Sam is just genuinely and good and nice guy. Very polite and quick to respond. Was able to come out quickly to haul away a large load of scrap wood from our patio covers we tore down so I didn't have to worry about my HOA getting on me about the junk pile in my front yard. Will definitely be keeping his contact info saved for future jobs and will refer any friends or family to him! read more

This is the 3rd time I have used SA Junk Haul and again, if I could give them a higher score than a 5, I would not hesitate. They are one of the best businesses I have come across in San Diego. I am not just talking about a junk haul business, but a business. They are professional, courteous, prompt, and just an overall great team. I will never use another similar service. Thank you SA! read more

I needed two loveseats and some boxes taken away and this was the fastest-responding business and had the best pricing so we went with SA. The owner and his associate were extremely kind and worked really fast. Can't overstate how much we appreciate them for hauling away our junk! read more

2nd time using and they were just as awesome as the first time! So responsive, accommodating and very reasonable pricing! We cannot recommend highly enough - you won't be disappointed! read more

Top notch, first-class service! Have used SA Junk Haul twice now. Reasonable rates, professional (company logo on truck and workers wearing company uniforms), and quite responsive using the Yelp messaging service. They even cleaned up the floor of the garage AND the driveway after picking up the junk with broom/dustpan and a leaf blower. And then went the extra mile using the leaf blower for the entire garage (walls, concrete control joints where debris likes to accumulate, and ceiling corners) to blow away cobwebs and other fine debris. Overall superb service, probably unmatched in at least all of San Diego County. Will certainly use them again in the future. Pics below. read more

We recently tore down a temporary metal pergola and replaced it with a cedar wood pergola. When the project was complete, we were left with extra cedar plank beams and all the metal beams from the first pergola (each piece about 7 feet in height). After spending a few hours trying to cut down the wood beams into smaller pieces, we looked up junk hauling services and reached out to SA Junk Haul based on the reviews - and we are SO glad we did! They will be our go-to junk hauling company from now on. The whole process was easy from start to finish. They provided quick messaging and estimates (VERY reasonable) via Yelp Projects. We set an appointment and they confirmed the night before and also sent a text message when they were 20 minutes away. Upon arrival, they were nice, energetic, smiling, and excited to haul away our construction materials. They were on time, quickly loaded their truck and also cleaned up the sidewalk before heading out. Payment via Venmo was very easy and convenient. I wish we had thought of using a junk hauling service (especially SA Junk Haul) over the last few years with all the renovations we have been going through. Good news is, the projects are on-going and now we know who to call to help us clean up after our DIY projects are over. Highly recommend 100% !! Thanks guys !! read more

There needs to be an option for 1 million stars. I was blown away at the professionalism, great attitude, positive attitude and work ethic. Sam didn't buckle and dime, was paid based on receipts from dump and no upselling. his parents should. e overjoyed and proud of him and his worker. I was blown away by how wonderfully nice appreciative he was for our business. Trust me, if I get my socks knocked off by an awesome experience, I want the world to have the same experience. customer service is now a position title, it's no longer practiced as a real job. Then you meet Sam and he puts a little bit of humanity back in the world with a genuine passion. We are very appreciative. An absolutely chaotic situation was smoothed by a smile and work ethic that should be contagious. read more

On time , gave me 30 minute notice before arriving . Affordable and very professional ! I highly recommend this company !

I had a bunch of construction work done on my house and needed some of the debris removed. I didn't want to pay another dumpster fee, and taking truckloads to the dump with my own truck would have been time-consuming. Also, I would've had to pay a dump fee for each trip. After talking with my wife about it, we decided to just pay for a junk removal service. We hired Sam from SA to come get our debris for us, and he did not disappoint. He was super friendly, arrived within the 2-hour window, and left my side yard looking nice and clean. Also, his pricing was good when compared to the other companies that contacted me. I highly recommend SA, and I will definitely use them again if need be. Thanks SA! read more

Great service, friendly and with a smile. Thanks for hauling my couches. Highly recommend you reach out to Sam if you need junk hauled.

I have never received service from this business, but wanted to post this yelp review because I watched this business help someone in need and figured if anywhere you do your business it would be with somebody who helps others with out needing recognition or money. I saved their information and when I need junk removal, I will be calling them first. In a world where everyone seems to be at each other's neck, it's nice to see helpers. read more
