My mother was in desperate need of a new doorknob/deadbolt. She had some sort of weird set up on her door that had been there for many many years. Recently, we needed to have caregivers in her home, and the door lock situation became even more of a mess. I called JW to ask about replacement and was told to purchase the deadbolt set that I wanted at a home supply store and call back. They were able to come to my mom's house that day. After a few hours, everything was in working order despite the age of this slightly warped door. The old deadbolt was removed and the hole in the door covered, the new knob/handle/deadbolt was installed, the plate in the doorjamb was put in with long screws ensuring more safety in regards to break ins, keys were made and the entire work area was left pristine. I so appreciate their willingness to assist in a pinch. It is such a relief to now have easier access for our caregivers and a set up that my mom can use more easily. Gave these folks a call looking for a skeleton key for a cabinet. Older guy on the phone said to bring in the key and they would match it. Showed up and showed the key to a different, younger guy and he told us we had to bring in the cabinet. He wouldn't try to match the key. It doesn't make any sense to me. Ok...so my stupid garage door remote broke and I had to open it using the key and pulling the string thing. You know what I'm talking about. Only problem is that I moved into this place a year ago and didn't get a key for that. Well, I called this place and Steve came over within 10 minutes. Spent about 20 minutes playing with it and made a key for me. Very nice guy. At that time he could have bailed and left. But what happened was that pulled on the string and the damn thing broke. So Steve stuck around to help me pry open my garage door and crawl in there. He could have left after making the key. But he stuck around and helped me rescue my vehicle from my garage.
