0 STARS IF I COULD, THEIR THIEFS!!! Or someone is there at the least. Long story short: I got a bro in the same bldg, A package was delivered and these items were NOT for them, plain and simple. The tracking provided a signature, and even a picture of the business door it was given too. When I called to confirm delivery, (after the business said they didn't have it) the senders customer service notes says it was left with front counter. I went in less than 24 hours to get it thinking it's at my bros place, when I found it wasn't I went to the shop it delivered too - this locksmith - and they didn't get it. They got mail. Just not "this" one. It's signed for. Picture taken of suite # where it's left. But it's "not there". With that being said, any business who's moral fiber isn't strong enough to not steal a package clearly not there's AFTER they signed for it - is pathetic and I wouldn't waste my money with them. I remember coming here a while back and the vibe feeling off when walking in. I remember walking in and 3 people having a conversation and when tehy saw me walking towards them they just stared at me... no "hi" or "welcome" or anything. The job got done but the guy working on my key seemed super annoyed and it was just an odd, unfriendly vibe overall. The key was made but wish the experience was a lot better. read more

This place was a joke. My son bought a key fob from here a year ago. I went to see if they can tell me what's wrong with it because it hasn't been working properly and their answer was it's the door lock actuator. Which made no sense because the fob wasn't working at all. Changed the battery on it and still nothing. When I called back they said I would just need to replace it yearly. They are the best but that means they are busy and you will have to wait but, rest assured, when it's your turn, they will take their time to help you. I needed duplicate keys for my 1985 Toyota and the only key I had was not perfect. It took RBM at least 4 revisions of the key to finally make me a perfect copy. It required them to read the key manually and recreate it. It was definitely a skill only a craftsman can do. I have been coming here for over 10 years. read more

I came to get a few house key copies. I was going to get a few regular ones but they had lots of different, fun keys! I went with 2 regular and one Disney Stitch key! Made for me in less than 3 minutes, I was literally in and out so fast. Paid $12 for all 3 keys made. Prices at Home Depot and Lowe's are at least $5 more! Come to this shop instead. I found RBM on Yelp and one night I messaged them asking for a quote for a re-key on the new home we purchased. They responded quickly with an estimate. I was able to tell them exactly how many locks I wanted and was given the exact price. Whereas 2 other locksmith companies wanted to give me estimates based on time, etc. With RBM, I was initially told I'd get 2 keys free and each key was an additional $2. When I tried to call and schedule, the gentleman seemed caught off guard with the price quote I was given. I told him I had it in writing, but he said he'd honor it. (Found our later, the quote didn't come directly from the inner office but the owner, hence the confusion over price.) Unfortunately, I can't remember the gentleman who came out to my house. He came in the time frame I was quoted. Worked quickly and gave me some advice regarding security, as well as automatic door closers to look into. He was friendly and I appreciated his knowledge. When it came time to get my bill, I was charged for all 4 keys. I didn't say anything even though I should have. Although it was only $4 + tax for the 2 keys which isn't a big deal it still bothers me that I didn't speak up about it. Anyway, I would definitely do business with RBM again if there was a need. These guys are always reasonably priced and are friendly and efficient. I'm usually in and out in 10 minutes or less. Service here is nice and quick. I came in because I broke my car key fob. I didn't want to spend $300+ at the dealer but needed my key fixed in a jiff. Brian was very friendly. I placed an order for remote key on a Thursday from Chris. Chris told me that the remote key be available coming Monday or Tuesday and I will be contacted when it's available so they can program it for me. On Wednesday I called and spoke to Chase. When I asked Chase for updates on the remote order, he kept putting me on hold amd finally he asked for my contact number so he can call me back. As Thrusday came Chase has not contacted me so I called again and spoke to Chase again. This is when he told me that apparently Chris did not place the order so he is going to place an order and it will be available on by coming Monday or Tuesday. As Wednesday came Chase has not contacted me so I called again amd spoke to Chase again. This is when he told me that the ordered remote got delivered to there Chino office so he scheduled me the next day Thursday at 2:30pm so I can go to there Ontario office so they can program the remote. On Thursday at 2:30pm, I was at there Ontario office. That is when I saw the remote that they order did not have a BMW logo so it's clearly not an original remote as what Chris had mentioned to me initially. I figured ok, just program it so at least I have a spare remote. When I asked Chase how long will it take to program he said , "i don't know. i have not done it before "... like really? I was patient and gave him time. After I came back about an hour later, Chase told me that he was not able to program the remote because he did not have the right computer. The correct computer is with another employee who has an appointment with another customer somewhere far. Chase asked me if I can come back on coming Monday so he will have the correct computer and the person who is more experience with my car will also be available so he can work on my remote. First, if this company was professional, they should have placed an order when I first spoke to Chris. Second, Chase could have updated me as promised instead of the customer has to keep calling. Third, when Chase scheduled me for that Thursday and he knows he is not experienced with my car, then he would have ask someone to help him. And they should already have the correct computer to program my car instead of telling me that the correct computer is with another employee. And lastly Chris told me that they are ordering a original BMW remote just like the one I have and when I saw the remote that they ordered for me did not even look the same as my original BMW remote and did not have a BMW logo. I already have a new original BMW remote and it's already programmed for my car for $30 more. I just wasted couple of weeks from this company and is selling me a fake BMW remote. This is the worst shop I have ever entered in my whole life. They sell security locks. The first thing they told me when I entered was that the locks are not secure. This is the worst thing I have ever heard in a shop like this. The next time something like this happens, I will definitely try to report the whole shop or take action. I was tempted to leave at that point, but I did not have that many options. After 10 minutes of talking about which security measures were the best, a bald guy comes and starts to talk with the clerk who was serving me about another female client who was mentally unstable. I was completely disturbed by the entire conversation, especially since there was another client present and they shared with me her private information. Once again, I found myself witnessing a breach of privacy due to the personal and health information revealed about their client. If I had the authority, I would consider closing down this shop entirely. read more

