The absolute worst experience one can have ever. Save yourself the headaches and lies and use someone else. These guys have no decency for anyone else's time. They set up a time to do a lock change don't reply for days to emails and after 2 weeks make a time to come and then don't show or call so we call them and they say no we are coming from 3-5 we sat and wait and then call them at 4:30 they say oh no we aren't coming. I absolutely loved working with SoCal Safe. They were recommended by another safe company in order to do a large haul. It was a 3000+lb safe I needed to have removed that originally belonged to a jeweler. When I called, Samantha answered. She was knowledgable, patient and was able to walk me thru the process as I didn't have the keys/combination. Of the 10 companies I called, only 3 companies advised they could handle the job. They were able to quote me a price which was in line with the other companies I had received quotes from. The more that I talked with Samantha, the more confident I felt in using SoCal Safe. She explained that because we didn't have a key or combination that it would require a lot of time as each lock would need to be drilled indivudally. We were getting ready to schedule for next day hauling when I found the keys and combination! Not only was the charge waived, but they were able to get the safe removed in a days time. David and Elvin, the safe movers, called me to advise their ETA. They were running a little late but I appreciate the notice as I understand traffic in Los Angeles is not the best. My main concern with such a massive safe was the risk of the tile getting damaged, but they were so careful. I checked in on them a few times in the event they needed anything and once the job was completed they reached out to me to advise and I met with them to sign off on their paperwork. Alonzo and Manny came this morning to pick up two safes and transport them from my home garage to our new place of business. Both were totally professional; they maneuvered around our limited space with the large truck and picked up the safes with speed and security. Their familiarity with their work was very comforting. They were able to get the two safes into the new place past short steps and through a walkway. As I watched them I was very impressed with their skill and experience. Alonzo has 10 years; Manny has 40 and those are the two who you want moving several thousand pounds of your work equipment! They first come out to fix my safe lock, I paid full amount Then I ended up getting a new lock. It's only been a few months and they are unwilling to come out and fix it. They said just put it back on the screws. Well unfortunately the screws were stripped off when the lock fell off to the side. And now they aren't answering my phone calls. So basically the don't service the work they do. Even if your willing to pay for a service call. Must be nice to be that busy. read more

Needed to replace a safe lost in a fire. Decided to do it right this time and go with a UL rated safe. The best deal I could find was with Paul Gordon at SoCal Safe Company. The next was getting the 900lb+ safe up 16 wood steps without damaging them. Manny, Alonso, and a third guy, I did not get his name, came. They took their time to do it right and viola! the safe was in upstairs and not a ding, or crack anywhere! It was a hot day, a hard job, and yet these guys were professional, polite, and smiling.. at least I think they were but was not sure as it is hard to tell when wearing masks (covid health measures in this pandemic). I've bought two safes from SoCalSafe and they provide solid service and excellent quality safes that pay for themselves literally. One month after I bought the first safe, my store was buglarized, and the crooks took a sledge hammer to it, but only put a couple off dents into the safe and had to leave after 1.5 minutes when the alarm sounded. Ordered a Eurovault EV15 from Socal Safe. Triple checked dimensions, remeasured, thought I had it right. Safe delivered to be installed - and "oops" - my mistake was looking at the wrong column (inside dimension) not outside. Rut Roh... Socal Safe responded like a customer centric business should, did the right thing, and we got the right size in a jiff (keep in mind these things way 900-1200lbs!), Install was in AZ so not a simple thing to accomplish. Highly recommend doing business with these folks. Oh one more thing, very happy with the safe I ordered (solid, easy to work with) and it actually has two locking mechanisms you can optionally use. A key (like a dead bolt) in addition to the combo lock. Very handy. read more

I was in the market for a safe a few months ago. I wish I would have come here first. They have a pretty large selection of safes for all uses, new and used. Paul was very professional in learning about my needs and recommending something with a adequate level of protection. Safes start at ~$500 all the way up to thousands of dollars. You can get a slightly better deal buying from a private party, but I would consider pay a bit more to be sure the safe is in working order.
