Yay! Bernice is home safe and sound! My son lost the key to my truck at the gym. I googled my options after searching the parking lot and gym for over 2 hours. Found Locksmith IQ. These guys are great. Had a pretty banged up and falling off the remote civic key held together by duct tape. Decided to get quotes, and spoke to Adam. We were supposed to meet up at a certain time, but I had to reschedule, and he was very accommodating. BEST PART was he used the old remote and put a new housing unit together, with a new key. Combination of great customer service and expertise!! I bought a truck and the key didn't work in the tailgate, so of course I thought it must have been replaced. After all, tailgates are stolen quite frequently. Hence, the reason why I was eager lock mine. I called a few places for quotes to rekey the lock, and I got the run around and a lot of high prices. But Ali was different. He insisted that the lock was simply stuck from lack of use and road grim. Ali walked me through how to freeup the lock and it worked! I called this company at 7:30am Monday morning and by 1pm they were at our house to install a new front door handle set and schlage encode deadbolt; installed a door handle and deadbolt lock on a 2nd door to match the front door; serviced 4 other doors...lubricated for smoother operation; rekeyed new hardware to match our original keys. Total cost was $325 and it was a bargain for all the work they put into our doors. The gentleman who came to the house (cannot recall his name) was very knowledgable and I'd guess has been a locksmith for some years. He was at our house for about 2 hours and really did excellent work...the front doors now close very solid and operate smoothly with no loosey-goosey fit as the old hardware did. Would absolutely call these guys the next time we need any lock work done. Just a minor complaint...he kinda left a mess around the front door area, oily junk from the old door handle hardware. Wish I had laid down a paper drop cloth to catch all the crud, but the really important installation of the hardware was done masterfully! read more

This was such an amazing experience during a stressful situation. My mother locked her keys in her car and after 30 minutes of me youtubing and playing with coat hangers I gave up and called.
