so glad I chose their service because they did an awesome job removing all those concrete! They worked tirelessly for a week and got it done in time for the foundation repair guys to start their work. Even the foundation guys were impressed by their work! They also hauled away all the concrete. I highly recommend them! read more

Reliable, fast, efficient, clean and a great price! What more could you ask for... they did a great job!

Thank you to Mr. James Palma and his son for helping us with a quick removal of our 3 couches! Yelp helped me send out a quote request to this business and they gave me the best one. I would definitely use them again for any junk removal and highly recommend them to any friends or family. Thank you again! read more

Cant say enough good things about this company. They did a full pre-stucco job demo on a 2 story house in 3 days. Very professional, hard-working and thorough. Family owned and a pleasure to work with. you wont regret your decision to go with them. had some other demo companies give me the run around and ridiculous estimates. These good people were honest, straight-forward and did a top notch job. 5 stars! read more

I'm in the process of moving and needed two sectional couches and mattresses removed. Requested quotes to several places via Yelp and Mr James was responsive, flexible, and reasonably priced. Best value out of all the quotes I received. He arrived in a timely manner despite the rain and was great at communicating ETA so that we could have everything ready to go. The whole process was very smooth - in and out in less than 10 minutes. Super professional guys and definitely recommend their junk removal services if you're shopping around! Mr James Palma did a nice job installing road base and DG in my backyard in preparation for artificial turf installation. He removed the sod, excavated the yard and delivered the material, which I purchased at San Diego Rock Supply. He used a plate compactor to compact the material. He left the job site clean on completion of the project. read more

First time I needed something demo'd in our property and wasn't sure where to start. I inquired on pricing and they stopped by to provide a very reasonable quote on tearing down and hauling away a wooden and concrete shed. They were not the cheapest nor most expensive. However, they knew what they were doing, communication was fantastic, and were very considerate and professional. They were very responsive and communicated well leading up to the day of the demo of our shed. They showed up on time, very meticulous, and did a fantastic job. They swept up all of the dirt and debris and hauled it away. Would highly recommend and will hire again if need services. read more

I got 3 quotes for my ugly rock fountain demo. This company came in at the best price. It was such a great price I for sure thought there was going to be some sort of hidden fees. Everything was straight forward, fast, efficient and no other fees. They even came on a Saturday evening after working all day to give me a quote. I highly recommend this company. read more

Mr James Palma services responded really fast to my messages; the service I received was great for the price and no excuses like "everything has to be in the driveway" as I've heard before. They were fast, respectful and punctual. I will definitely hire them again for my next project. read more

We selected James Palma's services for our whole house strip -- we literally removed almost everything from the interior of our home in preparation for our whole home renovation. We had them remove all the hardwood floors, the carpets, the interior wood shutters, the window coverings, the entire kitchen, including the island, counter tops, and even the fireplace faux-surround -- down to the studs. James and his son, Jair, are both hard-workers, quiet but friendly and approachable. They also dealt well with our occasional -- "oops, we forgot to add ..." request. They showed up on time each morning and worked straight through for 9 or 10 hours each day, neatly filling their haul-away trailer, and sweeping the work areas clean each day. In our home, the hardwood floors had been glued down to the cement with a super-strong adhesive, and the Palma's had to work extra hard, using specialized tools to first separate the hardwood from the glue and then the glue from the cement. The Palma's did an excellent job for us, hauling away all the demo debris, as well as some other junk at our home. We really appreciated their timeliness, hard-work, and good clean up. We plan to hire them again in a year or two, when we help our son with his future home renovation. read more

Reviews were spot on. Reached out. Got a quote. Great price. Communicated their status along the way. Will for sure use them again.

They did awesome work, were easy to engage with and had very competitive pricing. Would definitely use them again!!

This company quoted me the most reasonable price of all for demolishing couple of planters that we had. Originally they thought the work will be done in a few hours, but it took almost all day. They never complained about the work being too much and when I asked how much, he stuck to his original price. I felt bad for them and voluntarily offered them more. Its hard to find such sincere and hardworking crew. I highly recommend them read more

Immediate quote and removed a sofa and loveseat same day. Easy as pie. (Funny, but some other guys insist on coming out to give you an estimate even after you tell them it's a sofa and loveseat. What's the mystery?). James Palma didn't play these hard sale games and that means a lot to me. read more

I rarely write reviews, but the service that I received from Mr. James Palma deserves high marks. First off, I knew my project was going to be a tough one. I wanted to get rid of my very dated, very old attached patio. It was well over 600sqft and had a complete roof with foam and a tarred cap sheet over it. After getting about 6 quotes, I decided to go with Mr. James Palma. The price was right, they were fast, they were friendly and professional, and I will definitely be calling them for any other projects that come up. read more
