Very fast response and service. I hope I don't have to but would definitely use them again in the future!

After locking myself out of my apartment, they came out timely & professional. I am saving the number hopefully never needing it again but know I can count on them. The price was fair for the service provided. read more

Yesterday I foolishly locked my myself out of my apartment. After calling around and no one available, I was lucky that they answered and said someone would be by promptly. Price was quoted upfront, which was fair. Person that came was so polite. Would recommend them. read more

No-showed my scheduled appointment. I even called to confirm. Maybe don't schedule late Friday afternoons with them?! Update following owner's reply: in the reply the owner admits to no-showing the appointment. Sounds like there were reasons but all I said was he didn't show. He did not try to "make it right" rather he wanted me to remove my review. He hung up on me when I said I didn't feel right doing that and then called me a liar. I have another locksmith coming to complete my work. There are lots of options in the Southbay. read more

Great family owned place. Friendly, helpful and authentically caring. A+ all the way.

RHL&K has been completely unreponsive. We had work assessed in 2020 and made a $550 deposit toward a special order lock. Despite numerous follow ups, RHL&K has failed to follow up on the work. COVID-19 was the excuse early on, but it is now 2023. read more

Excellent service! Surprised by the amount of critical reviews there were. Professional service that arrived in more or less the estimated arrival window(11-1 doesn't mean exactly 11-1, you're not a business' only client and they will get to you when they get to you!) Chris made sure that the problem with my key fob was indeed the job he was called out to my location for and even worked with my mom while I had to give a presentation over zoom call. Finished the job within minutes and both parties were satisfied. Do not hesitate to get a key cut and programmed from them! read more

They were extremely fast and responding to the call and being dispatched out. Loved a big problem for me! We are grateful to have used them and will always refer them! read more

I had a great experience with this company. I called on a Thursday to have my locks changed for my new place on a Saturday. Even though Yelp says they're only open until 3PM on a Saturday, the locksmith (Chris) very kindly came to our place at 4PM. He changed my lock within 10 minutes and rang my credit card up in his van. $59.99 to come out to the location and $17.50 for changing the lock which came with 2 keys. If I'm ever in a bind and lock myself out, I'd definitely call these guys again. read more

Fantastic work. Agreed on a price quickly on Yelp, showed up on time, re-keyed the locks quickly, gave me copies, cashless, safe, clean, and masked. Can't ask for more! Recommend! read more

Lock stopped working again! And they want $300 to fix it after I paid $600 to get it. He said that it's normal for electronic locks to stop working within 2 years and that my family "abused" the lock. Please save your money and don't use this overpriced company (btw they said they r overpriced because they guarantee their work ). DONT USE this company !!!! Ok if anyone out there thinks that a $600 product should only work 3 years then use this company !! If u want it to last longer don't use this company and save your money for a professional and honest locksmith . The headache of a product breaking down multiple times within 3 years is unacceptable in my book. read more

Chris, arrives within 45 minutes as promised. Even though we ended up not utilizing his service. But he is a great guy with reasonable price. Will keep his information handly in case of a future emergency. Thanks Chris read more

They claim to be 24 hour service, but I called at 5:20PM and was told they couldn't come out until the next day. I told them it was an emergency and they said that all there techs are on other projects... REALLY?? All night?!? Here is my thing, I'm OK if you aren't 24 hour. If you are going to promote 24/7 service, BE 24/7. When you decide that you don't want to be 24/7 and the customer ask "do you know someone that is 24/7?" Don't act like you are oblivious to other companies. Just be a good service company and be helpful. Lastly, don't tell a potential customer that "all the techs are on other jobs and can't get out til tomorrow." You're supposed to be 24/7!! Just tell the truth, "It's Friday, me and my guy(s) don't want any more work, cuz I need to hang with my homies and drink beer." I totally get that... had I got that I would not have written this review. Hopefully this will help. read more

Chris from Rolling Hills Lock and Key is friendly and professional. I've used him to get a new factory Infiniti key and programming for 2 of my vehicles. Each time took less than 20 min. If you need an extra key for your vehicle, Chris is the guy to see. read more

Chris saved the day! He responded immediately to my request on a weekend (which most places around aren't open for some reason). A friend had (accidentally) locked the inside door to my place a few months back and when I called a locksmith the first time, they made a key that didn't end up working, which I found out when I was locked out again. Chris came with his full-armored van, created two keys, and even WD-40'd my door (just to make it easier to use the key). He's a complete professional and I'm keeping his card in my wallet from now on! I highly recommend their services. read more

