Until I confronted with my evidence, worker claimed "he was told otherwise by his guys- but he'll call to doubel check"... the same guys I'd spoken to 20 minutes earlier before documenting everything Classic insurance company playbook: deny, deflect, cover But Here's Why Joey Gets Five Stars Anyway: Even though he didn't get the job, Joey remained professional and helpful. When I had questions about industry standards and proper protocols (because the big company's approach felt increasingly sketchy), Joey took the time to explain things clearly and honestly. No agenda, no sales pitch - just a professional helping someone navigate a bad situation. Meaning- i felt comfortable enough to call him and he never seemed to rush me off the phone despite him not getting the job! The Bottom Line: Support local businesses. Support honest businesses. I had a pipe leaking in the ground floor of my condo where I had water damage and the water walls affected with mold and damage to the carpet. Joey was very communicative with me on every step of the repair from cutting out and drying the walls, patch, texture, baseboards, paint and carpet replacement-seamless from start to finish. Horrid experience with this company. Extremely immature management. They parked in places they were not authorized to park on property, resulting in over $400 in towing fees I had to pay because they were blocking my access with their vehicles constantly.. instead of parking in the DESIGNATED SERVICE WORKERS PARKING AREA -which was 20 yards away from my personal paid parking spot. This issue wasn't just once, it was ongoing for 1/2 year and they did not listen or care. At this point they are refusing to simply half the towing expenses with me - which is more than reasonable. . I didn't hire them - the property management did. They stopped responding and hid once I brought up the issue with their management. I had to get the property management involved in order to even receive a response. This has been going on for over a half a year. I don't want them back. ever! Don't hire them - they don't take responsibility for their actions, a true mark they lack integrity as a business. Even if they did ever own up and pay half I'm still stuck with over $200 in towing fees for something I didn't do.. nothing about that is fair to me. So far I haven't received a cent and they're hiding. I will post pictures and evidence shortly. I have text messages asking them to stop parking in my paid space and my surveillance camera shows date and time they continued to park in my space and sprawl out their equipment. Horrid. I will update shortly. --- I found several negative reviews on Google for Flood Solutions. One review stated that flood solutions damaged things inside their home and then tried to hide and also things were stolen from their home from the flood solutions workers. Please search the internet. I also had items missing in my home. There are several negative reviews on the internet, not just Yelp. .. update - Flood Solutions contacted Yelp to try and remove this testimony instead of having integrity and fixing the issues at hand. How many other customers testimonies with horrid experiences have been erased? That is dishonesty at its core. Do not invite this company into your home. Extremely childish. read more

Christian Acosta came out for the free consult/inspection and used his machine to see how much damage there was from a potential slab leak. He was extremely professional, very experienced and helpful. He was honest and told us that we actually didn't need remediation services because he only located a small area of moisture and that we could pull up the carpet and dry it out easily in that spot. Joey was so responsive when I reached out about a ceiling hot water pipe leak that had damaged some drywall and insulation. As soon as we had the plumber repair the leak, Joey's team came out immediately to set up a barrier, cut out the damaged drywall and insulation and dry everything out. After three days of thorough drying, they replaced the insulation, re-drywalled the ceiling and put us back in paint-ready condition. We opted to retouch the area ourselves since it was in an infrequently used area of our home - saved us some money! The price was very fair - we got estimates from two other companies. Joey's was the best and he seemed like the easiest to work with - very responsive and communicated well. That turned out to be the case through the entire project - a good choice for us! read more

You can always find a lower price, but before you hire a local handyman, consider the importance of punctuality and professionalism. If Flood says they're going to be there at 8 AM, someone is knocking at your door at 7:45, anxious to get started. When the exterior door started sticking, someone was there immediately to disassemble the door frame, plane it down and repaint, all at no additional charge. We wanted a second back gate installed and without us asking for it, Flood built it such that from the exterior, it looks like a fence, not a gate. Very thoughtful! We've found our go-to builder.
