Unfortunately this place just did not do it for me. Ribs lacked any real seasoning or smoke flavor. They were mushy and too fall off the bone. I has rays the roof with sliced brisket topped with hotlinks. It was ok but not amazing. I also tried the bologna sandwich which was better than the actual bbq. Overall, I just wasn't impressed and thought the food was bland and underwhelming.

A favorite to-go spot. Friendly service. Wait time is short. Food is always really good. Pulled pork and sliced brisket is smoked to perfection. Lots of sides and desserts to choose from. The interior is clean and has an old-time feel with antique signs.

Overall, the food tasted great, and is a viable option if you are in the mood for barbecue. We placed an order to go and it was ready on time whenever I arrived. Cashier was very helpful and service was quick. The dry rub ribs were fall off the bone tender and were good, very well seasoned. I forgot to take a picture for this review, as I enjoyed them so much. French fries were really good as well. Although I got my order to go, the interior was clean and would be a good place for small group, gatherings, or a family night out. There is ample parking and it is right off Santa Fe.

Trying some place different, it was good, service was great, OSU won!

Food was good Collard greens and baked beans seemed to be from a can, Mac and cheese seemed made in house, service was great, and OSU won Bedlam!!!

What better way to spend a Presidents' Day day off, than to try out a new bbq place. The wife and I have driven by here countless times, but never stopped until today and I am so glad that we did. The place looked amazing on the inside. I loved the retro decor and the soft 50's music was a welcome addition. The food was great, and I really enjoyed the Ray's The Roof Combo Sandwich and homemade mac&cheese. My wife tried the BBQ Bakers with Chopped Brisket. The food was amazing. Simply fantastic! So glad we decided to stop by today. We will definitely be back.

Service was very courteous and explained menu options and available sides. Go a To Go order and it was handled in a timely manner. Chopped brisket sandwiches were great. I look forward to trying some of their other BBQ selections. Ambiance was typical with cleanliness of the dining area being well maintained. Prices are higher than I'd like, but that applies to most places suffering from Bidenomics post COVID.

Brisket was super dry. Unimpressive for an OK bbq spot. Service was good but food lacked anything worth trying again.

There was lots of signs, art, and memorabilia on the walls. I love looking at this kind of stuff! Nostalgia is awesome! They were helpful and it's easy to order. There's a counter with signs and food on display to entice you. My husband and I both got the 2 meat meal. It came with 2 sides and a piece of bread. I opted for the turkey breast and sliced brisket. I wanted corn nuggets but they were out. Maybe next time? The okra was a decent second choice. It was crunchy and fresh. The mac and cheese was very creamy but could have been a little more flavorful. The meats were both very good. The turkey was perfect! It was very moist with nice smoky flavor. The brisket was nice. I've had better but also had worse. They offered both hot and regular bbq sauce. They were excellent! I tried my husband ribs. They were tender and fall off the bone. They had peach cobbler and pecan pi for dessert. I was interested in the pie but it wasn't made in house so I decided not to try it. We will most definitely be repeat customers of Dale's! Give them a try hopefully you'll have as good an experience as we did!

There is plenty of parking and the restaurant is easy to access from I-35. They even offer a drive thru for those that really don't want to get out of your car. Service: The staff was very friendly and helpful. It makes for a relaxing dine-in experience. Food came out pretty quickly after ordering from the counter. Food: The meats are good, especially the pork ribs. Recommend eating them without sauce because the bbq rub is that good. The thin brisket slices dried out quickly and were not as tender as how I would smoke a brisket. The pulled pork was flavorful, but a little on the dry side, too. The smoked turkey was flavorful, but also dried out quickly. Of all the sides, my favorites were the potato salad and fried okra. Both were fresh and not over seasoned. The sweet tea is delicious. In summary, I highly recommend this Van's Pig Stand and happy they are still smoking meats after all these decades.

We arrived around 8:15 pm (plenty of parking) and ordered a two-meat combo with pulled pork and burnt ends (which we were excited to try), along with a side of potato salad and green beans. There were plenty of tables as they close at 9 pm. A few minutes after placing our order, we were informed that they had run out of burnt ends, which was disappointing. We substituted brisket instead, and although we requested marble brisket, it was extremely dry and overall not enjoyable. Unfortunately, this meal did not meet our expectations. It would be helpful when the kitchen informs cashier when certain meats were sold out so then customers won't be disappointed.

She was personable, very nice, a ready beautiful smile and seemed eager to help us a good dining experience. The rest of our lunch was not anything to write home about. To be fair, we did come in after lunchtime, around 1:30. There were no other customers around, which was pretty expected given the time and it being a weekday. We hadn't eaten that day and had been shopping and doing errands so we worked up quite the appetite and decided to have the dinners opposed to the sandwiches offered. I ordered the pulled pork, not spicy, as I told the lady that my tongue was a sissy when it came to spice. She laughed at that and assured me she would not put any 'spicy' pulled pork on mine. I also ordered the BBQ beans and potato salad. My husband ordered the brisket dinner with fries and BBQ beans. When she brought out the boats of food to us, I thought I may have ordered wrong. The servings of meat were very small, barely enough to make a sandwich with the toast that was served with the 'dinner'. My husband did not fare any better. We were told that these were 'dinner' portions. I truly do not know what we paid $5.00 extra dollars a plate for. The meals with 2 drinks came up a little over $45.00! The BBQ sauce was a bit too vinegary for my taste, my husband agreed. The fries were very good (fries were extra if you ordered them as a side). The potato salad was very good as well. Also there was a pretty big chunk of pork that was spicy to me. I am sure it was an oversight but it took up most of the little bit of meat in the boat. I ate the toast and the potato salad. My husband ate his fries. The BBQ beans, of course, had the same kind of sauce in it that the meat had, again, not to my liking. I have a favorite BBQ place in OKC, S. OKC, Moore and Norman but will keep looking for one in Del city. It was quite a disappointment as we were hungry, had had a great day, up to that moment, and paid $45.00 for fries, potato salad, Coke but we did get a beautiful smile.

As a tourist, I could definitely see how the neighborhood is definitely something that might draw people from visiting, but good food is often found in unknown places. Pros: the gal who took our orders was super sweet and the cook that came out to deliver our food was also very pleasant. Overall, flavors and quality seemed to be good for the price. Cons: gal was very obviously stressed due to how she greeted us with a "I'm getting rid of most of the menu in order to simplify" and then literally told us that everything we came for was basically gone (cook/baker left). No chili, no fries, no desserts and she was out of one of the burgers. Also, the inside of this restaurant is obviously still questioning its identity because it was giving farm glam but things made no sense for its namesake (mirrors? Why so many TVs and little blackboards? Bougie paintings? House music? Farm animal home decor?) also...the women's bathroom was hella scary and had awful lighting yet the men's bathroom was well lit. Food: flavor was there, but some things just weren't - Parmesan fries just had like garlic salt on them? Both our taco meat was lukewarm and no cheese would melt. My fries supposedly had nacho cheese but came out with real cheese, which hey, better for me. Drinks were also blah - canned. It's just a preference but it's very limiting. I hope the menu isn't revamped to the point where their ratings keep declining, but to us, it was disappointing seeing such enticing photos and reviews to get lukewarm food and a very limited selection of foods.