Rolling Hills Lock and Key is the best. Just moved and had a high tech lock put on the front door. Awesome. The installer Chris did such a great job. He was fast and neat as he worked He explained how no-one could get in. This isn't anything like a older style lock than people can pick with Bobby pins. It explains online how to pick one. I feel totally safe thankx to this wonderful and intelligent man. I hope many people will ask for him and this company to do business with. read more

I had high hopes for this company but unfortunately I got disappointed. The original yelp messaging back and forth went well. Christopher was polite and responded fast. The next day as promised, I texted him 4 pictures of my door and he replied back with a quote but right when I texted back to inquire about his availability and book him, he stopped answering. I sent him 4 texts but he never responded (see the attached pic). Anyway I ended up hiring another company who just came and busted the job. read more

Chris showed up and he was great. Good service and on time. Thank you the service was good and very professional.

Great service! I needed a spare car transponder key made and Rolling Hills lock and key did a great job. I sent over a picture of my key and once it was in stock, they messaged me to set up an appointment. Whole process took 15-20 mins and the cost was lower than the other locksmiths in the area that I checked out and of course not even close to the $500 or so the dealer would charge. Thanks!! read more

They don't serve the LA area. I called this morning to request service. The young lady that answered the phone wasn't professional. This review is not about a visit. My mother shared this story over dinner Sunday night. I thought it was very nice of Chris at Rolling Hills Lock & Key She noticed her patio door latch was broken on Sunday morning. She tried to call everyone on the website and only two companies answered her calls. Both of them were on service calls and tied up last Sunday. However, Chris at Rolling Hills Lock & Key said he will stop by on his way home around 7 so that my mom does not have to leave the patio door unlocked overnight. My mom was so grateful for that. My brother came home earlier than expected. My mom asked my brother if he can do something about it. She said "I am sure Chris rather want to go home to his family after a long day than making a house call late Sunday night." My brother was able to put a temporary measure for my mom and she cancelled the appt. the last minute. Chris was very understanding and said "If there's anything needs to be done more, feel free to call me at anytime." I thought this was very professional of him and deserves a review. read more

Lost my only car fob to my 2015 Dodge Charger over a day before Christmas Eve. Couldn't start my car without it. Chris came out and was friendly and prompt. Unfortunately the key he programmed did not work correctly. He explained that unfortunately it was his only remaining key until another shipment. He made it a point to meet me at my house to program a new key and also a key I ordered online in New Year's Eve that he did without a additional charge. Great service! Thx for being professional and making things right. read more

I highly recommend!!! Prices are very reasonable and they are very quick. I lost my car key they came out to my house and made me a new one it only took 20 mins. Great customer service. I called to get a lock replaced and they would not give me a price over the phone. I even gave them the exact make and model of the lock and they still would not give me a price. I then asked what about the cheapest lock and I can replace it with a fancier one later and they would still not give me a price. I then asked how about a range, a minimum and maximum, and they still would not give me a price. Finally, I said that Kwikset told me to ask any locksmith for a price in advance, and any licensed locksmith that was a reputable business would give me a price in advance, and warned me to stay away from locksmiths that would not give a price in advance. This locksmith still refused to give me a price. This locksmith is shady and is not a reputable business in my opinion. Not giving a price in advance is what leads to all the bait and switch tactics that locksmiths are known for, which is what I tried to avoid here. I do not plan on doing business with this company and I recommend anybody reading this look elsewhere for a locksmith who can give a price in advance. EDIT: To respond to the company's response, I have used other locksmiths in the past who were able to give a price over the phone. read more

I lost my only key to one of my vehicles 02 Pathfinder and after searching on Yelp I decided to give Rolling Hills Lock and Key a try. I was given a quote from Chris and was shocked at his price!!! It was by far the lowest I came across. I set up appointment for next day in the evening and he arrived before I expected him. He rekeyed my Pathfinder with 2 keys and made 2 additional keys for gate/house and was amazed how fast it took. Chris is awesome! He provided excellent customer service! I have a few more things to take care of will be calling him back soon. I recommend Chris to everyone... give him a call you will not regret it! read more
