Located in a ridiculously small store front nestled right next to the JC Penny outlet store, you would most likely miss seeing it as you drove either north or south on Haven. I experienced quick and friendly service, and this place would have scored a perfect 5 stars if only they were able to make duplicates for all 3 of my keys, instead of of just 2. Unfortunately, I had to go to a different locksmith for that particular key. read more

Nice little shop ran by a pleasant older gentleman. If all you need is a key made this is the perfect place. However, if you are looking for a decorative key you may want to go elsewhere, selection was scarce when I visited. He seems to work when he wants so you may want to call before heading over. Hours say 11am-5pm for Saturdays, however, from my understanding it is 9am-1pm. Great key shop and would recommend if you enjoy helping small business owners. read more

Most excellent service with a smile! This locksmith was the only locksmith out of 5 others I called that had a key blank for my 76 BMW 2002. Prices were consistent with other locksmiths in the area. Great guy too. Forget the big box stores for key duplicates, I'm coming here from now on. read more

This place is great. I went to another place to make 5 copies of a key and the guy looked at the key and said he couldn't copy it because of the kind of key it is. What?! I called this shop on Saturday about 1pm and Mickey told me to come on down to see if my lock could be repaired for my front door. I arrived and Mickey immediately went to work. He fixed the lick and replace d all 6 pins for less than $10 and in about 20 minutes. During that time he told me stories of his 29 year old business and i feel he was there truly to ensure that I was cared for. The lock was reinstalled and works better than it did before it stopped working. Thanks Mickey! I would recommend this shop to anyone. read more

They wouldn't even let me finish my question and said they did not have the key. How can you tell me you "don't have the key" if you wouldn't even let me tell you what key i was looking for. This is a small shop next door to Goodwill in Rancho Cucamonga. The owner-operator is amazing!! My first experience: I bought a small old lockbox, probably from the 40's that looked like it was made for files. It was locked and no key when I got it. It sat around for ages and one day passing his shop, I asked if he thought he could make a key for it. I brought it in and within minutes he picked out a ring of keys (from hundreds of keys on the wall) sorted thru that ring, found a couple of keys and tried them. Key no 2 opened the lockbox-all in a matter of seconds really. I was shocked! Anyway, he's personable, knows keys and has reasonable rates. Im a reseller so now, buying something locked at a sale or auction isn't an issue anymore. Its always great finding someone who knows their job!! This man certainly does. read more

What should have been a simple job of replacing an old lock for a new one, turned into a whole lot of unnecessary time and money spent , just because this man failed to do the job he was payed to do. He decided for some unknown reason to just rekey the existing lock , instead of putting in a new one, which is what I payed for, I thought. The keys worked, and then they didn't, randomly. When we were locked out the second time Mr. McKey got testy when asked to come help us get in the house and said he could not, and referred us to another locksmith. Is that not UNPROFESSIONAL?!! Long story short, Billy, from RBM Lock & Key Service arrived in under 30 mins. and quickly found the problem to be the old lock being a faulty model that is not even used any longer. Which, if the lock had been replaced as I asked for in the 1st place none of this would have happened. I gave Mic-Key the opportunity to make it right by refunding my initial $60.00, but he, in true unethical style, refused. Save yourself the hassle and your money, and go to an honest guy like Billy. read more
