I was able to get it out (after a few days and many failed DIY attempts) but that meant bringing in 2 pieces of my key in hopes of some magic. And magic happened, indeed! My grandparents who live the in area call me in a panic around 4 and tell them they are locked out their house. I live about two hours from them and don't have spare keys to help. Called up ABC and they said they could have Dennis come out in about ten minutes as he was in the area. About half an hour later I get a call from my grandparents and Dennis got them in safe no problem. They were about to close but still came out to them! My second time going to this place and my last. I took 2 blank keys for my motorcycle to get cut and they ruined one cause they didn't lock it tight enough and as they began cutting the key flew out. All they said was whoops I guess we won't charge you for the one key that was cut. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received!!! I've been going to ABC Locksmiths for almost five years to get keys cut for a business and this is the locksmith that our Property Management company uses. I recently went to get keys cut and I had the great misfortune of meeting Dennis, the owner. He was so disrespectful and rude for absolutely no reason! I'm shocked that anyone runs their business in that manner and manages to stay in business. Needless to say, I absolutely will never return to that place. Needed a professional to cut my keys for 2013 Ford F350. I ended up with perfect copies and saved huge compared to dealer. It took about 2 minutes. They are located at corner of Foothill and Archibald in Rancho Cucamonga. I programmed the keys myself since I still had two original keys for my truck to program new keys. Now I have four complete with remote entry buttons. I brought my own blanks in for them to cut. Make copies before you lose one because you need at least two keys to program Ford car keys, which can be expensive. read more

The people working here have no customer service and are flat out rude to their customers. Wow, I'm not sure where to even start with this company. Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. Ok, here goes... My office needed to make a copy of an office key and this is the locksmith our Property Management company uses. They keys all say "Do Not Duplicate" so our Property Management Company had given us a letter which gave ABC authorization to make keys for my business. When we had first gone to ABC to get copies of keys about a week ago, we brought them the letter from our Property Management company which gave them the authorization to make copies for us. My secretary told me that ABC had told her that our letter was now on file, so we don't need to bring them the letter anymore. Ok, great. So, I headed over there to get a couple copies of another key. Jordan behind the counter asked, very rudely, where my letter was? Ok, a little rude, but whatever. I politely told him that our letter was on file with their shop and that my secretary had just had some copies of other keys made last week. I also explained to him that my secretary told me I don't need the letter, since their office advised her that they would keep it on file. He then called over Dennis, who I believe was the manager. So Dennis walks up and, just as rudely as Jordan, tells me they need the letter in order to make a copy of the key. I once again explained that my secretary had just had some keys made last week and that our letter was on file. He then told me that the letter is only good for seven days so I would have to get another letter from our Property Manager. I told him this seemed a bit excessive and asked if he could simply call our Property Manager to confirm that they can make a copy of the key for us. He said no, it has to be in writing. I said I understood that and we've already brought it to him, so maybe he could just call our Property Manager and we can both get going with our days. He said "No, we need it in writing. This is THEIR rules, not ours". I left the shop and called our Property Manager Nichole and explained to her what had happened. She said to head back over there to get our copies and that she was going to call them right now to get this resolved. I told her I would rather she first call the shop, get it resolved and then call me back to confirm before I head back over there as I didn't want to waste any more time. Nichole called me back a few minutes later and she said it had been handled and that I could go back any time to get the copy made. I finished a few errands then returned to ABC about an hour later. Jordan was there so I handed him the key and told him I'd like two copies please. He asked if I had the letter!!?? WTF??? I told him Nichole had already called and taken care of this. He said "Well she didn't talk to me!" I said ok, but she did talk to someone so please find out who it was and make me the copies. He said she probably spoke with Dennis but he wasn't in. He said he'd try calling Dennis but if he can't reach him he won't be making me my key. I said "Well I'm not coming back a third time so I hope you can reach him." Wow, if looks could kill I'd be dead right now. This kid gave me the dirtiest look and seriously looked like he was ready to jump over the counter and come at me. He then called Dennis and got confirmation that he could make us the copy. I told him that they got this figured out over a simple phone call and that when I first came to their shop this morning I had asked Dennis to please call Nichole but he said they couldn't, yet this phone call from Nichole ended up working in the end. He said "Yeah, because Nichole called US. We're not going to go out of our way to call her for a customer." Wait, what? I told him I own my own business and WE go out of our way for OUR customers. He then started giving me some piss poor excuse about why they didn't call her this morning but I was already late and aggravated so I stopped him mid sentence and said "Look bro, I'm really late so can you please just make me two copies of this key?" Again, he gave me a dirty look, took the key and made two copies as slowly as he possibly could. He then tossed them on the counter to me, gave me another dirty look and said "no charge". I picked up the keys and started walking towards the door. As soon as my hand hit the door he then said "And I'm not your bro!". I walked out of the shop but took no more than five steps before I turned around, went back in and said "How much are the keys?" He said no charge. I told him I don't want anything free from them so please tell me how much the keys are so I can pay. He said the keys were $2.50 each so $5.00 was the total. I left a $5 bill on the counter, told him to expect a review on Yelp later today and got the $#@$ out of that hell hole! read more

