Everyone had a similar price point but this guy seemed the most professional. When he showed up he knocked out the work perfectly exactly as requested, flawlessly executed. Highly recommend! Called and same-day technician came out, Anthony, even though he was fully booked. Charged 1/2 of it would've been if I went through Honda dealership plus he came to us instead of driving to dealership. Had to get remote control keys and reprogram new keys. To add, we were a little out of their service area but close enough that an exception was made.Thinking of customers before business. Will use this company again if needed. We bought a 2014 Toyota Prius C and only received one key. I bought an extra remote on eBay and called American Lock and they came out right away to program a new remote. When the locksmith got here, he spent a considerable amount of time trying to program the eBay remote and determined that the remote I bought was probably fraudulent and had the wrong board. He was gracious and not rude about it, but had the correct genuine Toyota with him to make sure that we were not unable to have two working keys. Thanks so much! read more

UPDATE: Anthony is a good as it gets for a locksmith who delivers on the spot! Today was my 3rd time hiring him for vehicle key remotes and programming. I met him at a local locksmith shop within 20 minutes of his replying to my text! Not only did he take care of business in less than 15 minutes he provided something that I thought only a dealer could do. He had actual Hyundai key FOB remotes. I was expecting some 3rd party knockoff remotes. Cardinale Hyundai in Corona wanted much more $ but worse was they do not carry their own remotes in stock. I would have to drive all the way there to order, pay and come back again. Then...dealer told me ONLY they can program Hyundai remotes. PURE BS!!! I bought two actual Hyundai remotes from Anthony and he programmed in minutes. Can now lock, unlock and open trunk which I could not do before as I had not been provided remotes with the car. Anthony has now provided key FOB service for my two daughters cars and now my wife's car. Good attitude, friendly, answers all questions and was fast. read more

Called this company, informed them that I needed my key reprogrammed for my older model BMW. While it was understood that they cannot do anything with the "remote" to arm my car, they said there was "no guarantee" that the key itself will work on my car. Okay I'll go with that, that's reasonable. But for my car, they charge up front and that is without the guarantee that it will work. So no matter whether the key works or not it, I'm still charged full price. Smh.. Well, at least they were honest that they will charge me FULL PRICE for a questionable, might work, might not work, maybe throw way your money, but hey it's ok because you can always get more right, but at least I'm paid full price as if the key worked job. :-/ I mean they could at least give 30-40% back if it doesn't work. I understand if you drove out to my location (which is literally nearby, but still you came to me) and did the work to reprogram, but to still charge me full price UP FRONT and without a guarantee my key will work, that I don't understand. So as I said to them, thanks for your phone time (and honesty), but I'm not okay giving away my hard earned money. That's why they get the two stars. They were honest. :) read more

The service the employee gave me was adequate, but what really disturbed me was that American Lock & Key is a dishonest scheme. Booked a appointment last week to get a new key made for my Mercedes and the employee that arrived offered terrible service. To summarize my experience with this low grade "company" the employee didn't get their job done and still charged me for a key that did NOT work on my car. My best advice is just go to the dealership. read more

Very great service. Anthony was very nice and professional. After losing my only keyless remote to a 2015 mazda 3 hatchback I called AAA first. They said it was a dealership issue to reprogram a key and could not do it. The dealership quote was $210 for labor, $177 for the remote and $23 for the key that is inserted into it. On top of the charge to Tow my vehicle to Riverside from Rancho Cucamonga. In total, I would be paying close to $1000. After calling a few locksmiths, this was the only company able to program the key. It took him a few hrs but I expected that because of the programming, but only cost me $260. My car has a light on for the key now but everything works great, as it did for my previous key/remote. He even gave me an extra individual key for it and made a copy of my house key. He showed up 30 min after I called, directly to my car. I deffinately recommend this company. Clean, efficient, informative, and professional. A successful resolution to being irresponsible and losing your keys. read more
