This was the best junk removal service I've used. My elderly mom needed help removing trash and recycling after a major garage cleanup. Victor Jr. worked with me to price the project based on pictures. (If you haven't used a junk removal service before, they prefer to come in person to give you a quote and take things right away. But you can request a quote based on pictures so that you get multiple offers.) The price was competitive, and though it was just a tiny bit more than the lowest price, the good customer service helped me trust him. When they arrived, Victor and his coworker introduced themselves to my mom and got to work. They finished in 15 minutes. Then, they took the extra step of sending me a text that the job was finished and sent me a picture of the truck of junk when I asked. We'd use Acosta again if we ever need another junk removal in San Diego. Now if only they had a Northern CA branch to help with my own post-move cleanup. read more

Great experience! Victor responded promptly and gave a very fair quote based on photos. They came out that day, took away my junk, and left the areas where it was neat and tidy. Definitely recommend! read more

I used Yelp to get quotes from several junk removal companies, and Victor got back to me the quickest. I waited to hear back from two other companies before deciding. Yelp messaged 5 business, 3 got back to me that day. Although Victor's quote was a bit higher than the others, we ultimately chose him because he had the most reviews and positive feedback. One of the reviews mentioned how he supported a kids lemonade stand and that won me over as well. Acosta offers military and first time customer discount. Victor initially told me that three people would be coming to work on our project. When his other team members finished a job nearby, he called them over, so there ended up being six workers total. They worked quickly and efficiently and made a big difference in getting everything cleared out. What really stood out was that they didn't just remove the junk -- they also swept and cleaned the area afterward, which we really appreciated. Overall, we were very happy with their work and professionalism. Because of the great experience, we decided to book them again for landscaping. I saw on several of his business photos before and after pictures of landscaping work. I asked if he could recommend a move out cleaning and will be working with the workers he suggested. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a responsive and hardworking junk removal team. read more

Victor (the owner?) was very easy to communicate with. They were able to remove and haul away our old built in fridge when we were having a hard time finding anyone who could get the job done. He and his men worked fast and were very careful not to damage anything in the house, even when moving such a big, heavy unit. Victor and his men even helped install our new fridge which was a huge help to us. I would definitely recommend Acosta's Services! read more

If I can give you 10 stars, I would! Victor quickly responded to my inquiry on Yelp and was very helpful via call and text. We needed last minute trash hauling service and he was very patient with my texting throughout the day. (We kept adding more to the list of things to be hauled.) He arrived as scheduled and did everything so quickly! He was already giving us a discount for being first time customers but after learning that my husband is military, he added an extra discount which was a very pleasant surprise. Victor, thank you so much for your help especially when it was very last minute! It gave us some peace of mind during a very stressful move. read more

We had Victor and his team demolish our master bathroom tub surround tile and shower. His team did an extraordinary neat job with the demolition. The took great care setting up dust barriers nearby rooms and hallways to minimize spreading dust. They were able to cleanly remove all the tile, cement board and shower pan without damaging any surrounding walls. Most importantly, they were able to preserve our bathtub and flooring. This was very important to us and Victor understood our concerns and exceeded our expectations. The whole team showed great respect for us and our home. We look forward to having Victor and his team return when we need them. read more
