It is primarily a mail order business in a niche market with 95% of the plants they sell being well rooted cuttings in 3 - 4 inch pots. Variety is great for a plant collector or enthusiast. Most plants will take years before being mature. Plants are in the growing greenhouses with labels having botanica names. There are no fancy displays, photos, or growing information and very few mature plants to view. It is a treasure for those wanting plants not commonly available from majority of nurseries or big box stores. In preparation for my visit, I made sure that I had an appointment (only open a few days or hours a week, only a couple of people allowed at any one time, and only with an appointment) and had looked through their website a couple of times with a list in hand of the plants I was interested in. I arrived on time, consideration and courtesy matter. Rosa greeted me and was very friendly and helpful in orienting me and finding the plants I was interested in. I ended up buying about twice as many that were on my original list. I'm thrilled with the plants I bought and so glad that this unique, privately owned, business exists.

The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Sometimes it takes a bit to track someone down. They have everything you want and more. If they don't have it in stock, it can be shipped to your house or the store for no fee within a reasonable amount of time. Usually, everything is in stock when I need it. I've also used to shop online and free curbside pickup. It's hit or miss; either they bring it out quickly or they don't, and you have to call the store. Being a HD cc holder has its perks too. I am always getting discount coupons mailed to me or 0% financing offers. They come in handy when it's a large project.

Every visit I have been greeted by many staff people asking if I need assistance and going above and beyond to ensure I find everything I need! I love the competitive prices and that there are always coupons available as a member! Online ordering is also smooth! Pickup in the outdoor lockers is quick and efficient. When he finally responded, he claimed he didn't have it just to avoid looking into it, then it turned out they did have it. Once I showed interest, he raised the price on the exact same tree ( have proof of the price he gave me in writing he didn't care). Nothing changed except that he knew I wanted it. When I asked him to honor the original price, he got very rude raised his voice called me a crybaby lol. EDIT: when he saw the review called me a liar and bunch of other things. He took my info and said Julie (the designer) would get back to me--and she did! I met with her twice and looked at various plants. She came to my home to finalize the plans & we discussed the irrigation changes which were needed. Her crew of 6 showed up as scheduled & got right to work.
