A very fast and easy appointment. Henry texted me and we arranged a time. He came in and was able to rekey the two locks in less than an hour. I would definitely use Ray's Key and Lock again. read more

My 20+ year truck had about three different keys due to wear and tear. I had my ignition replaced some time ago and my remote/fob broke years ago and I was struggling to get into my car without setting off the alarm with my worn out key. After repeatedly looking like I am breaking into my own car in public lots several times, I decided it was time to change all the locks on my car doors. I called Henry up and he offered to not only help program and new remote but to change the locks on the doors so it matches my ignition. Thanks to him I am back to one key and one remote. His lovely wife was also so kind and helpful. Henry was able to get the whole job done in half a day. Best service! This is why I love small businesses. read more

60+ reviews 5 stars? this guy is doing something right, and obviously I am one of his customers. First time customer, i had 3 keys needed to be copied, and it seemed like many many places could not do it or if they did it, they did a poor job that hte key wouldn't open the lock without alot of movement. I had little hope this would work, but am glad I found him. Great job, easy to work with and quick! Thanks again henry! read more

Great service! Professional and fast service. I was able to message through yelp and Ray replied within minutes, providing reasonable prices and advice. Highly recommend! read more

Henry was amazing! Installed my new smart lock in less than 24hr turn around! Contacted the business yesterday at 3pm and he was at my house by 1pm today. Very courteous and detailed on installation to setting up the required app. First time using yelp for home repair needs so I was slightly nervous but the entire experience made me customer for life! Thank you Henry! read more

What a breath of fresh air walking into Ray's Key & Lock for the first time. Cassidy was so helpful and knowledgeable on the subject of older european automotive keys, which is what I was there for. Well that mostly but the two fobs for my newer daily driver needed their batteries replaced, and once again Cassidy was well versed in my car's fobs and got them both renewed for a fraction of what the dealer wanted. Note to self: next time head straight to Ray's Key & Lock for 1st class service all the way. BTW I'm glad to report that the 55 year old English ignition key I asked to be reproduced worked like a charm. I'll definately be back. read more

Prompt and reliable vendor. Re-keyed entire residence. 1 hour. Very reasonable service fee. Would definitely use them again.

I can't say enough good things about Henry. We recently had to replace two locks with new smart locks--one for the front door and one for the garage. I accidentally mixed them up, and after Henry finished the installation, my wife noticed the mistake. We had to ask Henry to reinstall both locks. Henry was incredibly kind and patient, redoing the work without hesitation. He was so professional throughout, ensuring everything was installed properly and even re-keying the locks for us. We were beyond grateful! I don't usually write reviews, but Henry's exceptional service truly deserves recognition. Thank you again, Henry! read more

We had a great experience with Henry, who helped us change a lock, he is very polite and professional young man. The installation didn't take long, but what really impressed us was how patiently and thoroughly he explained every step of the software and how to use it, he made sure we understood everything before he leaving, which we really appreciated, if you're looking for a reliable locksmith, we highly recommend Henry . read more

They made me a small key for a master lock, and charged me $5.00. This was a Rip Off. The answer to your response is simple. I was pressured for time, and you were the nearest place to get a key made. read more

After calling several locksmiths listed on google and yelp, this was the first of only two to actually provide upfront information about pricing and availability WITHOUT asking for the address where we might want the service. I am not sure why other similar businesses insisted on trying to get me to reveal the home address but I found that very unnerving. The young man that came arrived promptly, introduced himself, provided verification of who he was and that he was a locksmith. He reiterated the same pricing that was provided over the phone -- which was very fair given the quotes I had received were either very vague or there was a real upswell due to the city the locks needed to be rekeyed in. Anyways the work was done efficiently and without any issues. The #of keys we requested were provided and all tested out just fine. The locksmith was professional, courteous, and charged very fairly for the services and time. Highly recommend. read more

Ray was super fast to respond and extremely helpful. He was the first to respond and provide a quote and rushed over. I bought a Baldwin Electronic Deadbolt and selected Ray's Key & Lock to install it because they had good reviews and were close. I've installed deadbolts myself but this appeared complicated. Henry came and did the installation. He was very careful to get the alignment correct so the deadbolt open & closed smoothly, and did all the necessary setup/programming carefully and efficiently. I asked if he had installed these before and he had. It turns out his Dad started the company and Henry used to go to job sites when he was a young kid and learned about all the different types of locks. Ray's Key & Lock is definitely recommended. read more

I highly recommend Ray's Key & Lock for your locksmith needs. Henry from Ray's was very responsive when I reached out asking for a quote to install a digital smart lock. He gave me a great recommendation for which lock to buy, which was much appreciated since there are so many to choose from! Henry was professional, friendly, on-time, and provided quality work. In addition to installing the smart lock, he walked me through the process of setting up the app on my phone and gave me a quick tutorial. He also rekeyed the remaining locks in our home -- all for a very reasonable price! read more

Henry, Ray's son operates this long time local SouthBay business was great. He was quick to respond, on time, has excellent skills, clean, courteous and efficient. Oh, and if either Henry or his wife can't pick up the phone, you simply leave a message to which they respond, without having to "wait for the next available agent" . I tried to call some other service, who imply that they're local, but hung up after 10 minutes in frustration. I was totally satisfied with this neighborly business. And he does NOT add on a surcharge, just because you happen to live in the 90275 Zip code. Definitely 5 star service. read more

I contacted Ray when I lost the keyless entry fob for my new car. The dealer was going to charge me $677 for a new one. I contacted Ray to see if he could replace for less. He did order the OME key fob & program it within a week & saved me $277! I highly recommend his business! read more

They were able to program a new key fob for a 2019 Chevy Traverse and cut the new key blank with no problem.

Rest assured, Henry is a jewel. He will be the only locksmith you will ever need. Prompt & professional, returns calls/emails, confirmation call prior to arriving to your residence. We required replacement locks on the backdoor security screen door. Sent photos and Henry immediately got back with a reply and quote (on a Sunday no less!). Henry came out the following day. Neat, polite, kind & courteous and replaced both locks, rekeyed them with same key. He came highly recommended from another friend. If he wasn't so busy & Covid edicts upon us, mom would have probably invited him inside for lunch! Very thorough at explaining what he did and reasonable for the Top Shelf service Henry gives you! Thank you Henry for the solid repair and stay safe! You are an asset to the South Bay and your profession. If you tried the rest, now try the best. read more