He was extremely helpful ,kind , detailed, and he had another job to get to but he still took his time to do his best with a problematic key i had come in with after closing time. So I went to this place to get extra keys made for my car since I have a habit of locking my keys in my car with no spare. I went there and he got me in right away which was nice and when I went out to the car to see if the key worked it wouldn't unlock my car. It took him 5 tries just to get the key to unlock the car. After about 7 tries they were still unable to get the key to work so they referred me to another Locksmith on Sierra Ave in Fontana. When I went there it only took them 1 try and the key worked so I was in and out in less than 5 mins. This is a great place but unfortunately just didn't work for my car. I still recommend this place because I heard they do a great job and they are really nice. read more

What A Bad Experience I Had To Deal With This Morning. I called and was told the service Rep would be at my house between 20-25 min and they would change me $91.50 just to come and unlock my house front door I had no keys and was waiting outside for over 45 min and couldn't wait any longer. So I decided to call another locksmith and was told he would arrive in 10 min and would be charged $45. So I called ABC Locksmith to cancel and they said the service Rep is in your complex to speak to him and see what we can work out. So I met with their service rep and told him that I had been waiting over 45 min and I canceled cause someone else was on the way and it's half of their charge. His first thing out his mouth was It's Customers like you that are a pain in the ASS. I said excuse me you want to repeat yourself to make sure I heard you correctly. He stated that he was here and ready to do the service, I asked him to leave after that rude and not appreciated comment. I said I will file a complaint and he said who are you gonna complain to. I said simple Yelp to let others know how you do business and your rude comments to customers and the BBB and once I said that he told me I can call Rancho Cucamonga police for what you just pulled. I told him your more than welcome to call them and I will call my attorney and let him know what your trying to pull here. Once he was about to leave my other locksmith showed up and told him I will pay you $50 cash not to service this customer and my locksmith declined. It's companies like ABC Locksmith trying to take advantage of customers and being rude and disrespectful doesn't work. 0 Stars and I advise customers to stay away and be aware. read more

Called ABC on 2 occasions. First time, it was moving day and the truck got stuck in the driveway at the new place. The side gate was locked and Mike came out picked it after hours so we could keep the move going. He got there fast and took care of things. He even gave me a little break on price to reduce the stress. Second time was to install some new locks and re-key the rest. One of my locks had broken and the other 2 had been installed incorrectly by another locksmith company. I wanted the bottom lock to align with the top lock so that when open or closed, the inside latches would line up the same way. Another locksmith company did not know how to do it. Neither did another contractor. I made an appointment with ABC Locksmith. They called me to say they would be a bit late. They showed up 15 minutes later, were very professional, understood immediately what I wanted, and within minutes all 3 locks were installed and working perfectly. The $225 included the locks, installation, rekeying, and the visit to my home -- very reasonable. ABC Locksmith provided exceptional service and I will definitely use them again! read more
