Started out with a 8am appointment on a Monday , no one showed . I waited 4 hours and finally got a call from Jason they were not coming . They showed up the next day assuring me they would take down the drywall and treat everything then rebuild everything just like it was . The contract said they would come out repeatedly and check the moisture levels , no one ever came out . When I contacted Jason about the rebuilding he said his painter wasnt very good , to find my own painter . Then he said his drywall guy was messy and he had no one to put back in my washer and dryer . So he was not interested in doing any rebuilding like was promised . So I could of been finding people to do the work in the days that everything was drying out . When I texted him about all this he never responded . If I knew all this going in I would of went with another company that actually does what they promise . Do yourself a favor and find another company to mitigate your water damages . read more

WOW, what a top-notch, friendly, knowledgeable, professional organization. Do not let the fact there is only a smattering of reviews (though few they praise SDCO highly) stop you from calling them and entrusting them with your business. Jason answered my email and was a prompt and clear communicator. We chatted about my problem and he gave me a semi-diagnosis over the email and the phone as to what he thought the issue might be. He told me that Mike would be calling me to arrange an appointment. True to his word, Mike called and let me know he would be finishing his current job and be in my neighborhood in about an hour. Mike is truly unbelievable. He can do pretty much ANY job from the smallest to the largest. Mike is not only a gifted plumber who really enjoys his work, but he is courteous, clean, funny, punctual and a pleasure to chat with. Let's be honest, plumbing problems SUCK. It is so very refreshing to have found a plumbing company that I feel will treat me fairly when it comes to pricing and an organization I can trust implicitly and that I don't have to shop around. Billy and his team are amazing! We had a malfunction in our faucet touch system and it leaked into our walls around our island/under sink. We called water mitigation specialists and they came out that very day! They started the drying process and were super upfront about what we needed to do. (We had called an initial company and they seemed shady from the start with all of these extra charges so I sent them on their way and called Billy) Water Mitigation dried out the area and started work on removing the damaged parts of the wall, their team came out on a regular basis to make sure the work was being done right and we were happy with everything, it's like nothing happened in the first place. After being away from home for 3 weeks, my daughter informed us that there was no hot water, came home to find the hot water heater busted and leaked on the pedestal it was on. CalledWater Mitigation Specialists on the recommendation from the plumber that was going to replace the heater(Plumb 365). Billy came out the next day talked me thru the process made me feel real comfortable. BTW insurance company sent someone else and all they said was put fans on it " it didn't look that bad". Thankfully Billy and Tristan came the same day as the plumbers and found water damage in the walls, they sent up air handlers and a dehumidifier for 4 days and had Someone(Jason?) come and repair the drywall it looked like nothing every happen. They were in contact with my insurance company and my claim was approved right away. The insurance company played a trick by taking a week and then disapproving an original mitigation, and then demanding a 2nd time estimation. I called back to this company for a second estimate after about two weeks after struggling with the insurance company. Jason explained, followed up with the insurance adjuster, provided clear explanation to the questions I have asked the insurance company for long time without being answered, and explained to me about the mitigation service need. This company is awesome! Billy came out to inspect a failed water heater the same day I discovered the leak. They quickly responded and fixed the problem. They were honest about the extent of the damage. These guys use the same computer program that the insurance companies use so that no information is lost in the translation, making filing a claim easy.