This place is great because I had a difficult key I needed copied which 4 other places could not help me with. I brought it to RBM and even though he did not have the proper key to duplicate mine, Randy took the time to hand craft a copy from a different key. They are very reasonably priced. I had another issue with a lock that I needed a key to be made from scratch. I was quoted from another company for 85 dollars. RBM made one for me for 12 bucks. I will continue to use RBM for all my lock and key issues. You should too. read more

Here is why: They were able to make copy of a key that 3 other companies were unable to duplicate. I was referred to RBM by another locksmith who didn't do automotive locksmithing. Called Avery and he quoted me $90 to remove the ignition tumbler on a vehicle I'm selling for my business. Billy, showed up in about 30 minutes (as I was told) and had that thing out in about 20. Super professional, even put in the new tumbler for me for free, even though the quote was only for original removal. A+ business from another business. read more

Just as we were ready to pack the grandfather clock for a long-distance move, we remembered we didn't have the key to open the glass and remove the pendulum. We called RBM and the owner was sympathetic...he came the very next morning. He had to modify a skeleton key to open it, and he still had it done in under 30 minutes. Best yet, he gave us the key so that we could get the clock set up in the next house without having to wait for the manufacturer to send us a replacement. Oh, and he charged only $50. read more

I've been using this place for over four years. Service used to be excellent and friendly but has really gone down hill in the last six or so months. The older guys are still pretty nice if they are there but the new young kids are arrogant and rude. Most recently went in to get keys copied...but they were copied wrong. Went in to get them copied again and guess what...wrong again. I will not go back for quite a while. ABC Locks on Foothill for a while. I may return when they can the arrogant kids! read more

Found this place on google and their service is really good. They are really knowledgeable. Their prices are very reasonable and if your keys doesn't work for whatever reason they will attempt to remake your key a second time. If it still doesn't work they are really good about just refunding your money. Give them a shot for any of you key needs, they won't disappoint.
