I was ready to spend a couple hundred to get them repaired/replaced and instead they found I only needed new batteries. I thought I had new batteries and apparently they were bad out of the box, that's what caused the confusion on my part. I bought a 2003 Mercedes E320 at an auction last year and it came with just one key. I knew if I lost my only key I would be up shot creek without a paddle. I consulted the locksmith down the street from me to see if he could make a key. He said smart keys like mine are a specialty and referred me to Lockworx in Fontana. I'm glad he did. I didn't catch the name of the tech who worked on my car, but he deserves a bonus. In the process of programming a new key apparently there was a flaw uncovered in my old key. He persisted and worked his way around that issue and wound up making two new keys for me. For that I am very grateful. Bottom line is I have two new keys that work perfectly. The cost was a fraction of what a Mercedes dealer would want. If you go to Lockworx be prepared, they are very busy but that is because they are good at what they do. For the last few months I've been having issues with my remote control for my new vehicle. These guys were able to help me out with a new remote control and get everything programmed in my new truck. I didn't have to go to the dealer to buy a brand new key they had everything in stock. For a brand-new 2020 Chevy Silverado keys are difficult to come by. Especially with programming all these things. Definitely worth the time to go to their shop to have them help you out with anything that you need for a key or programming. If it wasn't for the guy who answered the phone, this experience would of been good. First off, I waited over an hour for someone to open the door for me. I had to go to the restroom so I called back. The man who responded said that they are about to send someone after I had waited for a while. He was rude about it too. Referred by a luxury car dealer in Ontario as the place to go for a new master key as they have the capability of flashing the ECU. A few notes if coming: 1) Be Patient, they are constantly busy their is no slow period or downtime 2) Time, make sure you have it as the ECU flashing make take time. Cutting the key only takes a few minutes. 3) Call to make sure they have your key in stock. They ordered mine and it arrived in a few days. He cussed at me and said he was gonna cut my key and then he returned my key and refused service only because of the yelp review. I spoke to a representative/ tech at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning in regards to my ignition going out on my 2013 Kia Optima. I was quoted a price of $250.00 and told that a technician would be out to me by 3:00 p.m. today the man on the phone also stated I would receive a call within the next couple of hours confirming the time. I never received a confirmation call. I called back at 12:00 to confirm that I was on the schedule for 3:00 p.m. and the man said yes. 3:00 p.m. came and no phone call and no one showed up. I called back. The man stated the technician was on his way and should be here shortly. 4:00 p.m. came no one called or showed. I called back and spoke to Amen who stated the technician was not going to make it out today and they would try and reschedule for tomorrow. I asked to speak with the manager and he told me no. I informed him that it was an emergency and that I needed my car to get my child to a doctor's appointment today and pick up my other children in the afternoon. No one communicated with me all day. I informed the man on the phone that this was unprofessional and if I had been notified I could have made other arrangements with another company. His response was well. Just cancel the service and we won't come at all. He then hung up the phone. I wasted my whole day and had to take an Uber to the doctor and to pick up my children which cost me $50. This was very unprofessional and inconsiderate to say the least. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more
